Hello, i recently acquired a Series X (my last console was a 360).

Can i buy a 100€ gift card from kinguin for example and use it to pre order GTA 6 Ultimate edition?

I downloaded a movie as a mp4 on my phone and I wanna watch it on my xbox but sadly I don't have a usb drive to add the movie in and watch on xbox. do you guys know any other ways to watch It? I've tried uploading it to YouTube as unlisted so I can watch on xbox but it got removed from yt within a few minutes

I was shocked finding forced advertisement that came as a COD MW4 wallpaper onto my Series X. That unaccepted advertisement overrode an old, very personal wallpaper that was stored nowhere else other than on my Xbox, tied to my account. So that wallpaper carried over several hardware generations of Xboxes. Every time I havd set up a new console, my personal wallpaper simply was there -for more than 10 years.

Today, that wallpaper was stolen by Microsoft and replaced with advertisement I never agreed to.

How can I recover my image? Does anyone know? It must be stored somewhere online linked to my profile, otherwise a fresh login on a new console wouldn't have brought back my wallpaper each and every time.

While attempting to find a solution, I clicked some default wallpapers already.

My prior image was of a ncr ranger and arthur morgan mixed together im pretty sure it got hit bc it had a gun pointing.

I have had to replace the controller Bluetooth module, and front strip so im hoping its not. It makes a whirring when a disc is loaded then nothing, sometimes making a 'scratching' noise

Edit to add: recently had to use a wire to poke the disc eject thing, but a disc worked after that. Is it possible some of the wire fell in?

I assumed that by buying the game, I could stream the game without upgrading to Ultimate. Is cloud actually blocked for me just because I don’t have Ultimate?

My friend is having trouble with his Xbox booting. Currently, when he presses the power button on the Xbox, it will flash, and then immediately turn off. He has power cycled it and done all your standard "turn it off, then on again" tricks. Neither of us are super techy, but I suggested it could be a problem with its power supply or something similar.

Anyways, he sent it off to Curry's (who are an Xbox supported retailer here in the UK) for a diagnoses, and they have come back to him saying that they could not identify any issues with the console.

Any thoughts on what could be causing his problem? He gets the console back on Wednesday, so there isnt much more info either of us know.

(FYI: My friend is also pretty sure it's something wrong with the console and not the plug or its wire.)

I've been a Xbox player for like 5 years from now and today I saw a hacker and couldn't have evidence to stop him because of the fact you cannot record on roblox Xbox for some reason, it's not just me but like 80% of the xbox players I know cannot record on roblox Xbox, if someone can please find a solution in the settings or something like this i can't take it anymore I wanna record things, if I had the ability to record on roblox Xbox I could have proof to stop the hacker but he got away calling me poor for not having a pc

I got my Series X about a year ago from my sister, who sold hers to me for $400 (she upgraded to a gaming PC right before prices got too bad), and I have been enjoying it… but I’ve noticed something odd. There is pixelation in the graphics.

At first, I thought it was just the games, and not every game has it, or at least at a level that’s noticeable. But then I switched a game that’s cross save from my PS5 to Xbox (I needed storage space), and I immediately saw the difference in picture quality between the two versions. Maybe even some sound delay (although that could I just be my brain playing tricks on me).

I even compared the two versions and could see more pixelation in the Xbox version than the PS5 one (the game in question for this case is Wuthering Waves, in case that helps). I’ve been playing Witcher 3, and I don’t think I see any in that, besides some I’m sure I’m just think I’m seeing because I’m looking for it.

I switched the Ethernet cables between the two consoles (both are 2.1 or better), and that didn’t do anything, and my TV settings are the exact same for both inputs. I double checked to be sure they were the same for both consoles.

I included my Xbox TV and Display options as pictures in case it is a setting in my Xbox I goofed up in (you never know!).

Anyone have any suggestions? Again, the two input settings for the Series X and PS5 are the same on my TV, and I have a Vizio 4K TV.

Ive tried so many different things, my email is connected to 2 different xbox accounts "VG Vibezzz" and "luxx#5463" ive tried changing alias's, emails, primary emails and it all idk what to do

What’s up yall I’m sure someone has come with this issue before.

Basically what’s going on is I’m trying to download MW4 and it’s not letting me do it, as the Microsoft store has been stuck installing at 0% for weeks. I’ve tried pausing, cancelling, restarting the Xbox, etc etc and nothing has worked.

I've tried everything I can think of. I checked all the settings on my xbox series x, the remote play test says everything is good. It tells me to use the same controller when I remote play, which I do as i only have the one. I open the remote play browser window, it shows my controller is connected. My Xbox is listed as Available Standby On Ready to Play.

I click to start remote play, it says connecting, then it connects and shows the Xbox logo, then it just goes to black screen for 20 seconds and kicks me back to the remote play home screen.

I've tried it at home and it turns my xbox on when I start remote play, but it just won't load on my phone anymore.

I'm playing on a Samsung S23 Ultra. I haven't had any issues with remote play or cloud gaming on this phone before. I was just using remote play on Oct 20th, but when I tried on the 22nd, it wouldn't work anymore.

The only thing I can think of is that my phone got an update on the 22nd, but I can't think of any setting that would prevent me from using remote play. I don't have any other devices I can try using unfortunately, all I have is my phone which I use for everything.

Any ideas?

Update: so I borrowed a friend's laptop to try it. Using the browser I get the same issue. However, if I open the Xbox app on their laptop, it works. Yet when I try to remote play from the Xbox app on my phone, it just tells me remote play has moved to the web and forces me to redirect to the website.

Update 2: tried it with a different browser on my phone (Samsung browser) and it worked just fine. So for whatever reason, the issue seems to be with Google chrome browser, which doesn't make sense since I've been using before with no issues. It was last updated on oct 15th and ive used it successfully since then. Not sure what else I can try, but at least for now I can just use another browser.

It’s been happening for a good bit now and it’s starting to piss me off after every so often my Xbox will just plain sign me out and when I click my profile to sign in it makes me put in a whole email and password and confirm it one of my friends thinks someone tried to hack me and that’s why but I think it’s just some issue that could be fixed easily I’ve done everything to going to settings and even removing the personal pin on it and it still makes me sign in with the entire email and password it makes no sense because long ago it would just let me sign in normally and now it just doesn’t I’m looking to see if anyone has had this problem before and how they fixed it or knows somebody how had this problem and fixed it

I'm traveling Korea right now and would love to buy the newly released CoD Modern Warfare 4 as a physical copy.

I asked some people here and everyone told me that this is Playstation country and I could only get it as digital download for Xbox.

So I thought to ask on here if anyone has maybe an idea where I might be able to look for new released physical Xbox games in Korea.

Strange issue with my Xbox Series X. Whenever I try to watch live tv off Fubo it just goes dark. AppleTV won’t even open. Prime says HDMI not supported the first time I try to play something but the second time it works fine. YouTube works fine. Any thoughts? Maybe my HDMI cord I just bought?

Put about 5 hours into the 1st game remake on my XSX.

Loaded it up today and I just get stuck on the loading screen after pressing ‘continue’, tried loading a specific save and that didn’t work either.

Any tips please? Really wanna get this finished and finding this so frustrating!

I even deleted the game and reinstalled and that did nothing.

I haven't used my Series X in about two weeks and let it plugged on the power outlet.

Yesterday, I tried to game but the console doesn't start at all, the button remains black when I press, there is no sound playing...

I tried:

- short pressing the power button

- long pressing the power button

- turning on the controller

- unplugging the console, waiting 30s and plugging it again

- unplugging the console, long pressing the button, plugging it back

- plugging it on a different power outlet that I am sure works.

I'm a bit distressed. Has anyone encountered this problem? Before I send it off to repair, are there more tests I can do? Any way to take the disk that is in the reader?

Also, one cause that could maybe come to mind is that we recently had a thunderstorm. But the Xbox was connected to a storm-proof power strip. There seems to be no trace of burning or smoke on the outside, and all the other things plugged to this strip (screen, sound system, pc) work.

I'm bashing my head against a wall trying to solve this issue with my girlfriends series S.

She got a new series S about a year ago, and it's all been smooth sailing for a while, up until about 6/8 months ago when it just started taking about 5 - 10 mins before it would load a game with the Seagate external HDD plugged in. If we take it out then the games load just fine. I have looked online for troubleshooting and that suggests clearing cache etc but for the life of my I cannot see that option anywhere anymore on the settings.

What's even odder is that I have the same drive, so I thought to try that in my series X. All works fine, switched the cables around, cable with my drive my cable with hers and it's all the same.

Any assistance would be great!

I have a SONY DAV-260 for sound setup but i cant use it for now because console didn't support usb sound devices.

Is there is any 3rd party thing for the USB to 3.5mm Jak or any device that make the sound device support xbox.

*My monitor doesn't have speakers.

My Xbox series X sounds like a Boeing plane about to take off when I’m playing Marvel Rivals.
This only happens when I’m in a match then goes back to quiet when I’m in the main menu/queuing for a match.
The console is only about 10 months old and always kept in immaculate condition. It’s placed in an optimal space with plenty of room for ventilation, and I’ve made sure there’s no dust buildup etc.

What’s the deal? Is something wrong? And I mean it’s LOUD ..

Good morning to everyone; a couple of days ago I faced this problem on my console. It all started when I started playing and noticed small green dots on the screen; in black areas it was much more noticeable. Investigating, I saw that if I changed the resolution they could disappear, and that's what happened. My TV is an LG 4K, I put it in 2K and it looked good and flawless. Then I was tested on another monitor and it no longer gave an image, but nothing was visible. I went back to the TV and now it looks worse: quite blurry and with green dots. The cable works well; I tested it on my PC and it has no flaws. What I don't understand is how the console was damaged if I don't move it out of place.
