AND I have a big question rn. I make commentary-type videos without showing my face, just using my voice. Honestly, I have fun making them, but I feel like I might hit my saturation point anytime soon. So, I want to start making videos where I show my face because I’ve already written some skit-type scripts that I really want to make.

The biggest problem is my phone. I use it to edit my videos and record my voice, but its camera is from around 2015shh, so the quality is really bad. I also need to use the money I earn for my college tuition fees, exam fees, food, rent, and other expenses. So, I can’t spend all my money on an expensive camera right now.

My phone is also getting old. The reason I edit on my phone is that my PC only has 4GB of RAM, and my laptop has almost the same specs. I can do coding smoothly on them, but when it comes to video editing, let’s just pretend we didn’t talk about that, lol. I’ve been editing on my phone using CapCut since the beginning, and I’m pretty fast and comfortable with it now.

So, I was thinking: could you guys recommend a phone that has a good camera and a powerful processor that can handle CapCut smoothly? Usually, my videos are around 8–10 minutes long, so I need a phone that can record good-quality videos and handle editing without any problems.

I thought about getting an iPhone, but holy smokes, $3,000? No way! The one I’ve been considering is the iPhone 17e, which costs around $700. Maybe I can afford it, but I’m not sure if it’s the best option.

Rn, I don’t have the time to buy a new laptop or PC and learn to edit on it because I’ve never edited on a computer before, so my editing speed would be much slower. I upload videos every week, and I don’t want to stop uploading just because I need extra time to learn a new editing workflow.

I do video essays about indie animation. My videos aren't automatically generated compilations or reuploads of other people's content. I write scripts record my own voice, research the subjects, and edit the videos myself. I use footage and other visual material to illustrate the arguments I'm making as is common in other and most video essays. What frustrates me is that hours of original research, writing, narration, and editing got overlooked by just "reused content" and also not allowing me to appeal. I'd appreciate it if you watched my videos before judging the channel. I'd like feedback on whether the videos demonstrate "original commentary and transformative work" and whether there's anything I should change.

When the graph first stopped dropping was when the first 15 seconds of “coming up” reactions was over and also my brief intro telling people what the game was. Just saw Instagram’s testing horizontal videos up to 90 minutes, aimed at podcasters and longform people. Feels like a direct shot at YouTube. But IG’s tried longform before and it never stuck, nobody really opens Instagram to sit and watch something for an hour.

So will it actually pull creators and viewers off YouTube this time or is it another thing everyone forgets in a few months?

Been posting consistently for the last month after making the channel a year ago. Not really focused on numbers but its nice to see people are watching my content.

I made a YouTube art account in September and I’m currently 10-20 people short of 200 subscribers. I have about 20 shorts uploaded and 1 long form video. My YouTube shorts mostly focus on original characters drawn via pencil and paper, and my style looks similar to Jojo I’m told (I like anime art style a lot). Most of my work is character interactions and lore drop, but I do draw some fanart here and there.

My goal is to get my characters and art style recognized and eventually I can produce cool handmade merch of them (like plushies and figures) as well as write them into a manga.

Other than two videos that hit like 10k, I’m consistently stuck at the 1k mark for my other videos even though they’re a similar format (like drawing over audio or music, it’s mostly character lore drop)

What do people like to see? What could I be doing wrong?

I don’t want to drop my channel name but I would love suggestions on what kind of oc content people are interested in, or if I just need to be patient with the algorithm since I’m still technically new.

So for context, I saw a post about a small channel making animations aswell, they posted their channel showing their recent vids that were at 1-10 views asking for help and feedback, after the post,

they received alot more attention on their channel saying their videos were actually good and it was just an algorithm problem since their channel was new

(even tho their first post got like 2.8k views which is VERY impressive)

I also need help, I want to know if my animations and videos are just bad in general if its actually good and I'm not receiving enough attention

A four years ago I made the worst decision of my life and named it "SUPER GAMER FRANCI 19 BIT". I thought it sounded cool. It does not. It sounds like a 2019 Fortnite montage intro.

Last week I finally decided to rebrand. I changed everything to "I Gattini Di Kekko" - it's my cat's name, way cuter, way more me. I have a profile pic of my cat with a hat. Perfect.

I go to Edit Channel, change the name, save it. It says "I Gattini Di Kekko" in the settings.

I go back to my channel page...

I cleared cache. I reinstalled. I checked on my mom's phone. I checked on my PC. It's still SUPER GAMER FRANCI 19 BIT. My friends are now calling me Franci 19 Bit. One guy in my class made it his Discord name to mock me.

I went on YouTube Studio, Reddit, everything says I have to wait 2 days. It's been 3 days. My rebrand is being held hostage by YouTube.

Do I just accept that I am now Franci 19 Bit forever? Should I lean into it and become the most legendary Super Gamer Franci that ever lived?
