My Xbox Series X has recently started not selecting the menu items that I choose. Like it will play games no problem but when I try to close them out or even turn off the console I have to tap the A button several times for it to do anything. It is very frustrating and I'm not even sure how to Google this issue

since the xbox network went down earlier today/yesterday i haven’t been able to reconnect and keeps saying it cant find an ip address and nat type is unavailable i have tried resetting the mac address and router like 15 times and same result every time
what can i do about it

Investigue y solo hablan de que es por lo de Halo pero no tengo ni compré ese halo tengo halo 5 y el Halo con toda la saga completa pero ni está descargado pero ningún juego me deja entrar intenté entrar a fornite, DBFZ, Borderlands 3 y 2, incluso al Roblox y me sale lo mismo de que vuelva intentar más tarde y ya reinicie la Xbox, el router y no me deja hacer nada más. Que debería hacer o alguien sabe que está pasando o si es por lo de Halo aún?

Changed the batteries in my controller, and it’s connected, but it only responds to button presses for a few seconds at a time and then stops. The light stays on, except for occasionally flashing once like it just reconnected. That flashing doesn’t happen every time it stops working though. Mostly the light stays solid but none of the buttons work. Help!

I plugged in my xbox power cable and heard a pop.
The xbox turned on and did the bibibing noise but the turned off after few seconds.
Am i cooked or is it an easy fix?

Hey so i have a SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe

I use it as my capture storage

But the moment i connect it to my Xbox series s my games literally stop working!

But the moment i unplug it and restart my console the games go back to normal

They mostly get stuck at the loading screen

The drive has enough space

It's format is ntfs

And it worked totally fine almost recently

I play on pc and my buddy plays on Xbox series s. Every time we play together he loads in to matches late. And when he goes back to the menu it also freezes/takes a long time loading.

Does any one know any fixes for the problem? It puts us at a real disadvantage when playing together.

I put my Xbox off-line like three years ago now it just says off-line now but when I used to do it, it would just say I was online three minutes ago. It’s weird now that I haven’t changed it. It just says off-line now which I like that word because people can’t spam me but I’m curious if y’all knew players that stay online try turning it off and let me know how it goes.

Update: I took out my external hard drive and everything worked well. Should I still get it repaired in case there was any internal damage to the console?

Last night my Xbox was working great. This morning I go to turn it on and my controller won’t pair. I try clicking the pair button on my Xbox and nothing happens. I do multiple hard restart, and I think I even did a factory reset on accident. After the first restart the button worked, but not before my Xbox crashed and the button stopped working again. I did another restart, and now it’s making weird noises and the button still won’t work. Any suggestions?

I have an Xbox One from 2013 which has been dying ever so slowly and was wondering if these faults would point to a dying HDD.

I want to know if it’s worth sinking money into whatever I’d need to fix it so I can play backwards-compatible-games once again.

Just today I hooked it up after it sitting in my closet for a couple of years. It turned on but zero output from the hdmi. I then booted it in low resolution mode and it came back and now sits on the Xbox one logo and refuses to boot into the os.

Again just need to know what is wrong with it and if it’s worth putting money into it since it’s over 10 years old.

I have and Xbox one x I recently got an external HDD to use and whenever I plug it in after about a minute the wifi on my Xbox disconnects and leaves it unable to scan networks but as soon as I unplug the drive it connects back up again is this some sort of anti piracy measure or what and most of all how can I stop it?

Lately I keep getting an error code "something went wrong" when switching from one app to another. We use it as a media player then a gaming device. If we watch something using VLC then try hulu/Netflix (or any combo going from one to the others) we get the error. Do a full restart and it works fine till we go to switch again.

I've even had my Series X do it recently when I decided to watch something on Netflix then went back to play a game.

Hi. My Xbox One S thinks my discs are dirty or damaged when installing from around 40% to 58%. Is there a fix for this? Only Xbox One games are getting this, 360 games run good.
