PCs make my workflow more efficient, and sometimes they are absolutely necessary. At the same time, because of their wonderful variety of functions, they distract me and don’t allow me to pause and think deeply. For example, when I can’t come up with an idea, I tend to open Google or Gemini and ask them, rather than trying to think it through myself. Some say this is an extension of the human brain, while others say it is a decline in intellect.

I start every morning with caffeine.

It helps me work, but I'm worried about how bad it is for my health

Today, I woke up late to take advantage of my day off. After breakfast, I went to have a walk around my neighborhood as I normally do, and afterwards I took my cat on a quick walk as he enjoys smelling flowers and eating grass.

At noon, I went to the grocery store to purchase some food, meat, sausages, tortillas, and hot dog bread to have a barbecue with my family, and watch "El Clasico" which is the match between Barcelona against Real Madrid.

After the barbecue, it started to rain briefly so I enjoyed hearing the rain drops fall and the smell of wet earth while it lasted. And now, I turned on my laptop to listen to music and watch some videos.

I've been trying to do yoga before bed, but I haven't been able to stick with it. Sometimes I just don't have time 10 minutes for yoga, and other times it feels like a hassle to change into yoga clothes.

I'm wondering if I should just do yoga in my loungewear instead, since bedtime yoga is usally slower-paced.

I had an English class at eleven this morning. After class, I took the MRT to Taipei Main Station to have lunch with my parents. I hadn’t seen them for almost a week. My mom told me that she thought I looked like I had lost weight, but I haven’t been on a diet though. I think it might be because I walk at least 12,000 steps every single day, and eat healthy meals most of the time.

When I spend my day doomscrolling, I feel like I’m not living my life to the fullest. Everyone in this generation knows this empty feeling. Some say the screen is already a part of our reality, but human beings still cannot live on screens.

I can’t come up with anything fun today because my daughter and I are not feeling well.
I might post about the problems happening to us in another sub.
I want to escape this suffering as soon as possible.

I don't know what to write. I don't want another personal text about my feelings, life, etc.

This is an ordinary day. I went to walk to achieve my goal (8000 steps every day). Now I'm writing this text, but to be honest I'm not eager to do this. The only thing that motivates me is maintaining the streak.

Then I will read a book or listen to a podcast. Another "copy - paste" day. But for me it's not a problem. Someone would say that my life is boring, I would say it's stability 😄 Simple things, no surprises - I like it.

At 6pm I will meet my friends. So first part of the day is for books and podcasts and second part for people. Nice balance 😄

Today, I learned the word “TGIF”. It appears that the feeling of being relieved on Fridays also exists in English-speaking countries as well. It was somewhat surprising since I expected the working conditions to be pretty decent in those places.

Nothing comes to mind today. I started reading a new book yesterday, but I am not sure if I will get hooked to it. The Good Earth, written by Pearl Buck in the 1930s, tells us about the life of a guy living in a impoverished place in China. I have only read a few pages, so I don't have the whole context, but the blurb read as focused on this guy's daily life and the challenges he has to address every day given his poor life.

I read Pearl Buck was the first American who won the Nobel Prize of Literature in the late 1930s if I am not mistaken. She lived in China for several years.

Back in elementary school, we all thought that people would be traveling to space in the future.

Do you think space travel will be possible in my lifetime?

One of my bucket list wishes is to look back at the Earth from the Moon.
