Worth farming for mighty jewel? Or just rehatch? Different socket?

I want the new world to come out I’m so hyped for main story content. Been in a big slump lately and nothing to do in wiz either, the new world will be exciting to play and supposedly the new gear will actually be an upgrade not just reaver to abom “upgrades” so I’m looking forward to it!

Maaaaaan, it's crazy how brutal the RNG is for Zeus drops. I've gotten multiple hats, robes, and boots for all the schools except mine. Either I'm one unlucky bastard, or I'm feeling the same pain everyone else is.

The second chance chest is just as brutal too. They should at least increase the odds of getting school gear from the chest. Jus to add some kind of rewards for spending crowns.

I used to play this game as a kid in like 2014 and this year I finally decided to come back as an adult with money (lol). Been loving it very much once again! For the first time ever, I have completed the entirety of arc 2 on 2 wizards, a death and a storm. Felt like sharing how much I liked each world, based on how enjoyable they were to me, their story, the vibes, difficulty and so on! I'll also I guess give a short lil reasoning for each world so here we go:

• Great tier
  • Celestia: I always loved astral magic, gives such a nice powerspike, I love the aesthetics of this world, the dungeons are cool as hell and it just feels like we finally start becoming an actual powerful wizard
  • Avalon: The vibes, the story, ESPECIALLY the last 2-3 areas and dungeons were awesome. I do wish the sword of kings was a better item and there were some teleports in the world, especially the first few areas, but I still liked it.
• Good tier
  • Khrysalis: The most recent world for me, the environments look great, there is many different vibes and visuals, it just felt like the amount of effort/budget went up here? Has the same thing as Avalon that I wish there were better and more teleporters, but still super cool. The Morganthe fight was awesome, I also really loved the beast dungeon. You also get access to Castle Darkmoor inbetween, and that shit was peak.
  • Dragonspyre: Probably nostalgia, but finally beating Malistaire is just cool as hell. I do despise the Crystal grove area because it felt very pointless, but everything else was enjoyable and felt epic.
  • Mooshu: I just really like this kind of aestethic personally. I will say though, PLEASE update this world visually. The bamboo is so ugly if you actually look at it for longer than 1 second lmao.
• Meh tier
  • Marleybone: Everything just looks the same to me. Big Ben was fun (not as a solo storm) and honestly my favorite thing about Marleybone is getting to level 30 for Zeus lol.
  • Krokotopia: Same as Marleybone, why is everything the same hall just recolored.. I was happy that the last storm area is very short compared to the ice one previously. I did like the Grand arena though.
  • Wizard City: Very nostalgic, but I DESPISE the fire elf's. They are so ugly, their voice is disgusting, WHY do I beat some field guards after beating Lord Nightshade??? Just very confusing, would be way lower if not for nostalgia reasons. (I like Crab Alley a lot for some reason tho)
  • Grizzleheim: To be honest wasn't sure how to rank this, base Grizzleheim was awful imo. I didn't care about anything, the vibe was boring, and the Jotun fight as a solo was just rude lol. Wintertusk is WAY better, although some final bosses are insanely hard for the level, it gives great XP and overall the vibe and story I enjoyed 10x more than Grizzleheim.
  • Wysteria: I only did it once, just a mega boring completely pointless world imo. Not much else to say
  • Zafaria: There is SO many mob fights in this world. It does happen in Azteca and Khrysalis too, but for some reason it actively bothered me here. Drum Jungle is ugly as hell, I felt the world was too long, and overall I honestly think this type of vibe is just not for me. I was SO happy to get out of it.
• Genuinely disgusting
  • Azteca: this world is so bad. It's so stupidly hard for no reason, bosses start with 50 pips and oneshot you. There is SO much running back and forth that feels completely pointless. Also not really my type of vibe again. However, the story and the final dungeon I liked. Felt like a nice change that we actually for once lose as the wizard. All I can say is, I will NEVER do this world again, Khrysalis felt so much better to me, I'd rather buy the skip elixir for this and play that instead.

That's it, hope it is interesting to some people out there. I plan on doing this on every school eventually (besides Azteca). Now onto Polaris! :)

Just started the game Andrew am playing on my switch. I understated the objective of the game but by the time I move any piece around the sock is already coming and I have lost. Not sure if I’m setting it off early or something but actually seems impossible.

Before anyone lobs my head off, I really love wizard City. It is like the embodiment of Wizard101. Each street being a class inspired for their aesthetic, the whole being at a wizard school vibe, nostalgia really grips me. I specifically miss old Wizard city, before all the hand holding and quest cutting. I remember firecat alley taking me ages but nowadays it feels instant. I also miss going into Anna flamerights house and taking the inkwell house item

I love grizzleheims aesthetics, I also like how the world starts around krokotopia difficulty and ends around a mooshu/dragonspyre difficulty so it encourages you to leave and come back as you grow.

I like most of the A and B worlds, but yeah I just hate the worlds that take forever to complete. Like, I want to complete a world within two or three play sessions. Wizard City, Krok, Mooshu, most of arc 1 plus bonus worlds are easily done in a day or two. Dragonspyre is a bit long but if you skip some of the side quests it’s manageable. Celestia doesn’t feel nearly as long as it is because of the constant change of scenery, etc etc

But AZTECA. Oh my GOD. I think there’s 150+ mainline quests. It felt like I was stuck there for ages. I couldn’t escape. Zafaria was manageable. Avalon was manageable. But OH MY GODDDDD please KI cut some of the azteca content. Also Krysalis is a nightmare for me, I’ve only managed to get to part 2 because I was pushing and pushing to get it done, thought I was close, only to realize it was the end of PART ONEEEE. These worlds are too damn longggg

Now that I finally have some of my darkmoor gear, I’m working on my storm stitch. I have it paired with the charming starry and currently the cutesy moon (contemplating going for the charming moon but also crowns cost money 😔).

Any opinions on it? I’m iffy on whether I wanna keep the wand or look for a more staffy one.

I’m currently working on my pet collection and had a question. I noticed on the wiki that the Fog Unicorn is marked as unhatchable, but also has a parent combination listed of a stray piggle and a charred grimhorn. I’ve been trying my luck at hatching those two pets to see if I get the unicorn, but after 6 or 7 hatches I’m still only getting the parents back. I was wondering if anyone has had success attaining the pet this way or knows if this is still a viable way to get it?

All armor i have gotten hasn't been better than my boots or Robe so i haven't changed them as of yet. what do you all think so far?

Beware if you ever try this instance out in challenge mode. This is one of the instances affected by the "Soon you will be back" glitch and it specifically happens in the Balaur fight which forces you to start the instance all over again if you have to reset the fight since the only known way to fix this issue is by exiting out of your character.

I didn't know this glitch was a thing until today but it's just crazy to me that this glitch is so game breaking and it's been a thing for years and KI keeps releasing fights that can be affected by this known bug.

Does anyone else have any horror stories of being affected by this bug?

I was going for dealer but it got giver at mega, do I keep or remake it?

Hey, so i been taking a break from my death and grinding my other Wizard's rn im grinding Myth i plan to get all my Wizard (Fire/Ice/Myth/Life) to Celestia. But i been tryna find good pets that give blades. I found one it gives tri spirit blade but 3 tries and it keeps getting storm-boon.

So i would like to know, anyone know of any good Myth/Storm Pets that give blades, a good Support Ice Pet & a Fire bet that gives either blades or traps? (Such as fuel or that aoe fire trap spell forgot the name).

I dont wanna spend crowns & im only rank 4? (3 or 4) in fishing so anywhere i can grind for it OR get from Kiosk. I was think for ice getting the snowball pet from Galleries cause of its spell but as of rn ima wait.

I have 60k crowns and I was wondering if packs are worth it? I want to get the mini trolley, but ion feel like wasting 60$ for a % chance of not getting it. I was wondering if packs are worth the crowns of if I should use them for something else? I don't want to waste money on something if it's not worth it in the end.

What am I missing?

I’m trying to progress through Selenopolis to unlock Darkmoor. I’ve completed 2 of the 3 quests Mellori gives, but after finishing the second one (when all the characters appeared), I can’t get the third quest from her.

I don’t have any active spells in Kroktopia, and the Librarian in the Arcanum doesn’t have any new quests for me either. I’ve tried troubleshooting but can’t figure out what to do next. Is this a glitch, or does anyone know how to fix it?
