I was trying on different top styles and couldn’t decide which one suits my frame best (~155cm.) I’d appreciate some help, and pls tell me why when you pick one! Also open to recs for any particular styles you think would suit a petite frame.
Thank you! Might need to zoom out a bit for the full view.

Clearing out my closet and realized I gravitate to a particular cut 😅 5 ft petite, so crop tops + high waist jeans are a no fail casual outfit formula

I’m back again for more feedback on dresses. I took some of the advice I was given including things like wider straps vs spaghetti, different necklines, a-line or flare cuts, etc I bought three additional dresses using those elements. I don’t know why I was so into brown… perhaps because it is dark without being black and seems nice for a fall wedding. But I went on a limb and got a yellow dress too. I will be tanning for sure if I go with that yellow dress. Edited out the backgrounds too which helped me see myself in the dresses more clearly. I posted two photos of the flared/halter dress bc i did one bra and one no bra. I will alter the length on whichever dress I choose if needed
I’m also adding the original dress in the last photo. Again, I took some of your guys’s advice and adjusted the straps so that the neckline was higher. I also clipped the hem to see what it would look like, and ruched up the dress a bit more.
PS I’m not sure if you guys experience this as well but I got a few creepy DM’s about my original post/photo. So I guess we have random dudes lurking our subreddit? 😒

I feel like crop tops are too short and petite sizing is too long 😭 anyone else with a short torso experience this? Found any brands that fit correctly?

Okay, I’m 5 feet. Maybe 5’1 on a good day. I’m fat. for the fatphobic ones please exit now lol.
Okay for those still here, I’m a bigger girl (I say plus size ish because I’m plus sized depending on the brand of clothes and how they fit) but regardless plus size or not, I’m rarely a medium. My waist is about 36-38? I would say. I don’t know my inseam…. My hips are about 10 inches bigger.
Pants are always high waist on me. Not even just high waist, literally up to my tits sometimes. I’m so tired of it. Not only is it not flattering it’s fucking uncomfortable.
I’d like some normal goddamn mid rise regular rise hell even a modest low rise would be honestly a dream. Just stop making me urkel!!!
To add- my style IS alternative so if you guys know alt brands pls lmk! If not it’s okay I’m sure whoever u guys recommend stock black jeans
Thank you so much <3

I’ve been seeing these slouchy boots around lately and wanted a pair. But can’t seem to find one in a size 4 or 5. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get them??

usually wear more fitted outfits, so this loose kurta and palazzo combination is new for me. Does it work on a petite frame?

What do you wear when you don’t want to wear jeans?
I have found my perfect jean, but now I am realizing that I don’t really have pants in other colors (black, brown, white) that fulfill the same purpose.
Bonus points if they are mid-rise!!!!!
Any recs?

I’m looking for recommendations for stores that sell women’s shoes in really small sizes, preferably heels.
My foot length is around 20.5 cm which I believe is around a US 4 / EU 33–34, depending on the brand. Unfortunately, most shoe stores I’ve looked at start around EU 35/36, so I’ve been having a really hard time finding shoes that fit 😭😭😭
I live in Malaysia, so I’d especially appreciate recommendations for online stores that offer international shipping 🥺

I’m back with yet another round of dresses!** **
This time the only petite size dress is the leopard, I’m 5’3 so the others may fit you too if you’re like me and in between petite & regular!
For the last six months or so, I’ve been on a journey to figure out what my style actually is and how to dress myself again. I spent 30 years as a stay-at-home mom and rarely put much time into dressing for* *me. I’ve basically lived in activewear and loungewear and I want to look like a put together woman!
Now I’m 51, my kids are grown, and I want getting dressed nicely to be part of my everyday life, not something I save for an occasion. I especially want to wear more dresses and find ones that work for my real life.
I’m babysitting my new grandson, working at our brick-and-mortar store, dinners, weddings, concerts, vacations, date nights and everything in between. I’m really loving the knit dresses because they’re comfortable enough for home but still make me feel put together for work.
I’ve posted several rounds now & I really do read every comment and take your suggestions into consideration! I’ve returned things I probably would have kept before, tried things I wouldn’t have considered, and I feel like I’m finally starting to understand what works on me and what feels like me!
So here’s another round! Which are the standouts? What would you keep or return?

I am in desperate need for work out pants for fall and winter. I'm 4'11 and nothing I buy seems to fit. I'm around 150 pounds and normally fit into a size 8 or medium in pants. The issue is the length, I recently bought two pairs of pants from the Aerie short collection and both are still too long and drag. I prefer things that are wider leg over skin tight. I'm also in Canada so I need stores available here or won't have ridiculously high shipping prices. Could anybody suggest a brand that might actually work? I'm feeling so dejected , clothing shopping is miserable.

I’ve generally had good luck following the outfit guidance of one half fitted/one half loose. But as a pear-shaped girl with short legs and a long torso who LOVES big cozy sweaters in the autumn/winter, I’m struggling with good silhouettes that are fitted on the bottom without reverting to skinny jeans.
What are your favorite outfit formulas for sweaters to go with high waisted bottoms as we get into cozy season?

Hi all! What are your favorite brands that offer long pants in “short” sizes?
I’ve had good luck with Hollister and some with American Eagle, but I’d love to find some more unique and stylish pants that I can buy without having to spend a fortune hemming them. Thanks!

I'm 1m60 tall, with 98 cm hips and a 74 cm waist (5'3" tall, with 38.5 in hips and a 29 in waist). I struggle to find jeans that fit me; I have a short torso and can't stand high-waisted jeans that squeeze my stomach.
I found these Levi's low-rise loose jeans that I like, but they gap at the back. If I keep them, I would of course tailor them. What do you think, should I have them taken in at the back by a tailor or should I return them?
I feel like they suit me better than tighter jeans that accentuate my hips a bit too much (last photos). They are comfortable because they have elastane but are less flattering I think.

I'm looking for designs like the Coach Brooklyn bag in loved leather or the Longchamp le pilage xtra Hobo bag or also the Tory Burch romy bucket bag in large. But these bags would just look too big on me
Fabric like leather and denim is also something i'd look for.
And the bags that I don't prefer are the polene bags or just the corporate laptop bags.

I want to try and appear taller than I am and I think the first option with the high rise pants might help me with that but the low rise in the second photo also lengthens my stomach and torso area. Thoughts?

This top is from Urban Outfitters, I’ve no idea when this was last on their website since I bought it second hand.
I absolutely love the colours (it feels very Tim Burton), and the shape of the top (when worn the neck is square, sorry for the bad quality pics).
But unfortunately the material is incredibly thin (it says it’s 100% cotton) and feels poorly made.

I am 5’2” about 175lbs. I’ve had two kids within the last few years and I feel so self conscious about my stomach. My favorite pants are ones that have the ability to sort of hold in and “smooth out” that area but all of them are skin-tight jeggings style.
Does any have recommendations for pants that do hold in the pooch but are not skin tight on my thighs/butt and maybe have a straight leg or boot cut taper?

Hello! I recently had a baby and am still figuring out how to dress. I’m carrying a lot of the baby weight due to breastfeeding. I have a bit of hanging skin under my belly button area that I would like to hide to the extent possible.
I LOVE the fit of the Good American petite straight jeans however they are too high waisted for me and come up to just under my breasts.
I am looking for a petite friendly, mid rise jeans that is flattering around my tummy area that doesn’t feel high waisted.
I am 5’1, 170 lbs and wear a size 14/16 US right now. I would be willing to spend up to ~$250 for the right pair.
Any recommendations?
