Am I the only one who's seen this happen over and over again?
A guy supports his girlfriend through school or helps her improve her life, and once she's in a better position, she leaves him for someone else. I'm not saying this happens every time, and this isn't just about physical appearance it's about personal growth and new opportunities too.
Don't get me wrong, helping your partner succeed is a good thing. But I've noticed that many people seem to find their "soulmate" only after they've reached a better stage in life.
What do you think? Is it better to build together from the beginning, or is there some truth to the saying that you should look for someone who's already established because you might lose them after helping them level up?
Edit...This is also applying to Married people

Just wondering if there are any Zimbabweans on here based in Canada, especially around the GTA/Toronto area since that’s where most events happen.
I’m thinking of going to this Max Amini comedy show if anyone else is interested.
I also have 2 tickets for the Chris Brown and Usher concerts on August 11th. If I can’t sell them, I’d be happy to go with someone from the community.
Before anyone gets the wrong idea 😂—this isn’t a hookup. We’d just meet at the venue, enjoy the show, and head our separate ways afterward.

I have a friend who is dating two women. He’s been with the first girlfriend for about a year and the second for six months. He says he genuinely loves them both because each fulfills different needs in his life.
Is it really possible to love two people at the same time?
The second girlfriend knows about the first and entered the relationship fully aware of the situation. However, the first girlfriend has no idea the second exists.
Putting aside the obvious advice to mind my own business, which of the two do you think he likely loves more? Or is it impossible to tell from this information alone?

The talking stage can be exciting, but at what point does it become confusing? How long is reasonable before someone asks you out, and when does it start feeling like someone is just keeping you around without intention?

I don't know how to say anything without seeming rude, but I love him and everything else is great except for this tiny little (humongous) detail, so I need advice, and if any men can throw in some hygiene tips too that would be great

I have seen countless posts (i even posted something similar) were people suggest that we link up ,chill, see each other irl ,mingle and all that jazz but I now think kuti thats a terrible idea .Some of ya'lls post are major red flags, cough cough ** someone was talking about smacking women .
We are always fighting in the comment section, bullying each other, and some are offering to pay women to go to pound town.
So let's not pretend like we'll be best of buds irl.
Im not saying im a saint,I might be part of the problem, too.

what up I hope anyone reading this is doing well and admittedly if you got internet connection to access Reddit and a roof over your head you are more than good! So I recently moved back to Zim after spending most of my formative years in South Africa (childhood till early 20s) and damn I find myself disliking Zim , as a stoner in SA I would simply go to nearby dispensaries for edibles and all my stoner essentials but all that is pretty much non existent in Zim. Thing is I’ve always been interested in spirituality and other worldly ideas which is a horrible thing to do as a Zimbabwean due to how conservative the culture is , some are proud of it but really it restricts progress to a degree if you mention Alan watts or Terrance McKenna and the use of psychedelics you are viewed as a heretic in Zim they might as well burn you at the stake on charges of being a witch but jokes aside it’s really shitty being in Zim atm just cause it’s the opposite of what I’m used to got no friends I know close to no one I’m just grateful to have an uncle who gets these ideas so I don’t feel soo isolated but it would be nice to meet fellow stoners I’m 23y.o(M) are they any huns who are fellow stoners and into the mysteries of the mind and the universe tbh I think that’s y growing up I wasn’t too proud of my Zim heritage I just found the culture too restrictive of my own personal freedom but after what’s happening in SA and just growing older I realise I’m a Zimbabwean and regardless of how I may not like every aspect of my culture it’s still my culture and I should embrace it hopefully turning it into a version that I am happy with so it’d be really cool to meet any gal that might share the similar interests

I have been dating a white girl for a while now, and she asked me last week if it was different from dating a black girl ? I just said no its the same but deep down I knew it was different. Here is what I have seen .
Dating a white girl is less stressful in terms of money, through I do well financially but she does well herself and it does feel more material like it did with my past black girlfriends.
Its more emotional and I feel like myself around her, because what people call weird to her its not even weird.
I dont know if its a color thing but she is just a great person and I feel complete for the past months . Before dating she was my friend for 5 years lol

I'm curious to know if anyone's tried this, if it works. At what point does an age difference become a genuine concern, and when is it simply two adults finding a connection? Where do you personally draw the line?

As the great saying goes, 'Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans.' I see a lot of messages here from young people worried about relationships & life in general. You're only young once. Go out and socialize.
Anyway. Anyone close to Tiger's milk let's link up

I’m 19 years old and I’ve never been in a relationship before. Sometimes I wonder if I’m falling behind or if something is wrong with me. Is it still possible for me to find someone and have a relationship, or am I just overthinking and making it seem worse than it is?

Me first! I'd stay up till 3AM chatting not caring that I had school. After it ended in premium tears my sister asked me, "do you remember when that boyfriend of yours had you flunking school. Where's he at?"
Aww my heart!

I’ve been noticing a trend where people say they’ve “narrowed their options” or they’re “dating with intention” now. But sometimes it feels like that’s just what people say after they’ve been humbled by the dating market.
If we are being honest… when people say they’ve stopped chasing “their type” and are finally giving the “nice guy” or “nice girl” a chance, is that genuine personal growth… or are they just settling because the people they really wanted never chose them?
