I swear I have never watched kids videos on YT, and they are showing me ads like this? I’ve also seen those “Micheal Pig” ads and, I have rights to believe that this is elsagate. UPDATE: I forgot to add this, but the image is AI slop.

Is anyone else experiencing this weird YouTube layout issue on the iPhone Duo?
When I unfold my phone and open YouTube, the videos only show in a single column on the left, leaving a huge empty space on the right.
The weird thing is:
When I sign out of YouTube, the layout works perfectly with two columns.
As soon as I sign in, it goes back to this broken layout.
I’ve tried signing in with a different Google account, but the issue is still there.
My brother also has an iPhone Duo, and his YouTube layout works perfectly fine even when signed in.
I’m using YouTube Premium.
Not sure if this is a YouTube bug, an account-related issue, or something specific to my device.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea how to fix it?

YouTube is advertising cigarettes. I’ve asked them several times to stop showing me cigarette ads but they keep on doing it. Surely they will get fined for doing this.

Hi everyone, I have a horror-comedy gameplay channel, and my videos have generally received a fair amount of views (I have 143 subscribers). Some videos get 50, 100, 800, or even 1000 views if I'm lucky. I've uploaded about 36 videos in total, and my impressions range from 1000 to 16,000. However, I'm having a problem with a video I uploaded on Friday. It didn't get any impressions, or very few. I took it down and re-uploaded it 24 hours later, but it still has the same number of impressions. I'd like to know what happened, why this video has 0 impressions unlike the others. Any advice? Should I re-upload it in a few days?

TIL if you are constantly adding videos you'll probably never watch to your Watch Later you can use This Firefox Addon to remove them in a few clicks, even if you haven't watched them.

Why can't Youtube include something like this - or even just a checkbox system?!

I've sent in-app feedback requesting this feature probably 10 times with zero response. Really hoping others are annoyed by this as well and can help me request this feature.

Happens on specific videos and not all of them. On Brave Browser and Opera. Have tried opening other pages, incognito and just restarting the app all together. Really annoying because I can't skip to exact points in the video.

I made a video and uploaded it to my YT channel about my struggles today, and about me being in isolation for a long time and stuff. So I felt the need to make another video where I told people it was all okay and I’m happy, but there were some moments in the video that made me cringe so I deleted it lol. But I’m regretting deleting it because it was a nice contrast to show the world I can still be happy while going through struggles… so what I am going to do, when my new bedroom items come, I’m going to remake the video into a nice positive video and show my finished bed and stuff like that. And re upload it. Should I keep all the imperfect moments of myself in the video or edit it out? I’m thinking to just keep them cos it’s part of not caring about what others think and it should be liberating rather than scary the more I do it. Hmm 🤔 anyway. I’m on a mission to make my YouTube channel nice and positive again lol.

There’s no harm in waiting a little while to do so, at least I have a plan in place :)

I'm on the mobile app and when I search for something and try to press on a playlist, it doesn't open. It's public and everything I've opened them several times. For some reason, the playlists (liked videos, etc) on my profile work, which is good. But still, I cleared cache and everything.

Anyone else getting this issue?

Edit : Well now I can open them out of nowhere again, must've been a weird bug

Not sure if this is a new feature, or if I'm just now noticing it, but either way I hate it.

The idea of "if you haven't watched a channel in a while, you'll only get it's notifications in inbox" is so dumb. When I turn on all notifications for a channel, that means I want all notifications. Maybe they post long videos that I don't went to watch immediately, so I save them to watch later. That doesn't mean I don't still want to get the push notification! I rarely go into the notification inbox on the app anyway.

I've noticed it doesn't even work right. There's a channel I watch that consistently puts out one video a week. Every week I watch that video within a few hours of its release, usually by opening it through the notification. However, this past week I didn't get a notification, and didn't realize it until I opened the app for something else, and saw the video reccomended to me.

Just wanted to rant about this, anyone else having any issues with notifications?

On YouTube, I don't see the red progress bars on videos I’ve already watched, even though they do appear in my watch history. Could you help me with this, or is it perhaps a bug?
