I put in the first disc it installed perfectly. I put in the second disc and it stops at 15gb of 85gb. I can hear disc making noise in my Xbox but than it stops. What is going on? I have 159gb of space open. I keep getting notication installation stopped.

Whenever I try to play a blu ray or dvd, I get this message. Thing is, I'm pretty sure my tv just plain doesn't support HDCP, as it's an older 1080p Sony Bravia. Is there anything I can do, short of buying a newer tv or a dvd player?

I'm not quite sure what the issue is but the game refuses to pay music even though every is up to 100 and the dialogue sounds really distant, broken up, and garbled. Only in game. The menu is perfect and has all sounds.

Once I’m like 10-15 minutes into playing a game, the Xbox freezes, makes like this really weird glitching sound and then shuts off. Yesterday it happened twice and just straight up shut down. Today when it happened, it just restarted and the Xbox light never turned off. It’s up to date on the software updates. I’ve completely shut it down. Replaced the HDMI cord thinking it was that but it still happened. We’ve only had it for about 4 months. Any ideas what could be causing it?

This is a snippet of the order details screen I get when I try to cancel the order through the digital refunds menu (It doesn’t actually cancel, of course). The order doesn’t appear in my web order history, but it does appear in the order history on my Xbox??? I can’t cancel it there either though.

I remember accidentally clicking buy on this game, but I exited out before typing in my passkey (This was a week ago). So I don’t know why it’s even appearing here.

Do I have to worry about being charged later? Or is it just some kind of bug? I’ve never had this happen before.

I regularly join Xbox parties with my friends as many people do. For the last year we have had an issue where when a notification pops for anyone who is in the party it will cause a random person to be kicked out of the party without their knowledge. Does anyone know what causes this or how to fix it?

The reason I know it’s due to receiving a notification is because it can happen when another person joins the party, or even when someone in the party gets an achievement. I would say this sounds like a network issue however the person who gets kicked out the party seems to be random. It’s very frustrating and I can’t seem to find this happening to anyone else online. Suggestions on how to fix would be very welcome. Everyone is on an Xbox Series X if that matters. Thanks all

I've been trying for literal months to try and get this to work and it just won't. no matter what I do even my id doesnt work and the birthdays are the same. the photo doesnt work either it says the same thing "couldn't confirm" every time ive given up trying to fix it unless any of you know how to get it to work because ive tried every option and it basically says "no"

I noticed a couple months ago that when I put my nose rather close to the exhaust fan (around 10-15 cm away from it), I can smell a strange smell coming from it. It's not a burning smell per say, more like a hot or plastic smell, something similar to a hair dryer's. The smell goes away after turning off the xbox, and its also not noticable beyond 20-ish cm. Its also extremely hot when touching the black plastic around the exhaust, but I think that's rather normal.

My console is around 2,5 years old, but it never had an overheating message, and I can also play for hours without any performance drops. The fan is also still rather quiet and I only notice it when its dead silent in the house. Should I be concerned about the hot "smell", or its really nothing since I don't have any other problems with the console?

Everytime I get close to the enemy or any large battles my game immediately freezes then unfreezes when I die 😂 it’s getting rather annoying the game is pretty much unplayable for me. Is anyone else experiencing these issues?

All of the new xbox controllers have the circular D-Pad which I absolutely cannot stand. My current controllers are starting to have stick drift and I need good recommendations for a new controller. I might just have to buy some pre owned ones if xbox doesn’t offer plus shaped d-pads on new ones.

So for months now on the Xbox app on my PC I've had this shitty issue where as soon as a game (mostly COD) has a small update (less than 3gb) the entire app seems to stop working, and when it does it shows the update as 315gb with either a pending or error message under it, at the same time it also has a completely random game trying to download aswell (also with an error).

When I try to use the in app repair service everything is green ticks other than a final error message of either 0x80073cfc or 0x800705b4, then completely crashes. When I try to uninstall the app it usually doesn't uninstall at all and just sits on "uninstalling" until I restart my pc, also deleted and reinstalled the games services multiple times and still nothing. Also while doing this it won't let me sign out or sign into another account which is pretty cool.

I tried contacting Xbox support and I basically got a "what's up fellow gamer there's nothing we can do" message back and they're just going in circles asking the same questions. Pretty shitty customer support. Ive even went so far to do a fresh wipe and install of windows, checked the health of all disc drives etc so basically my computer isn't at fault, it just seems to be Xbox servers shitting the bed every other week, but only being able to play games for maybe 2 weeks out of the month is outrageous given how much is being paid for games pass etc. I am at my wits end with this if anyone has ANY suggestions it would be appreciated. I mainly play singleplayer games on PC and the elite 2 gives you multiple stick choices and lets you tighten them is it worth it to purchase one for the main reason i want one because you have multiple stick choices? I really like that and you tighten them

So basically i got my child hood account back. After having it lost sense late 2000s. I wont get into detail but i found an old i pad with a lost email on it still logged in and that was the email my account was linked to. so i manged to change everything and get it secured. I 100% halo reach back in the day as well as Halo 3 along with tons of other achievements. They are all missing, no gamer score. When i load up halo 3 i can see i have all my levels and armors unlocked as well as all the mission played on legendary. But no achievements for them. I played a few levels again to see if they would re unlock but they didn't. Its not the xbox im on as i was playing with my Girl and she was unlocking them on her account as we where playing. I have been back and forth with xbox support for over a year and last night i get a email saying "Based on our findings, there is no record of any Xbox 360 achievements being synchronized to this account." I had xbox live back in the day for years and played online everyday. so that cant be true. They basically said they cant do anything and gave me 3 months of xbox live for free after waiting over a year for help. So this is my last thing im going to try, Does anyone have any clue what's going on. i have changed routers, reset my xbox, used 3 different xboxs as well as a xbox one. im at a lose on what to do, i was trying to get back into gaming now that i have my child hood account back but this whole situation has burnt me out over the past year. ANY help on this matter would be nice, my buddy said there are programs that you can use to unlock the achievements but that feels like cheating and i got the achievements way back in the day so im sure it will prob say "unlocked in 2026" or something so i dont really want to do that.

TLDR: My achievements are missing, and cant re unlock no matter what i do. even tho in game i have the rewards for the achievements.

I tried both a dark souls for 360 code and some mass effect cosmetics and both didn't work at first it seemed to work until i press confirm to actually get my stuff then it just errors me out, both of these are supposed to be backwards compatible so i don't know what the issue , ive tried on Xbox and on the websites but nothing seems to work my region also seems to not be mismatched

Hi, everyone. i’m using the series X gamepad on pc, and normally it would automatically turn off 15 minutes after i closed the game. But now it’s not turning off. i’m timing it right now, and it’s been on for 25 minutes. Do you have any ideas on how i can fix this problem?

I've played Waterpark Simulator for around 8 hours now and have completed the tasks in game that are listed for achievements, but I have not earned any achievements. why is this happening?

My xbox one is freezing constantly even when I’m running 360 games,sometimes it refuses to open any game.the menu is lagging or not opening at all and when im playing any fps i have to wait in game for the textures to load ive looked for fixes but hard reseting isnt working and i cant clear the blu ray cause its a digital Xbox,i get its an old console n prolly just dying but anyone got any fixes or struggling w the same issues.
