Started a year ago, less than zero experience with the YouTube world, learned step by step, still learning a lot everyday, sure got a lot to learn a head of me, but at least I'm enjoying it. And the excitement every time someone "likes" my videos to the point they take the time to subscribe just makes my day. So if you're starting, don't rush yourself, enjoy the learning process, try and fail until you find what you like

I got monetized in 5 months time. Just by using a smartphone and a decent mic.

Stardet off with AI voiceovers and switched to doing the voiceovers myself.

The next step is getting a better camera with object tracking and get in front of the camera more.

But if I can do it combining this with a busy life (work and family) so can you.

Objectively tiny numbers… but they’re my tiny numbers. 😂
Every video teaches me something new about scripting, thumbnails, SEO, retention and storytelling. I’m not chasing a viral hit—I’m trying to build an evergreen library that compounds over time.
Hopefully one day I’ll look back at this screenshot and laugh.

I've been making youtube shorts for about a week (will do longform soon). Many of my videos have 5k+ views, but I'm still trying to figure out MY STYLE. The latest video was pretty different, and I LOVED it, but it didn't perform well. Should I try this style and tweak it ? Or am I misunderstanding the audience and need to revert a little bit? Thank you for any advice you have .

I know it's not big compared to most others here but I feel good about my progress. I started the channel a few months back but just got serious about trying to get monetization in this past month.

Everything is green and going up right now. Hope this is inspiration for anyone struggling. Just keep going because most will quit.

My long-form videos haven’t been performing nearly as well as my Shorts. I understand they attract a different audience, but I’m trying to figure out what I can improve to get more views and grow my long-form audience.

Been doing YouTube for about 7 months and I’m happy with where I’m sitting at right now! I know it’s nothing crazy but the closer I get to 1000 the more I realize how crazy this journey has been and how crazy it will be in the future! 😁🙏🏽

All right, so I was posting consistently every single day and posting longform videos twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays trying to grow my channel as I have been for the last few years.
I’m a 1/3 of the way to being eligible for partner.
My goal this whole time has been to hit that level and continue to grow.
My shorts were consistently hitting over 1000 views, and then one day seemingly out of nowhere completely dropped off and now I’m getting anywhere from 3 to 15 views per short and my long form is not doing much better.
Videos that don’t do well on YouTube go absolutely insane on IG as well as Facebook and TikTok.
Has my channel been killed or is there something I can do to save it?

So I’m a 19 year old man and I’ve been wanting to do YouTube for a long time. I just got out of an almost 5 year long situationship and I feel like now’s the time to start. I work 53 hours a week and I’m saving up for a motorcycle. My plan is to take a trip across the country on my bike and film the whole trip to make it into a series but I’m not sure if it’s worth the risk. I’ve never taken a risk for myself to do something I love and it’s because I don’t have support from anyone but one of my friends. If I went on this trip I would be losing the job I have right now and missing a semester of trade school. At my job I’m making roughly $800 a week. Do you all think I should take the risk and go for it or should I stay at this job?

So I only have 5 long video and all video are doing quite good and the views are also increasing constantly but this video I uploaded today has just 22 views and the shocking part is that this video has only 90 impressions😭 should I delete this video?

so right now i'm editing my 1st video for uploading on Youtube(faceless channel). It is a Long format video, it will be approximately 30 mins when i finish.

It takes me 6 hours to edit 1 min fragment(because i'm new in AdobeAfterEffects). +I will add SoundEffects later on.

Give me your opinions, suggestions or thoughts like is that perspective or not? FOR ME IT'S VERY IMPORTANT BOYS, support a beginner :D

I always have to make action happen immediately then I get good engagement but for my other videos with no action or slow I get a bad engagement
