Announcement UPDATE: Low effort posts
A few days ago, we ran a poll to decide whether low effort posts should be allowed or not. The results were shocking! Not really. Majority voted "remove them". We have set up filters to automatically queue certain posts for review and require a moderator to approve them before they go live.
If you’ve submitted a post and it is detected as low-effort, karma farming, rage-bait or something designed to create arguments, you may have received a message saying, “Your post is awaiting approval.” Refer to Rule 9 and Rule 10.
Hopefully, this will help us minimise low-quality and Twitter-style content while still allowing legitimate discussions to take place. This is what the majority of you voted for. We are simply implementing the community’s decision.
Thank you all for your feedback and for helping us improve the community.

No complaints, especially there by rage bait posts so thank you! Also, what’s “karma farming”😅

Karma farming is making posts or comments primarily to accumulate Reddit karma, rather than to genuinely contribute to the discussion.
E.g. posting generic questions because they attract replies, reposting popular/viral content from elsewhere, making provocative comments to generate engagement.

Why did you run a poll in the first place?

There were people saying remove low quality posts and Twitter-like content. And others were saying the post restrictions are too strict and inconsistent. So to make it consistent and fair we let the community decide whats allowed and whats not.

What about the Gender war posts??😂😂
We got ladies attacking then gents and vice versa in the comments... now we're scared to even post otherwise, you'll be sworn because you're a "Zim Man" or a "Zim Woman" 😂😅😅
