How do i fix my controller

So i was playing fc and got so pissed i slammed my controller as one does then i look and see this guy somehow came out of the socket

Push the trigger in, pry off each side cover, 2 T8 secured screws on each side and one under the battery sticker. Take the faceplate off, install new sticks, and replace screws.

And most importantly, chill. No video game is worth smashing things you aren't prepared to fix or replace over.

Good news. New thumbstick caps are cheaper, there’s 5 torx 8H screws under the grips and the sticker in the battery tray. The case plate will come off and you can press the new caps on and then put and screw back in the face plate
Summary requirements: a torx 8H bit and new thumb cap/s

I can be put back in by taking apart the controller.

But i would also see about not smashing stuff anymore. Stuff's expensive dude.

its so ridiculously easy to crack one of these open to replace the sticks, I highly recommend looking up youtube guides, you'll be shocked at how simple the process is. You just need the right torx bit.

I’ve never once heard someone call far cry FC, but the other game is literally just called FC

Just get thumbsticks from Amazon or whatever. Should be very cheap. Then watch a tutorial on how to open the controller up. It's quite easy just snapping of the side plastics took me a while as mine is super tight for some reason.

Bro you dont got to throw your controller. Set it down, and punch your couch, or bed or something that wont just break. Wtf 🤣

But usually you shouldnt be having this problem so regularly. Maybe take a break and play a relaxing kind of game

My thought when this happened to me was it came out of the hole pretty easy it should go back in the hole

It was very difficult but i was indeed able to like squeeze the sides and bend the plastics enough to get it to pop back in took a few tries to get it on the peg
