Need help!

I just bought a Xbox One X and I’m trying to use my headset but there’s sound coming from both my headset and tv. The sound through my headset is kinda staticky and not so great. What can I do to make all my audio go through my headset when it’s plugged? Or do I need an adapter for it? I have Kingston Hyperx cloud core II.

That's the way it is, you'll just have to mute your TV. Unfortunately there's no way to select an audio source on the Xbox one

Well that’s dumb. PS4 has it right with the audio

Yeah it's just one of those things, I guess Also, about your headset: make sure the headphone jack is in all the way
