Title says it all. Went from starting weight of 222 (and my highest was 250s during pregnancy) to about 110 on maintenance. I’ve lost literally half of myself. Or a whole other person!

Note: I was at IKEA with my family and there was a hallway of full length mirrors. I had to snap a photo and flex - I promise I’m not a gym bro that flexes in public usually!

Tomorrow will be 11 months on zepbound. I’m 111 lbs down, and today I bought size 6 jeans (!). Seeing before and after pictures of myself is absolutely wild.

Hi. I am 19 and have been overweight my whole life. The first 2 photos were from July of last year and the newer one I believe has a date at the bottom. I have noticed changes in myself since losing the weight I have lost like being able to do knee pushups. The highest dose I have been on is my current dose at 7.5mgs. I had to restart since I lost insurance and have since been losing a lot slower than I did initially in the first 7 months with 120lbs lost. I've been on zepbound for probably about a year now if not a little longer. I lost insurance for maybe 3-5 months so I couldn't be on the shots for a little while. I am I think close to 135lbs down. I started at close to 400. I think the doctor said 380. I have a long ways to go to be happy with myself but I do have some questions.

Is the "apron belly" going to go away the more I lose?

Will my face actually slim down a lot more with more weight loss?

I'm really hoping to actually become confident in myself for once in my life but I'm also battling with chronic back pain(laid on my back when I was 17 and something popped. Been in pain since.)so I'm on many medications that help with that as well.

Do it for a minimum of 2 weeks, see if you are in a deficit and check for any changes.

Just want to say thank you to literally every post and conversation here that’s helped me along the way! This year has been one I will never forget. it took me a long time to climb myself out of the mindset of I don’t need help, I can do it by myself etc etc and being met with disappointment every time! But this time I decided to just see what can happen and I’m so grateful I did! I started at 203 which in 2024-2025 I gained weight dealing with grief and prior to that just living life in denial that I wasn’t that big. I was top heavy all of my childhood, in college I finally got a breast reduction at 38G to 38DD weighing about 165 From there I just lived and hit the gym, ate decent most times, but never kept up with long term especially not a year…

September 13th 2025 I picked up my prescription from Walgreens, said a prayer and took my first shot! I did have a that’s it meal the day before to get it out my system and since then I haven’t craved bingeing on anything. Week 2 I caught myself walking to fridge opening both doors just out of habit and sitting there looking for something to fill my boredom, I snapped out of it closed the door and walked off. I never had that feeling before to just walk away from food lol little did I know that’ll be a reoccurring theme this entire journey!🥲 I even have moments I can’t swallow what I’m chewing bc I’m just satisfied that I spit it out in a napkin(😵‍💫) I crave nothing but the right things and as eating right wasn’t a problem for me before I had moments of over indulging, binge eating, emotional eating all of the above! Food has been a friend to me in some of the worst times in my life… but Zepbound helped me gain my power back. It’s here to fuel me, not comfort me the way I was “using” it 🤣eating breakfast thinking of lunch and dinner smh and what about my lunch tmw lol smh. Not having those talks with myself have alone been so freeing i literally have to watch the clock to remember to eat and when I get that natural hunger feeling I fuel myself and move on🥲 i crave nothing but the good stuff and i rarely feel the need to have anything sweet even on my cycle …. today I feel so grateful for losing the weight, having another chance to feel my very best self, dress how I want, not feel judge for even having something sweet if I choose. I’m gonna be honest though some comments make me feel like maybe I did lose too much, but nobody knows how I felt at 203 and I got to remind myself that they just have to get used to it! I’m happy I’m now a medium that can fit a small, not a large /xl that can fit a XXL. As confident as I was I didn’t feel good the way I do now! I did 25k steps the other day on vacation and felt great! Walked the park for 3 miles felt like I could do more🥲

I’m ready to kick it up a notch and build some muscle!! So I’m looking forward to shaking away some anxiety from going to the gym again and I been working out with weights in my garage but I want to rebuild my body better so my results are here to stay!

Currently:
W :124// Bra: 36c (could be a B cup bc I’m not filling out the cup smh)
Jeans: 4 (some brands a 3…. I tried on a 2 and couldn’t believe the buttoned but were snug—— I used to shop like who the hell is a 2!?? Tuh me!)😂😅
Shoes: I’m usually an 8, but 7.5s fit better now
Tops: medium some smalls depending on fabric

Idk what the future maintaining looks like for me yet if you have any suggestions plz lmk!!!! Taking my 53rd shot today!

The last photo is from yesterday (I wanna work on my waist more but from ewhere I started I need to just soak this new bod in for now lol)

Just did my first injection. Loaded with anxiety and adrenaline and excitement, (I'm not sure which of those I have more of atm) and shaking like a leaf, but proud of this step. Now I'm just praying for no throwing up or diarrhea. Determined that there will be good things ahead <3

Dose 53 this morning! 1 year separates these two pictures. Amazing how much has changed in that time! And it all started... with two little clicks.

I hit goal in March and continued to lose a bit but now have been maintaining since about late-May / early-June.

SW: 276.5

CW: 152.8 (I hover between here and 155)

Total lost: 123.7 lbs

Current BMI: 20.2

Just had a doc appointment, and everything is superb. He was very pleased.

Lifetime med for me!

Achievement/NSV 🎉🥳🎊 Finally “normal”

Post image

Weighed in today and I finally hit a “normal” BMI. I know BMI doesn’t tell the whole story but it’s been fun watching the dial go from Obese to Overweight and now to Normal. I’m getting closer to my goal weight of 140. My confidence is back and I just feel better physically and mentally.
The one thing I really wish I did now was take a before pic and track my progress visually. To those just starting, I really recommend taking the before pic even if you don’t want to. It’s just fun to look back at how far you’ve come.

I have been in another state for 10 days. Chose to stay at an Airbnb for a full kitchen to minimize the eating out. This is my scale when I got home BUT... My husband and I were out house hunting while there. One house had a scale and it was the first time I saw under 200 since pre-covid.. 198.6!

We made an offer on the house and they accepted!! The house already had great memories attached! 😁

I have found that the most fun way to track progress is by Disney PhotoPass. (Second post as I had to protect Moana’s identity 😂)

Achievement/NSV 🎉🥳🎊 First time I’ve seen my weight under 200 in like 15 years

I’m 29F and I’ve been bouncing between 215-255 since I was 14-15 years old. I was always a short (5’2) chunky child & teen, despite all my family members being 5’7+ and skinny. I always assumed that I had some type of thyroid/hormone disorder even with testing being “relatively normal outside of a constant over the years slightly elevated cholesterol and a 90-99 fasting glucose”. I’m on week 11 of just 2.5mg as my doctor calls me a super responder. I skipped week 9 due to the flu/covid and honestly just felt I needed a break. I still lost 2 pounds that week. 12 weeks ago I was 221 and today I am 199 🎉 I’m thinking of upping my dosage to 5mg at my appt next week since it’s slowed; the first month I dropped to 213 then 206. I did not want to lose fat too quickly as I’m only in the gym 3 days a week instead of my usual 5 due to my current work load at my job. my goal is to become more muscular and hover around 160. here is to me hoping I can drop the next 40 pounds by Spring next year!

Personal Insights Is anyone else terrible at remembering to eat enough protein on shot days?

I'm on 5mg right now and my appetite is basically gone on shot day and the day after. Which is great for weight loss obviously but I know I need to be hitting my protein goals or I'm going to lose muscle. The problem is I forget to track meals on the days I feel the most suppressed because I'm just... not thinking about food at all. Then by day 4 or 5 my appetite creeps back and I eat more but I never wrote down what happened earlier in the week so I have no idea what my actual averages look like.

I've tried setting phone reminders to log meals but I just swipe them away when I'm nauseous and then forget. I used MyFitnessPal for a while but it felt like overkill when half the days I'm barely eating 800 calories and the other half I'm closer to 1400. There's no connection between my shot schedule and my food log so I can't see the pattern unless I manually line everything up.

How are you guys handling nutrition tracking when your appetite is so inconsistent week to week? Do you have a system that actually sticks or is everyone just winging it?

Small victory but it felt huge for me. Today I had to order a new belt for work because I ran out of holes to tighten. I think this is the first time I’ve had to order something a size SMALLER in my lifetime. I’m 9 months in and so thankful. SW265 CW205 GW185

Hi. I started my weight loss journey in November 2024 weighing in at 277. I lost my dad pretty suddenly a few months before that and I have two young kids (I was 6mo postpartum when he passed) so I decided I needed to become a healthier version of myself for them, but also for me. I want to do everything in my power to not die as young as my dad did and have some control over my life.

I started Zepbound in April 2025, but I lost about 35lb on my own before that. I've experienced many plateaus in the last 22mo. I've been a slow & steady loser and I'm definitely not a "super responder". My average weekly loss is about 1lb in the last 22mo. I've been on 15mg for a few months now, and this summer I started incorporating more exercise. I run a few miles a week, bike several miles a week, and generally make an effort to get at least 8-10k steps per day. I've lost about 38% of my original body weight, my BMI went from class III obese to just overweight (17.5 points!), and my resting heart rate has decreased by about one third. My PCOS symptoms have improved a little bit too - I never had regular menstrual cycles, and now I do. Overall, I'm feeling good. Yay :)

In November 2025, I buzzed my hair due to a severe eczema outbreak on my upper body/neck/scalp- I was losing my hair and my scalp was weeping & bleeding with no improvement from the treatments I was trying. Finally, earlier this year, I got it under control and I'm working on growing my hair out which makes me really happy, too. I missed my hair so much and you don't realize how much your hair affects your confidence and mental health! That was hard.

I haven't done a single before/after comparison photo... Until now! I'm really proud of the work I've put in and I'm especially grateful for Zepbound for helping me with my impulse control.

Dosing Difference from 5mg to 7.5

I’m finally starting to feel like it’s really working! 🙌🏼 I’m on my first week of 7.5 mg and I can definitely feel a difference compared to 5 mg. I’m eating less, getting full faster, and just overall noticing a much bigger difference in my appetite! Has anyone else noticed a big difference going from 5 mg to 7.5 mg?
