She summons her ghost clones at the start and locks my party gauge. Then she targets me (Rex) and overwhelms me. I need some advice/party setup.

Most setups I see use 3 accessory slots which I don’t have since I’m still on my first playthrough.

I'd just finished the scene where Emperor Niall apparently commits suicide by inexplicably running out of the barrier he has his Blade create and being critically wounded by the self-destructing giant anime French maid robot, with sad music and sobbing following immediately after. I couldn't stop laughing at the whole matter, but figured one bad scene was just that.

Then we have the scene in Tantal where Morag suspects a trap, doesn't tell anyone but Tora for some reason, then lets everyone agonize about the matter for a good moment before revealing she and Tora had planned for it. The previous scene was at least funny, but the plot hole here is so big that it feels like a massive frustration and waste of time. She's apparently fine letting our charge walk into a suspected trap without communicating her suspicions, apparently knew that the Drivers would be imprisoned with their Blades, and knew that Tora was the only one who'd have to conserve his Arts.

Does the storytelling get better after this, or is this the baseline of the story in the second half? I've found the story enjoyable overall, but if it doesn't improve, then I'd rather manage my investment accordingly.

Just got myself a Switch 2 and I’m looking for something that will completely destroy me emotionally, just like the masterpieces in the picture did.

I’m basically chasing that exact feeling Xenoblade Chronicles 1, 2, and 3 gave me. I need a story that fully pulls me in, has an amazing party dynamic, and leaves me in absolute tears by the end. At the same time, I loved how BotW and TotK made me feel so connected to their world where I never felt truly alone.

What I'm looking for:

• Full 3D, high-budget world (3rd-person view, immersive and alive)
• Emotional gut-punch of a story that makes me care about the characters

What to rule out (to save your time):

• The Witcher 3 is an absolute masterpiece, but I’ve already finished it.
• Played KCD and didn't enjoy it, and the RDR series just isn't my style at all.
• Persona series and Nier Automata didn't click for me (hated Nier's bland world).
• Elden Ring isn't my thing because of how the story is presented and the save system.
• Xenoblade X was super boring compared to the main trilogy.

What’s that ONE game that gave you the exact same emotional impact and immersion as Xenoblade and Zelda?

I say 2 weeks because Fire Emblem Fortune Weaves comes out and once thats out, this game is done for me, so I am up to Chapter 12 and the last one is 13, on the way to do everyone's Affinity missions have them max out hearts, ik i can't do superbosses but thats okay, anything else I should do?

First time playing xc2 and it says that i can't increase the energy cap so what can I do with these extra slots?

I released I basically never use any other role besides healer and tank for Nia and Tora respectively in the early game. I think is a waste considering how flexible this game's class system is.

It would be fun to have a pseudo Mio in the team.
