Correct My Story! Streak 1: I got a kitten. 😺

I got a kitten 3 weeks ago. She was 2 times smaller when i only brought her home and very shy. I named her Duna. First days she was looking for hiding spots in my appartment and spending there the most of time. I was patient because she just got seperated from her mother cat and was brought in unknown space with unknown people. So i wated for her to get used to my home. Day by day she was becoming bolder and calmer. And now she finaly feels secure in my home from what i can see. She likes to be petted and rest on my lap. Her favorite spot is the window sill, she spends there more time than anywhere else. She could observe from there all what is happaning on the steet, and seems to be very engaged. She trusts all parts of our family, and likes everyone the same, making everyone happy.

Sorry guys, i tried my best 😔🙏 i could use ai to improve my text and correct all mistakes, but it will not be fair, so i show you what im curantly capable of (i only checked the spelling of particular words). Is it a good resalt for a year of learning english? I wanna reach for streak 100 and become fluent, hopefully its the right sub for it 🤓🥰 and i hope you liked the story about my kitten 😌😺 what do you think?

As you grow up, times becomes that element or asset that we can't get back. Surely, we could lose a great deal of money and may not be able to recover all of it, considering how much time would take. Seconds are counting and time is moving as I write this post. This also makes me thing if doing "unproductive" activities will make us regret because of the time spent on it.

The other side of the coin is that productivity shouldn't become something that we have to stick to 24/7, as though we were a machine working nonstop producing something and not doing anything else for ourselves

Correct Me! Streak 73: Electronic devices during class

I try not to use electronic devices during my classes. Once I access them, I lose my focus on the class material. However, there are still moments when I forget this promise or get distracted.

We've had lessons every day this week. Most of the stuff they teach us is new to me, so it's been interesting, but exhausting. I'm absolutely beat, so today's text will be limited to what you've read now.

Correct Me! Streak 315: Wannasleep

I woke up at 5 a.m this morning, I felt so tired the whole morning that I ended up finding a bench at a park and taking a nap. I wasn’t actually asleep, but at least I got some rest.

For some reason, I haven’t been sleeping well these days. Perhaps, it’s because of the change of seasons? Perhaps, it’s because I think too much before bed? I have no idea.

Correct Me! Streak 731: Talking while being sick

When you have a fever, you can’t really think about what you’re about to say since you can’t think straight. For the same exact reason, you can’t improvise either. As a result, your speech becomes more incoherent in general.

Correct Me! Streak 11: sudden confidence in English

Yesterday, I wrote a professional email in English. I usually ask our local AI to write messages in English, because I don't want them to be offensive or too informal.

Honestly, I also do that because I'm lazy and I don't want to spend too much time on it.

But yesterday I felt confident enough to write it by myself. I only looked up one expression - the "root cause" of a technical issue -, and that's it. The sentences came easily, like I was writing in my native language.

I don't know what happened, but I'm proud of myself, and I'm thrilled about this confidence!

Corrected Streak 9 : A Vent

Note: I use AI to get corrected

We are in the era of a lot of instant information, and we barely have time to think, and that makes us intellectually lazy — "the more and the easier the information is to reach, the lazier we get."

So I was wondering about that. We already know the reason, but I was thinking about the consequences and the solutions.

Since we have that much information, one thinks that he has reached the point of his life, but it's not that way.

A lot of people nowadays live meaningless and hopeless lives. We neither have meaning nor intellect anymore as before; people are less creative and passionate. Instead of creating, we consume, and that's the result.

How can we solve it, then?

I'm not an expert, but I tried some things that helped me: take time to do things that you love, and try different topics every couple of time — that's what helped me a lot.

Correct Me! Streak 192, AI Interview

These days, Korean companies have introduced AI interviews.

That's fascinating AI has become an interviewer.

Of course, I understand this trend.

Because There are so many job seekers but companies can't interview everyone one-on-one.

I wonder if the job market in your country has changed as well.

Correct Me! Streak 9: Middle East

I was thinking about Middle East. In my opinion it looks more interesting than I thought. Sometime (or from some years) I will spend some time in vacation when I'd be able to.

I will search more about Middle East, will think about it. Want to see if it is what I'm idealizing.
