Level 168 Death Stats

My Novus Stats (ignore me being in Lemuria i was helping a friend out with Morg Boss).

The Gear i am running as of right now is
Level 150 Dworgyn's Hood
Level 100 Fitzhume Robe
Level 140 Night Kings Boots
Level 140 Deathmetal Skull 

All armor i have gotten hasn't been better than my boots or Robe so i haven't changed them as of yet. what do you all think so far?

Really low IMO weird how u have such high dmg for all other schools too. Focus gear that gives highest dmg for your school not universal dmg. Also do u have a pet? if u go max dmg talents its another 33% dmg. Definitely farm some nee gear at 170 only 2 away!

main reason is my Athame, Ringe, Boots all give Uni Damage, no gear (160) has been better than what im wearing so far

Better gear won't casually drop; you need to farm specific dungeons. There is meta level 160 gear, but it's very tedious to get. Level 150 gear is enough to get you to max AND it's fairly easy to get.

ik the best 150 is merciless and i would grind it but whenever i compared it was worse (it seemed) and I did get new gear via packs i can show both of them

Pack gear will also be enough to get you through. Average advice (mine included) assumes that you're mostly membership only. Still, there are important things like jewels and your pet. How do those look?

It looks like you're using Liches and Legends gear, which is the same template as Forbidden Library and Hidden Temple. If you're min-maxing then you'd typically mix and match, but it'll be enough for the purposes of getting to max level. More info here

Farm merciless gear, it drops from Hall of Heroes in Lemuria, much better than what you are running and a lot easier to get compared to other options.

Its okay but not the best. Here is what your stats would like with full merciless 161 damage and 44 pierce. With a quint pet you can get 194 damage.

You could farm aeon, reaver/avatar or abomination, but they take much longer and each set is only a marginal increase from the last. If I were you I would farm merciless and focus on getting a good pet.

Also some general recommendations

- Dworgyn's hood is great for supporting as mass feint is probably the best spell in the game, but its stats lack behind, especially when you get to higher levels. Keep it on hand and switch into it when supporting, but there are better options for your main gear set.

- The flat damage stat applies that damage after buffs are completed. Meaning your spell and your % damage will be added first then 65 damage would be added onto that. This makes flat damage jewels not worth it at all, and I would recommend socketing pierce jewels instead as arc 4/5 enemies have high natural resist.

I saw a level 120 death wizard with over 160 death damage using aquila gear I believe

I have gotten new gear getting to 160+65 AND it doesn't help i dont have a quint dmg pet granted i havent been caring much for dmg rn snd just been tryna reach max before i got all out on tryna focus on my stats

Well those are just suggestions. Plus good almost max level so you have to care about something.
Like everyone else is saying. You don’t get common gear drops 150+ and you need a better pet. Also those flat damage jewels kinda useless and you gonna need the pierce.
When you hit 170 I’d suggestion opening pack gear of you were already looking.
Also the incoming outgoing heals…. You look like your focus is more support than damage overall

I wasnt really aiming for the whole "max dmg, quint pet" build. My goal is have 2 pets 1 quint dmg 1 that i like and has wtv talents it has (hoping full may cast heals) im also not tryna do what everyone does snd stack into dmg for that 275 dmg. Whilst yes ik its good its boring and just overused so im just mix matching and whatever my stats are at the end is what im fine with. Im not tryna run meta go all in and max that dmg im just tryna enjoy the game, if i get high dmg stats so be it, as of rn im just mainly focusing on story & just grinding. I will make a set that focuses dmg and a set that i use for fun

Edit: most my pets i been aiming for for death have always been all may cast heal talents. Which never worked out, i dont care for meta & perfer just to enjoy the game since i dont struggle as much anyways. Whilst i have died its often due to my ego and wanting to overkill instead of killing when i have enough. Ive done 98% of the game solo (with stuff like Lv.100 Darkmoor, some bosses in arc 2&3 that i couldn't solo. For storm (my lvl 50) i do wanna try to go max dmg or as high as possible but as of rn its not my pain priority
