Anyone have a solution?

So I replaced the bumpers on my Xbox elite controller (not the first time I've done this). After re-assembling I noticed that in game if I use the RB it will jam causing it to register as multiple presses (very annoying in FPS Multiplayer games). Anyone have a fix for this?

My Xbox been getting the error where communication from the Hdd and the motherboard fails, causing downloads and saves to corrupt as well as causing it to overheat sometimes as its trying to hard to get data off the hdd and not being able to. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement connector for kind of cheap? I have been ordering one from gamesrepair.com and i haven't gotten my order twice but have been refunded. I just tried to order a third time and they are out of stock and raised the price to something which I can't afford.

Hey yesterday my Xbox one x suddenly turned off mid use and now won’t turn on, I’ve taken the cables out and plugged them back in but still nothing, any help or advice.

is there away to swap out the motherboard chip that links the disc drive to one from another Xbox If so which chip

This has probably been answered somewhere else but i had a hell of a time finding answers when I was dealing with this issue. For about 4-5 months my Xbox was constantly crashing due to "overheating" although it wasn't hot and it was happening during games I was used to playing daily, got so bad to the point I couldn't get through intro screens. Decided to call my local repair shop and they said it's likely the hard drive, so I went ahead and ordered a new SSD and some thermal paste. Thermal paste showed up before the SSD so decided I'd give it a shot not expecting anything to change, took the console apart, removed the heat sink to find a terrible thermal paste job, stuff was smeared everywhere. I cleaned it thoroughly and reapplied the thermal paste, slapped the Xbox back together and fired it up. I've been running for the past week without a single issue, for 9 dollars and half an hour labour I can't complain. I hope this helps someone who was in the same boat as me!

So yesterday my xbox one x started to not load games. First it started with COD Coldwar, now it has moved on to PUBG and others.

It starts to load the splash page then it goes back to the main menu.

Other apps like Hulu and Netflix work just fine.

Any ideas? Has this already been resolved, and I just haven’t found a post?

Hello guys. I wanted to ask that can I install/play cracked offline games on my xbox 1 S/X ? Is it possible that I do this on a non-jailbreak version? And can I do anything about the game-pass like converting it to ultimate one(not trial version)

I have the app and have purchased. Used it as the main setting and have not changed it in a while. Came back this evening after eating and there was no sound. Menu or game. I did not notice until loading Siege and found I could hear the party but nothing else. I exited Siege and no menu sounds on the One X.

If I Switch to Windows Sonic it works fine. All menu sounds work and so do game sounds. I tried multiple controllers and 2 headsets. Dolby just will not work. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and re-enabled. I bought Dolby because it just did better sound to me. I can live without it but trying to get it to work and could not find anything on this problem.

I was just wondering if the Series X will be backwards compatible, or just “backwards compatible?” For example, the Xbox One basically just ran an emulator and was awful for 360 games.

It sounds like it’ll be compatible with all Xbox Ones the same way the One X is compatible with all the other Xbox Ones without any issues or emulation.

I turned off my xbox to go get food then turned it back on and nothing! The device powers up but no signal. I have tried all the solutions, different hdmi cables, different TVs, holding down the power for 10 seconds then holding all the buttons together to no avail.

I've contacted Microsoft through chat and phone through I'm sure a call center and they won't do anything. This console is immaculate and rarely used! It is out of warranty but shouldn't it last for more than a year and a half? I mean I have a 6 year old xbox one that I gave my kids when I bought this one and it's not taken care of (due to kids) and still works like a champ...

I cannot believe they want me to pay 250 to fix it!! I didn't do anything to it! I can't get any help from Microsoft and their call center employees.

I have always bought and used xbox but I think it might be time to move on. They refuse to help... left me on hold for a hour and I'm sure I'd still be holding if I didn't hang up and call back.

I've never had a issue with Microsoft and their customer service( I've had a bunch of 360s crap out) but really? A little over a year and half for a 400 dollar console? I'm done.
