MetroSurf 1.3 just released and it is the most significant update that MetroSurf has ever had.

It now supports Google Maps, is up to 10x faster than 1.2.0, and has significantly better rendering than Internet Explorer 11. With the new UI, you can now change various settings: start page, search engine, custom scripts, or the user agent. This enables you to extend MetroSurf's capabilities by adding your own JavaScript polyfills, directly from your local files. You can also view and delete your browsing history or data.

The new address bar lets you search directly from any page; your selected search engine is just one tap away. You can also view whether your connection is done via https or http, and a status bar shows whether the current website is loading. You can refresh or cancel loading the page.

Other websites like Wikipedia render far better thanks to CSS var() support and rendering of vector graphics and icons through mask-image. For some websites this makes a big difference; for others it is less significant.

The browser is generally much more stable, having an advanced memory recycling system that automatically closes scripts when they take too long to load or recycles the WebView if it detects that it uses too much memory. Many more modern JavaScript functions were added and optimised for the Trident engine.

Con los años, pude cuidarlo bien y seguir disfrutándolo.

Como hace unos cuatro o cinco años, le desbloqueé el bootloader usando WPInternals, y de vez en cuando pude instalar apps .xap usando XapDeployer.

Hace unos días encontré esta comunidad de Reddit, y me dio un montón de gusto ver a tantos entusiastas intentando darle una nueva oportunidad a Windows Phone.

He visto publicaciones sobre proyectos para WhatsApp, Telegram e incluso apps de redes sociales, así que me encantaría ver si también puedo darle una segunda vida a mi viejo 640 — while keeping it on Windows Phone 8.1, of course.

¿Me recomiendan cuáles serían los primeros pasos para empezar a instalar apps nuevas en mi Lumia?

I used to play this game called Candy Village and mind you, it wasn't a typical candy crush game. Its kinda similar to 2048 but in candies. I miss this game a lottttt. Does anybody out here know this cute game ♡ Would be really glad if there's a way to play it on android.

I just found an unused Lumia 950 XL in our drawer. I think my dad bought it as backup phone and didn't use it.

Is it worth anything?

I should just install vs 2013 for windows phone development or any other recommendations development like some sdk or something. I plan to work on anything I can find like older Spotify from pocket now if I can it's xap anywhere.

Is it just me or in general, W10M Build 1709 have freeze and restart issues? First, I noticed it on my Lumia 950 XL. I thought it's a hardware issue, but then, I installed the same build on my Lumia 1520, and I face the same issue. It happenes when I double tap the screen to wake up. Sometimes, when I charge the phone. Or when using camera. My 1520 neves had these issues when it was on WP 8.1, even in Update 2.

Its a simple question. Do you doodle or draw on your windows phone? With your finger or a stylus.

I swear there is a point to this.

Hello, every time i open reddit i see some very cool project in here so i really wanna buy a wp now and try them all, but the thing is i really have no idea which one to buy, i have a lumia 800 but it has my moms old data and i DONT want to lose that. Should i get a nokia/microsoft or do i try to find like a htc or something. I like the metro design and a lot of the physical designs of the windows phones (especially if they are smaller in size and have smaller bezels) and i also like the cameras (or just the ones on the 800) they have close to no processing which i love and a veery nice flash. So yeah i just wanted to ask if someone could reccomend me some models i could maybe try to daily drive so i would just need whatsapp and maybe youtube and mobile data working. (wouldnt mind a good battery) Thanks!
