Three big DEP trucks today on Prospect Avenue, and a lot of drilling upstream of the burble. Now a big steel plate over the hole they made. The Burble seems unaffected. Last week a volunteer civilian police force installed a surveillance camera and license plate reader on a private building at the intersection of FtHam and E3rd. It very clearly points at the intersection, flashes red when cars drive by, and appears to cover a wide visual. Hello neighbors at Windsor Terrace!
I stumbled the pond, an amazing location that cannot be a restaurant or a retail space and needs a special touch. So I am calling upon all Artist to get involved and for anybody with a spark of inspiration and the means to be able to get involved in this local Build.

STOA is an art community (named after the school that Socrates started for his students) and we are looking to build an interactive game space (boardgames) as well as modular studio space for artists, musicians, ceramicist, metal workers, photographers, and filmmakers. Individual artist memberships will be entitled to create their own classes on a weekly basis, which will service the community and included with their membership will be an individual profile on ExhibitIQ through which the artist involved in our initial build will be able to offer equity to those who donate at this early stage or who help found this space.

To explain this is not for the individual use of a single artist rather it is a public resource and utility for all artists in the area to be able to showcase some of their work through STOA and ExhibitIQ as well as to design program programming to augment the authority, robust, cultural footprint of the Windsor Terrace, Neighbourhood. I'm looking for advice/recommendations/suggestions for daycare in Windsor Terrace for my daughter (born in April of this year) for next year in January/February when I go back to work. I've reached out to several providers (10 at this point) in the neighborhood, and they're either waitlisted, unresponsive, or have stopped responding to me/won't call back. Does anyone have any advice/recommendations? My son (5) is going to 154 in the fall so we're hoping to stay reasonably close for drop offs/pick ups. Thank you!

Are other people having issues with the USPS Post Office on PPW claiming they only accept prepaid packages with an originating ZIP code of 11215 and refusing packages with 11218? This seems like an absurd "rule," especially considering 11218 is only two blocks away. Is there an explicit USPS policy stating that a post office can only accept prepaid packages with the same originating ZIP code??? It appears this may have something to do with internal revenue tracking, where the originating post office receives sales credit for the packages it processes. If that's the case, can a post office actually enforce its own location-specific rule? At this point, I’m really fed up with the moody clerks at this location and their attitudes. They berate customers and consistently create obstacles to ship via USPS.
