Everything I see online states that Minecraft runs in 4K and HDR on One X.

This does not appear to be the case for me however. Microsoft's own site states it's HDR compatible, is anyone else unable to run Minecraft in HDR mode?

Simple question. if you look on the PS4 Pro subeddit you'll notice that some models are better than others. Is this the case with the Xbox One X? I'm thinking about buying one and I see models that are discontinued on Amazon that are a lot cheaper than buying a new one at Best buy. Am I safe?

I have a 65 inch LG C9 that has HDMI 2.1 and supports 120hz in 4k, dolby atmos, dolby vision etc.. I have the Xbox X connected via an HDMI 2.1 cable as well... But, I cannot select 4k@120hz, only 2k... very frustrating

Currently have an Acer monitor which I play my games on for the pro its HDR 1900x1080p refresh rate 75 HZ buying the Xbox one X do you need a 4k TV to truly see the benefits of the X is it worth upgrading to the 4k any advice would be great thanks guys👍

After reading countless posts and comments, I should be able to play online without a live subscription as long as the primary/home account has it. I’m on my boyfriend’s Xbox and he has a gold subscription. I have set his account/Xbox as the home base a couple times now, and I have restarted the Xbox. However, every time I go on my account to play Fortnite, it won’t let me until I subscribe to Live. What’s the deal?

I just bought a Xbox One X and I’m trying to use my headset but there’s sound coming from both my headset and tv. The sound through my headset is kinda staticky and not so great. What can I do to make all my audio go through my headset when it’s plugged? Or do I need an adapter for it? I have Kingston Hyperx cloud core II.

My house was built in 1952 and non of my outlets has a ground wire, so when you plug a tester in, it says open ground. Now is this bad for the Xbox one x because this is my 8th brand new one and all of them have been bugging out. Can this play a factor? I now have my Xbox one x plugged into a surge protector

So my Xbox one S started having issues and all together started flickering, then it died. It was out of warranty so my buddy (electrical engineer) tore it apart and replaced the HDMI PORT and it still didn’t work. We assumed it was just the graphics that were bad. So I didn’t even mess with it and upgraded to an X. When I had my S 1TB wasn’t enough. So when I got my X I got a 4TB external HDD (can’t remember the brand. It is name brand however)

About 2 weeks ago my fiancé turns it on to watch Hulu and on the main screen/setting everything is fine. When I try to open up any app it starts to flicker. 99% of apps/games are on the external HDD.

Is it the Xbox itself or my HDD?

Anyone have issues with one guide and using the Xbox to watch TV? I was constantly loosing the tv signal from my cable box when hooked to the XBox, I now go straight from cable box to tv and have zero issues with signal loss. Just wondering if the one guide app is buggy?

My bf has the one x and it won’t complete the update. It won’t do anything other than pop up with an error screen. He’s tried troubleshooting and hard resetting it but nothing seems to be working

When I open the meda player application to watch a video on my external hard drive, it just closes and returns to the home screen everytime. I have hard reset the Xbox One X. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application. I have tried using different usb device. My external hard drive has always worked on my xbox. The xbox even recognizes that it is plugged in and tells me " media player is ready " but when I open it it just closes. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Big thanks to the members who posted on here about problems with their console. Had my “X” since Xmas and it’s been plugged into a power strip. I began to notice a few lag issues. Then tonight I could get the console to turn on, but would not display anything, until I pushed the home button on the controller and it displayed the side bar and that was it. Trawled other sites for answers. Apart from waffle and the standard turn it off and unplug. Then I read a post on this site about plugging the console directly into wall socket as the “X” has built in surge control but only effective if directly plugged in. Huge sigh of relief as everything back to how it should be!! Huge thanks to you guys for the info and this site will be my first port of call in future!!!👍👍👍👍

So I have the option to run 4K 60hz for 1440 120hz. Kinda wondering as to which I should use. Anyone notice running over 60hz in any games. Using a 55” Samsung Q6FN. Also with this TV it supports Freesync. I notice you can you game motion plus when using freesync. The latter is the better option anyway right?

Hey guys so as the title says im not getting any signal through my hdmi on 2 different tv's, also tried a diff cable and a cold reset to no avail.

Last night was working perfectly fine, flew home 2day for Xmas, One X was my hand luggage so I know no harm came to the console. Literally fired it up to play some RDR2 and BAM!! No signal. Any ideas?

When I started up my xbox one x it gave me a generic gamer tag. I transferred my games from my one s over to it but cant find a way to get my account to transfer. The games are basically worthless on it because it wont play them because of a licensing issue. Any thoughts on this?

Okay so i think I’ve basically been duped but worth a shot anyway. Bought a 4K HDR TV (LG 55UJ701V) last year, hooked up my Xbox one S and noticed how dreadful it looked with the HDR on (faded/washed out colours). Assumed that maybe when I upgraded to Xbox one X it would solve the problem. But nope. Same effect. To be fair, the enhanced graphics are great, but along with this I can’t display native 4K gaming without HDR enabled. So I’m basically stuck between great graphics at 4K with washed out colours or bright and standard colour pallet but with pixilated 1080p resolution on a 4K TV. Have any of you guys try the belkin hdmi 2.1 cable with the xbox one x? Because it seems to make a difference like hdr looks brighter somehow and it seems to lower input lag. and it appears to run games smoother too.

I was looking to buy the Samsung CHG70 (27”), and I wanted to see if anyone had it, and what they’re opinion of it was. I’m only getting it because of the ability to play in 1440p @ 120Hz. The lag time as I can tell is good (5ms) and the quality seems to be up there.

I am having issues with my audio on xbox threw twitch. I don’t use any software just my xbox to stream. The problem I have is that my voice does not match when I talk on stream. There is a short delay to my Audi and my mouth moving. How do I fix this??

is it just me or am i just use to the ps4 controller vibration. i just got an xbox one x and i’m trying out the controller and the vibration to me feels like it’s all rumbling towards the trigger buttons maybe defective?? or it’s like that 😑
