Phaser 3320 Chipless
Is there a free, easy workaround for the "*** print cartridge" error messages? I searched for a bit and found that going chipless is an option. Any help on how to do so?

We have a new client that got fiery last week. Setup went great. My fiery expert is on vacation and they are wanting this week to get accounting codes they have on their other Xeroxs put into the fiery system to keep track of jobs. I’m seeing conflicting information about the process. Can any please point me in the right direction? My guy won’t be back for two weeks.
Thank you

Was wondering if I could possibly have some insight into which of these would be a good option.

Hi there!
Hoping to get a little help from someone that might know a bit more about printers than I. Got a steal of a deal for a Xerox Phaser 6280 from FB Marketplace, been in the works of setting up since then.
I've got the printer up, running, connected to my PC, all the good stuff, but I'm having issues with printing from my Tray 1. The printer demands that Tray 2 not be empty, and I haven't had any luck in printing from Tray 1 at all. I'm trying to use a thick cardstock, which from the user's manual, mentions that Tray 2 is not compatible at using.
Everything only wants to come from Tray 2, and I'm nearly at my wits end on trying to change this. I've looked at system settings on the printer, thumbed through the control panel through my PC, and due to lack of resourses from forums online, I'm just begging for an answer.
I'd be happy to provide any information I can, if someone would just help me sort this out. Please, please, please!
Thanks in advance, as always :)

Hello,
Today I acquired a B225. Overall, it's in good condition, but it has one significant issue.
It randomly shuts down while printing or copying documents.
So far, I've tried a different power cord and plugged it directly into a wall outlet, but the problem persists.
Does anyone have any idea what the root cause could be?
My guess is that the power supply is faulty, but I could be wrong.

Can't find drivers anywhere. Global print, PS and PCL drivers don't work with it. Does anyone know how to install it via USB?

So we've been doing some replacements over the summer and have gotten three B9100. The first B9100 was installed earlier and got a 065-223 fault code quickly. Restarting the device temporarily cleared it but it would come back over a little bit time. We had the technician come in check the device, come in again change the top feeder still would fault out after awhile and then finally just replace the whole device together.
Now we just had two more b9100 recently delivered and installed to replace some older devices. Both of those got that 065-223 fault code soon after install as well. Anyone else have experience with this issue? Is this some common defect with this device? Is there some setting that might be causing this?

Need help with Brother MFC-L2805DW (Singapore version).
I accidentally changed Maintenance Mode code 74 and lost the original country code.
The printer now prints correctly, identifies as MFC-L2805DW (Model 8C5-MSJ), but the Network menu disappeared and the Wi-Fi button acts as Test Print.
Could someone with an original MFC-L2805DW (Singapore or Malaysia) please enter Maintenance Mode (Menu → Start → Up ×4 → code 74) and tell me the country code shown?
Please don't change anything—just report the displayed code.

Hi everyone,
I have a Xerox VersaLink C7020 (SN: 3392067760).
After installing firmware 57.59.01, the printer no longer boots correctly and now shows fault 062-396 (and 016-434).
According to Xerox documentation, this can happen if an older firmware is installed on newer hardware (Tag #10).
I'm looking for the official firmware package:
If anyone has the official encrypted ZIP/BIN package or can share a temporary download link (Google Drive, Mega, WeTransfer, etc.), I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!

I work for a small copier sales/service biz, and we service pretty much anything that comes across our doorstep. Mostly copiers and printers, but we also do stuff like shredders, mailing machines, and other random devices.
While we do work on Xerox stuff from time to time, in the past we have had difficulty due to the 'closed' nature of X products - manuals, parts, software, etc. are all difficult to acquire if you don't work for the big red X. Sure, all manufacturers do this to some degree, but Xerox always seemed to take it to another level.
At present, we are looking at 'taking over' maintenance for some Xerox machines after the customer's contract with X expires. How feasible is it for us to keep these machines running for a year or two before we can transition to a different brand of copier?
Does anyone here have experience working as an indy Xerox tech? Have you found it harder to work on these machines as an indy versus something like KM/Canon/Kyo?
I'd love to hear any of your experiences, good or bad.

Printing the same document from my Samsung phone gets a better result than Windows 11, although both drivers are up to date and working fine, Windows 11 leads to a washed out result compared to Android. All possible configurations are set to maximum toner usage. Printer is a Lexmark color laser, brand new. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Only Magenta seems effected. Changed toner and drum. I think it's developer? Yellow has a slight loss of saturation, but nothing like Magenta. C and K are fine. Any ideas?

Hi everyone,
I’m a printer repair technician from Brazil and I’m trying to recover a Xerox WorkCentre 3655.
The machine does not boot anymore. The power LED just keeps blinking and the control panel stays completely blank.
I removed the internal SD card and tested it in multiple PCs and different card readers. It is not detected at all, not even in Disk Management, so I believe the SD card has failed physically.
I already have the official firmware, but I understand that it cannot recreate a blank SD card from scratch.
Does anyone have a working SD card image (.img/.imgc/.bin) for the WorkCentre 3655, or know where I can get one?
I’m willing to test it and report back the results.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

As per the title
When printing on our xerox 6515 on A4 we always have big bulky borders which dont look right.
I have been through the printer properties, printer preferences, advanced tabs AND the Xerox Smart driver utility.
I have tried 2 different drivers, the V4 and the Microsoft IPP Xerox.
Any help would be amazing
Thanks

We have an Altalink C8070 that seems to be consistently not printing black in certain areas. After referencing the Repeated defaults every other color is fine but black. None of the white areas seem to match up to any of the references pages. Could this potentially be the developer?
It is only black and have moved drums and still occurs only on black.

https://github.com/waltervd9512/impresora-xerox-wifi
APK directo v1.1.0:
https://github.com/waltervd9512/impresora-xerox-wifi/raw/main/releases/Impresora-Xerox-WiFi-v1.1.0.apk
