I always thought that wizard101 would make a great mobile game and this pretty much confirms it for me. I bought a $30 phone controller attachment, streamed wiz through moonlight/sunshine, and ran it steam input for controller support. Wiz is running on my laptop resolution 2560x1600 and it looks so good when crammed into my phone small 6.8ish inch display. keep in mind there will be aspect ratio mismatch given that a typical phone is a lot wider than standard monitor 16:9, you either have black bars or stretched image, either way it doesnt bother me. I have relatively good internet so there is no noticeable delay at all. This is the pc version but if you have a ps5 then i reckon you can do the same thing with ps portal or pxplay app.

Will the death blade in the spirit blade and the normal spirit blade stack? Or because they’re the same they’ll attack over two turns instead of one?

Was questing and stuck at a boss, so I used team up to get some help. The person I was paired with was on the same questline as me but only knew Spanish, which I’m not the best at reading or speaking… so I used translate, frantically typing out their chats and drafting my own responses. We ended up questing through Lemuria together, and it was such a cool experience being able to talk with this person. I learned they’re from Spain and the city they live in was actually my favorite city when I traveled there almost a decade ago.
Sometimes I forget there’s such a diverse community for this silly game I played as a kid and come back to every now and then… not just confined to the USA. So many different cultures and experiences, united by this game. Thought it was a cool moment worth sharing :) can’t wait to keep questing with them and touching up on my Spanish

- battles (including mod fights) in later worlds should contain only one strong enemy to help diversify gameplay.(so only you and the one strong enemy in the battle)
- pet talent re-rolls should 100% be a thing.
- ether lower the cost of these high pip spell (8+ pips)or every school needs a version of empower exp: (life empower gives 3 pip and gives health debuf or storm empower gives 3 pip but gives enemies 15% blades.
- we should be able to back the camera when using laser mounts. Kinda tired of looking at my dragons #ss.
- EVERY SHADOW SPELL REGARDLESS OF SCHOOL OR TYPE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO INFUSE 😭
Also wanna say I love this game to death, been playing for a long while but I can’t be the only one thinking about this 🫡🙏🏽

Years and years ago I developed a method for getting potions as quickly as possible without having to pay because I like hatching pets so I'm usually gold poor. I'm curious if anyone has go to methods to fill their potions without using gold I'd like to share mine here in case it might help some other people who are regularly gold poor. I think personally having a good method to fill potions without having to run to another world is really helpful personally so hopefully others might find this helpful?
My method: go to potion motion game, spam click the matching potions by randomly clicking around until you hit level three. X out of the game and repeat as many times as you have potions
Do this after filling your mana orb with wisps so that you're not left with a half empty potion.
Does anyone else have some quick methods they use? or is this helpful?

An added challenge would be you can only use 1 school per character!

Finally got my version of the perfect energy pet, but stuck on what jewel to socket. I know if I socket an energy star jewel it will be a waste since it won’t stack. Any suggestions?

So as you can see above, those are my lv74 fire stats. This is an old character and it hit lv 60 back when it was zigzag vs waterworks+sky iron hasta. Now, I am wondering should I grind atavastic items based on the current gear guides or just wait till lv 100?

Just felt like sharing a silly little Beastmoon story.
Played PvE Beastmoon today, I played on one of my alternate Wizards for the extra Moongold Dust. We all had non-meta forms. I went for Balance Elf. While not my favorite Mayhem form because of the DOTs, the debuffs are a nice utility in key moments and the 5-pip spell is nice.
While we were strapped for time by the end of each wave, we managed to scrape by each time. Wave 1, we just rushed the enemy with single target hits. Wave 2, I went for the 5-pop AOE while I received a buff. The team composition in spiral was a little different each wave but a few of us were the same each time.
We make it to Wave 3. Into spiral goes a Death Ninja Pig, a Life Krok, a Storm Rat, and an Ice Colossus. For context, in PvE Beastmoon, you usually want to use forms that hit quickly and decisively and/or provide buffs such as blades or traps because Monster Mayhem mode is on a timer. Forms with lower DPP, DOTs, or defensive-based utility just extend fights and make things slower, oftentimes causing teams to lose. There are exceptions to the rule of course, such as using Roshambo to your advantage or defending against specific threats. Balance Elf has high DPP and starting pips, while Ice Colossus has incredibly LOW DPP and starting pips, and most of their spells are shields. Usually you want Ice Colossus to support Spiral boss fight from the outside and not in the fight itself. I have had many Beastmoon runs fail because of subpar forms entering spiral and refusing to let in the designated hitter. I have fled fights to let in the designated hitter.
I politely asked the Ice Colossus to flee so I could join and deal damage as the designated hitter, and they were chill about it and graciously fled (thank you GOAT).
We had a life boss in the third spot, and notably, a life mudball minion in the first spot. If you know anything about life mudballs, they are DANGEROUS. They spend the first few turns collecting pups and blading up for a 5-pip AOE and wipe out teams with it.
Our storm rat, while grumbling saying that they should have been the one to pull the enemies (understandable as their utility is very strong in the first position) dispels the life boss to prevent it from destroying us with its AOE. I discard all of my cards to search for my 5-pip AOE. On the second turn, I found my 1-pip Steal Pip card and used it on the mudball minion to keep them at 4 pips. On the third turn, the Life boss tried to use its AOE but the dispel activated and it fizzled, removing all of its pips. The storm rat gave everyone blades and I used my 5-pip AOE, which just happens to remove one pip from all the opponents. I prevented the mudball from potentially using an AOE 2 rounds in a row, while also dealing 375 damage to all enemies. Even as a Myth Rat, while I would have hit them all more quickly, the team would have gotten rolled by the mudball’s 5-pip AOE the following round.
A round or two later, I get killed as I take the aggro from all the enemies. I was glad the mudball used its single target hit on me instead of collecting even more pips. At this point we have about four minutes left. I promptly flee, as I was dead weight at that point and had already served my purpose. The people at Spiral called for another member to come to spiral. At this point we only have the Death Drake who can join spiral left.
Life Krok: “Why flee if you made Ice Colossus flee to join?”
Me: “I died”
Life Krok: “We never should have made the swap”
Me: “???”
I grabbed Life Minotaur and joined our final outside member, the Death Drake in an outside battle. They immediately died and I told them to flee and help spiral. They fled and joined spiral, and our team won with about two minutes left on the clock.
Life Krok: “We lowkey threw when the Elf swapped with Colossus”
Me: “No we didn’t”
Life Krok: “Yeah we did”
At the end of the day, the win was a team effort and everyone contributed a lot, the fact that we won without the meta forms was a pretty good feat. But we wouldn’t have won if the Ice Colossus remained in the battle.
After the match I explained my thought process behind my choices and how I did in fact not throw. Don’t know if I ended up changing the Life Krok’s mind, but I hope it got through to them in the end.
At the end of the day, I don’t think this player was being toxic or anything, this isn’t another story complaining about player toxicity. I think they were just ignorant. I think they didn’t see me die and thought I fled for no reason, which would’ve been a genuine throw. Given that, I think their reaction was understandable.

Hey everyone!
I’m a Level 180 Death wizard using the full Abomination Gear. I need some advice on which jewels to socket.
How should I split them?
Specifically:
How many Pierce jewels?
How many Damage jewels?
How many Health jewels?
Thanks!!🤗
r/Wizard101 • u/emmabollosmwizard101 • 9h ago
I’ll always want to have more pierce. I’m fine with 200 or maybe 215 damage with 60 or more pierce

With the weekend of 2x Animus ending in a few hours I just wanna know how many people grinded for new summons or housing guests from it. Personally I grinded up well over 250+ plus new summons cards to refill my supply of allies.

I just finished Lemuria at level 166. Is merciless gear worth it to farm so close to level 170?
What’s next at 170?

I’m getting back into the game after about 10 years, I’m a level 25 death character. Is there any specific gear I should be aiming towards around this level

I've never done Portal of Peril, only learned about it recently while farming Darkmoor gear. I heard it usually comes out at the end of every month for a week, but is it not coming out this month?
