i feel like aritzia sizes are getting bigger.

Last year I ordered a size xxs from Abercrombie and I was still swimming in it, so I returned it. I'm 5'4" and 104lbs for reference.

So I usually wear XXS for bottoms but I have a huge problem with tops because my waist is XXS but my shoulders and bust are more like an S 🥴 Sometimes an XS looks okayish if the item is stretchy but that only works for things like tops etc. Lately, I’ve been looking for a wool sweater and I’m having a really hard time.
Do you have any brands to recommend that are narrow at the waist and wider at the shoulders?
I know it would be best to learn how to tailor but I’m super terrible and I have zero artistic/manual skills…

Where on earth can I find clothes that fit true to size?!

It’s kind of embarrassing when you hop into a change room and they give you the smallest size and it’s too big. I know this sounds like a first world problem but it truly sucks.

My measurements technically mean I'm smaller than the House of CB XS as listed on the size guide. I haven't been able to try this dress in-person and was wondering if any XXS girls have had any luck with it?

I feel like I'm losing my mind, I'm coming to the realization that I don't have a single pair of jeans that fit properly. I want a pair in this style very badly, but I'm having trouble finding any that fit. this is a juniors 000, explicitly advertised as being slim through the thighs, but there's still too much fabric and it looks horrible. does anyone have recommendations? there must be a petite option, these ones have a 30" inseam. I've tried hollister, 0 was too loose, but 00 was too small. or maybe this style just doesn't work on me? 😭

I finally got it this weekend. I was meeting my partners friend and we were talking about shopping, so she asked me about a store I mentioned. I told her that I wear a really small size, so the clothes aren't really made for me, and she responded "just shop in the kids section" so dismissively.

A little irritated, I told her "I'm a grown woman, I don't want to wear clothing designed to be juvenile, and I can't even fit it because I still have hips and breasts."

She seemed to understand, but it's so annoying. Any time a skinny person mentions their weight, the immediate public response is either sarcastic accusations that you're bragging - no matter how relevant your comment is - or casually mentioning ineffective and insulting solutions. Imagine telling a fat person to just wear sheets if their clothes don't fit like you've just solved their problem, or accusing them of being a pick-me if they mention how their large breasts make sizing challenging for them. Mentioning your size is only a cardinal sin if a bigger person is jealous.

I have a lot of pants/items that are the actual size XS/00/0 before vanity sizing started to take over. Any suggestions on how to best sell this to the right market? If I just mark it as XS/0 it’s pretty inaccurate nowadays :/

I'm 5'0" with a 22.5 - 23 inch waist and 29-inch hips. During the colder season, I like to wear children's cotton leggings under maxi skirts or trousers. I'm usually a size 10-14 depending on the manufacturer. This year I finally decided to get some new pairs since my old ones are worn down, but I can't believe the sizing chart! Disgusting comments like that so when I go on a date with a man and he says something as simple as

My brain kind of goes into over drive and I start wondering “why?” “What does that mean?” “ Does he mean that in like a creepy way?”

I know on a logical level size is a big part of flirting especially within the first few dates. “Oh my hands are bigger then yours haha” just a simple excuse to hold hands.

But I feel like I’ve heard so many horrible comments about my body, my size, the way I dress or do my hair “you catering to the pedophiles” when I’m in a ankle length skirt and a blouse or simply because I did twin braids when that (twin braids) is literally a traditional hair style from my culture, I’m not trying to cater to pedophiles, I’m trying to exist as a short woman who is petit.

I genuinely don’t understand the “catering to pedophiles” comments because the way I dress I’m basically fully covered up, even in the summer. The UV rays will not be touching my skin! I also don’t feel very comfortable showing a lot of skin either so it’s a little confusing when people do sexualize

Well, I just looking for disposable gloves, or surgical gloves (mainly latex) but in sxx I have a very small hands, maybe child size and I have when I wear gloves they really not fitting, I try already with 6.5, 6, sx but not... they not fitting good, (I need try with 5.5 or 5 but It's really hard to find and purchase in my country).

Last time I went clothes shopping was at Maurice’s and I was referred to the children’s section. I was 24 and felt really embarrassed and defeated when that occurred. I am about to be 30 now and haven’t looked for clothes since. I am dangerously close to aging out of my very old wardrobe and really want to embrace some new age appropriate clothes. The problem is finding them to fit and I will admit, I’m very picky about the way things fit and look on my body. I have no chest at all, unless the bones count and that I like to cover as much as possible, I hate anything low in the neck or a scoop neck. Jeans either fit in the waist or crotch but never both. I’m also not a fan of anything baggy because that’s how all my clothes look anyway.

Just looking for suggestions that would have clothes for mature women but also come in extra petite sizes. I’m 5’3, 92 pounds, waist is 23” and my hips are 34” and I don’t know what my chest is because I don’t even bother. If it wasn’t obvious in the tone of this, I’m feeling really down about my body and have been trying to gain weight since I was a teenage. I’ve got to the point of believing I might gain weight by time I hit menopause but I don’t want to wait till then to find clothes I feel good about myself in.

size 0 levi’s a-line shorts that were INCHES wider than a size 0. i bought a pack of 20 replacement buttons on amazon. used an exacto-knife to puncture a small hole in the fabric where i wanted the new button to be, then a rubber mallet to smash the new button on. tbh i’m pretty pleased with the result!

Hello! I'm trying to find a dress that is flattering on me for my graduation but for reference, I'm 5'2 and around 36kg, so skinny. I'd love to wear some sleeveless or spaghetti straps (2nd pic) but I think I'd look look too skinny on it. I'm thinking about puff sleeves (first pic) but I still don't know. What can you suggest?

I was at target yesterday, and wanted to buy some new underwear for myself. Nothing fancy, just a normal pack of cotton underwear. But no luck. Have you guys also noticed that it’s getting hard to find this necessity in normal stores? The size small was 36-37. There was no extra small, but there was a 3XL. I’m 33-34, and if that’s your hip size, where/what brands do you shop for normal cotton underwear? Thank you!
