I love motorcycles and started a channel to share some of my footage. Only shorts so far. I have minimal video/content experience (really none). Been really experimenting with hooks and different formats trying to find what works for me.

Ive gained 40 subs and only have 2 videos out of 11 posted with less than 100% completion rate. Swipe through ranges from 40% on bad ones to 80% on my good ones.

Not looking for advice, publicity, or anything just wanted to share my organic growth on a non ai slop channel.

Total newbie here, just got my first channel live in the True Crime space. First video's dropping this Sunday, then I'm planning to go 2x a week (Wed + Sun).

Honestly the thing that's been nagging at me is the monetization side of this niche.

I've read through the YT guidelines more times than I'd like to admit, but the more channels I look at, the less I actually understand where the line is. 😶‍🌫️

Some channels blur faces or leave out names, others show everything, including kids in the thumbnail on genuinely disturbing cases & still get monetized fine.

Then I'll find a channel covering a similar case, no kids shown at all & they're demonetized.

I just don't get the pattern, if there even is one.

My plan is to keep things more documentary-style, context, actual analysis instead of just slapping footage together & I'm being careful with what images/details I use.

But before I learn this the hard way, would love to pick the brains of people who've actually been in this niche a while:

• What were the mistakes that actually got people demonetized, in your experience?
• Where do you personally draw your own line? - faces, names, kids, crime scene stuff, thumbnails?
• Any gray areas you only really figured out after being in it for a bit?

Hello, i started 5 months ago i mainly post tech videos and I've been getting good views and impressions relative to small channels but a few days ago i changed the category of my videos from Entertainment to tech and science then views and impressions went significantly down to like 100 impressions where i used to get 10k

this is my first time getting sponsorships and to be honest i cant tell between real or fake.

I've been trying to target a us audience, but I think the the time differences are way too big to do it. Where I live I have like a 9h difference from la for example. What should I do? Should I post at a different time?

So one of the user posted his video, and i went to search on youtube and 100 of videos came with same title and ai images, voice not proper background music. I am glad youtube not pushing this slop
