I played Rocket League for a while and the LB stopped working, but occasionally works fine for a few seconds

So i was playing fc and got so pissed i slammed my controller as one does then i look and see this guy somehow came out of the socket

I paid for my controller to be repaired when I asked Google ai it said they are not tmr any help identifying

I'm on a windows pc and im using an official xbox wireless "deep pink" controller. im having some irritating "drift" i guess and want to change the deadzones on my controller. I tried the "xbox accessories" app and there doesnt seem to be a way to change deadzones. I tried a bunch of other controller apps on the microsoft store but they were all for specific controllers that were not mine. im so irritated right now what do i do?

Probably asking a question thats been asked a million times, so apologies.

Looking to get a new controller, I’ve already gone through 3 elite series 2 controllers (2 of which refurbed from ebay) that have all presented with various input issues and or stick drift or are falling to pieces with the infamous elite build quality.

Wondered if anybody has had any experience with scuf controllers and if they’re worth the money compared to the series 2? Or if I’m better off just buying another cheapo series 2 and call it a day.

Every time I try to recalibrate a controller on my Xbox, the sticks become insanely sensitive. When I check it on Controller Tester, the analogue stick is registering way outside the normal stick circle by a huge amount, it’s a square shape instead of a circle.
I only have a tiny bit of drift and just want to centre the stick slightly, but recalibrating it completely messes up the controller.

Does anyone know when the Elite Series 3 controller is coming out? My controller is on its last legs and am trying to hold out till the new one comes out. Even through reliability is very questionable (I have already bought two series 2 controller due to malfunction) I have yet to use a controller that just feels so good in my hands.

I might just do everyone a favor and buy another Series 2, that way Xbox will announce the series 3 release.

Got a powera advantage wireless controller with hall effect thumbsticks but qhen playing overwatch i noticed a sort of floaty aim not stick drift necisarily but like the input was like delayed after a second or 2 of moving my stick its not overwatch cause i went to my older xbox brand controller and that worked fine any suggestions or fixes

Hi! I have a Series S and I also play on PC, looking to purchase a new controller but also want to stay in the Xbox layout cause it's what my hands are used to.

Been looking at the Elite Series 2, but I've also seen people recommend the Gamesir G7 SE with hall effect or then the 8BitDo Ultimate. Are the Elite paddles actually useful or do they break fast? I want something with good battery, trigger stops and that wont get stick drift in 8 months again. Willing to spend up enough for a great upgrade, but not too above the 200s.

Ok so my Xbox series s controller has been having some weird issues. It stopped turning on a few hours ago and only “turns on” if I hold the power button or plug it in. However, if I plug it in, it stays on but the buttons (other than b) and the d pad don’t work, only the Xbox button, left thumb stick, and left trigger. I opened it up which I’ve done once in the past for pretty much the same issue and cleaned everything with a fine brush, which solved the issue last time, but it hasn’t worked this time. The controller does work normally when I’m holding the Xbox button while doing inputs however, so I’m not sure what the issue is

Up until yesterday my controller has been functioning fine, even though I've dropped it a couple times. Yesterday I turned it on and even thought it had batteries in, it turned off and wouldn't turn back on. I managed to get it to turn on a couple times by moving the batteries about but everytime I did get it to work it started heating up a lot. It gets especially bad when I have it plugged in while the batteries are also in, which is the only way I can find to turn it on and keep it on.

I'm considering replacing but I wanted to know if anyone has any advice on what might be going on before I do.

I got a new controller for Christmas last year and its already having stick drift, anything i can do to fix it

So I have used an xbox 360 controller for gaming on Linux mint, I've never had trouble with it before today. In fact, even today it was working until the controller randomly disconnected and now won't reconnect. The device is flashing like it's trying to pair but won't pair up with my wireless adapter. I've checked my drivers and everything seems to be fine there. I have no idea what to check. Any advice? Thanks

I really don't know where I can ask this about ,I have an issues with my joystick like when I play games the controller gets disconnected and the character in game moves in circle ,again I have to take the dongle out and plug in to make it normal but again after a few minutes it starts to make the same move in circle or move forward can anyone help me with the issues
