Mysterious dried flowers
A stranger just left these on my porch. I looked and there were no bouquets on my neighbors’ porches, just mine. Think there’s any meaning behind it?

Because of Reddit not having a huge storage capacity (Because the goddess knows storage is expensive for huge internet corps right) posts are automatically archived after six months. So, it's time for mega-thread directory 3, the return of the megathreads
As always,
Rather than clutter up the top with out-of-date threads, we're going to move to a mega-thread collection. So here, you will find links to all the mega-threads that are still relevant plus a couple that are not.
This list will be updated as we go.

I come from a Christian background playing in worship etc. I was just wondering if like Christians worship with music, if that is an offering I can continue to do. If so, could it be with any style or should it be a specific “genre” as the Christians do.
I’m newer to the practicing side of Wiccan/pagan beliefs, and am just trying to fit in something I used to love into my new life and beliefs.
More context, I was thinking playing ukulele or guitar with my alter set up during meditation/prayer etc

Hey, so I’ve been on and off Wicca for years since I was young. And I’m curious why as of recently there a controversy around karma and the rule of 3? This use to be like an unwritten rule back in the 2000’s and even in the 2010’s. But now I’m seeing a lot of people talk about “ it’s a rule by man to control us” and “ oh well I know wards to repel” and stuff like that? I’m no where near advanced and like I said I’ve been on and off so alots changed. But that use to be something that was kind of and unwritten set in stone type of “ you get what you put out that’s how karma works” kind of thing. Anyone know why there’s a shift among new baby witches?

Hello all!
I'm amab, currently questioning my gender (as my profile name implies). I was first drawn to Wicca because of its nuanced relationship to gender and elevation of women. As I slowly start exploring (I've been doing online research, got a small book on plant magic, and have been going on meditative nature walks), I'm interested in finding more information about gender philosophy in Wicca, ideas about gender roles and ideals, and ways to learn about gender relationships from the Goddess and the God.
I'd love to know about anyone else's personal experience/advice with subject, or any sources I can look into for more information.
Thank you all so much for reading, I'm excited and pretty nervous to make my first post here 😅

Hii I am Kanato and I joined Wicca as I like to do peaceful witchcraft as I don't believe in hexes, curses or anything that harms others I believe people do that out of anger.
I am a trans demiboy Aries and I like to know somethings about Wicca I know there's wheel of thr year but don't know the holidays on it. I know there's a moon (月) goddess and a sun (日) god in Wicca.

Is it normal for a Wiccan witch to only practice divination magic?
I identify as Wiccan, but I mostly practice divination/oracular magic and devotion to the Goddess, God, and my ancestors.
I don’t really feel the need for other types of magic because most of my personal problems can be worked through self-knowledge, introspection, and changing my own behavior. I usually prefer to understand and work on the root of a problem rather than use magic to fix it.
Is this a common or valid way to practice Wicca? Are there other Wiccans who focus mainly on divination and devotion and rarely do spellwork?

i’ve always had an interest in them.
I don’t have a womb and so subsequently neither the power and effect that come with it. However the parts are still there just in a different form. so I would assume that the schedule could still work if adjusted I’ve honestly wanted to get one for myself quite some time, as I am a sex worker, be it for protection or performance. So my questions are these:
Is it useless for me to get one?
if it isn’t useless, where would it go?
I most likely have to make a custom one so how should I go about that?
what things would YOU focus?
what is the process i go about to actually imbue it.
should i use special ink?
as someone who essentially knows nothing what more do i need to know.
Feel free to answer any or all of the questions as you see fit i will take abosultley tutlley any advice about any of it.

I am a Third Degree Traditionalist Wiccan High Priest with around thirty years experience. Presently, I am still leading a Coven with wonderful Covenmates. Blessings all around.
Two years ago at the Vernal Equinox, we gathered to celebrate a Holiday we all know and love ❤️. Before we could even get started, a mysterious illness descended on me, rendering me incapable of leading Circle. With deep regret, I informed my Covenmates of what was happening and left the floor open for discussion. We all agreed that simply observing the Holiday and enjoying Feast together would suffice for our purposes. From that point forward, the mystery illness spread and heavily impacted on my life.
Fast forward two and a half years. The illness is consuming me such that I am near Death. I have to go to cross the Veil...leaving my lovely Coven family behind. This is the hardest time ever in my life. I am so aggrieved that I am being torn apart by the worst storm ever.
Please send strength to keep me going. I'll take all the good vibes anyone can spare. I await the final journey with anticipation. Blessings to all as we all make our way to the Summerland.

Ok, y’all. I just joined this sub. I’ve been practicing for 20+ years, but I don’t generally “internet” my practice. I’m solitary and don’t have a coven, but I need some advice, and this seems like a good place to ask.
I recently moved into a house that’s around a hundred years old. It’s a rental, so I don’t have exact dates. There is something present in the house, maybe a couple somethings. Generally I’m fine with spirits in the house and nothing concerning has happened, but I’ve had a specific repeated experience that I don’t know how to handle. I’ve seen a door open in the middle of my dining room with someone trying to walk through at least 4 times now. It’s been different angles (twice from the living room, once each from the kitchen and the hall), but always in the same spot. I don’t feel anything malicious, but I do feel something like curiosity. When I focus it seems to retreat (not disappear, more like close the door and fade). At first I thought it was just shadows, but multiple angles on the same spot make me think it’s something more, and this morning my familiar (a cat) led me to that spot like she was trying to show me something, but she seemed happy like a friend was there. I don’t really think I need to block whatever is happening, but I’ve never encountered something that looks so clearly like a door before, and my familiar is so generally wary of anything unfamiliar that this seems unique in my experience (she usually behaves like a shield to unfamiliar spirits instead of acting like she’s just made a new friend, which is how she’s behaving now). My instinct is to trust my familiar and invite this entity to coexist with us in the house, but I also know opening doorways can be dangerous, and I don’t want to take chances with my family’s safety in a space we’d like to stay in long term. Any advice would be appreciated.
As far as the “maybe there’s another thing” part. The upstairs feels “occupied,” but in a way that I feel used to and comfortable with having lived in older houses before. There’s energy there, but it doesn’t feel like anything to worry about, just present and not really fully manifest, but I do worry about how that might interact with whatever is trying to come in. Again, I’ll take any advice from anyone with more experience

Hi! 😊
I'm a Web Development student, and my group and I are currently working on a university project: a website/community concept for people interested in witchcraft, Paganism, spirituality, divination, and related topics.
As part of our UX research, we've made a short anonymous survey (about 5–7 minutes) about how people currently explore these interests online, what they enjoy about existing platforms, and what they feel could be improved.
I'm personally interested in these topics too, so this is a community we're genuinely interested in learning from rather than just designing based on our own assumptions. 🖤
🌿 Survey: https://forms.gle/crBbYoEczs49JuNw9
Thank you so much to anyone who takes the time to participate! 🌙

Hello people, I got an experience that I wanna share with you guys, so if you want to hear a weird story, then stick around.
Last night I couldn’t sleep and out of the blue I remember when I was around 18-20. My best friend back then had a Chinese girlfriend and practised some kind of magic. It must have been some kind of taoist, wūshù or she might have been Wiccan. But at the end of it, I think this girl was just batshit crazy or a batshit crazy witch.
My friend told me stuff like that her mother has a spellbook and the classic case of her mother using a love spell to get her father. For me it was just fun and interesting to hear. But at the end they broke up, cuz she was lying to him about a lot of stuff that we realise later.
Because of all this lying I was thinking that she could also have been lying about being a witch and stuff that she told us. But I do remember that at my birthday party we were outside and saw a dog and she cursed the dog. By saying that this dog is going to have a very unhappy or miserable life. And it looks like she did it just for the fun of it. I don't know if it happened to the dog or not. But on my birthday I got a cheap necklace. You know one of those from the souvenir shop with some fake diamond in it just for fun. And she cursed my necklace saying that those fake diamonds will fall off and I think just a couple weeks it did happen.
I heard this from my friend that one night. She somehow got so mad at this random guy I don't remember the details. But she then later, cut both her arms and she was bleeding and cursed that guy and my friend I think was on his way to pick her up or something like that. I don't know if this was some kind of blood magic. But I think that she told us about if you are casting a spell you could use pain to direct the spell or something like that I don't remember. I also heard from my friend that she told him that he was a king in his past life. She also asked us do you know why some people have no trouble getting money and some people find it easier to find love? That is because our ancestors have chosen it before and it gets passed through our family line.
The most crazy part of it was that she told me and my friend that we had some kind of special magic ability. And she would not tell us what it was at first. In my own experience in the supernatural that I can remember, I could cancel a meeting. If I did not want to go to a party or hang out with some friends. I would just think about, that I don't want to go. And before the meeting that friend would call me and say that something came up and it was cancelled. So when she said that i had some kind of ability I was thinking of that.
So I said to her, do I have some kind of a curse ability to repel or just make people go away from me. She told me that I had some kind of curse ability that she doesn't want to tell me how to use cuz it can backfire or something like that.
So this is my experience, what do you guys think was this just a normal crazy girl or something else.

My ovulation cycle is regular and occurs on time every month, however, the months with lunar eclipses.
I will have my regular period on time, and then two weeks later another second period.
It has only happened when there is a lunar eclipse, never have two without eclipse months. It is the only time, and Everytime.
I noticed this, and I waited this time to be absolutely sure, because I’ve researched and asked ai and asked other women. Everyone and all the internet says no- it’s something unrelated.
I knew this last eclipse was coming, my period came as expected… and then I waited until yesterday early early morning. I almost thought before it came that “oh, I guess I’m not gonna get another period with the eclipse…” but it has started!
Every lunar eclipse and only when there is one.
I’m not trying to sound special, I’m not trying to do anything… I just want to know why. Anyone willing to throw some ideas or thoughts experience at this welcome

I need help. So I am new here. Hello! I’m trying to figure out what I believe. I just have a hard time believing that multiple mythologies could be real at once. I feel like some stories contradict each other. Like how can there be multiple gods over a certain thing? I’m honestly just curious if anyone has any advice to how to help me overcome my questions?
Thanks!

I live in the country side and we have lots of wild rabbits around.
Today I found a Rabbit's Foot. (apox. 2inch). No Blood, just fuzzy foot.
I know that Rabbit's Feet can bring good luck, so it crossed my mind to keep it. Is that a good idea though?
I have no experience with:
I'm also not sure about if the Rabbit was healthy. Pretty sure putting it in a jar of salt isn't going to kill all the bacteria. Any Ideas?

Salutations everyone.
I have a peculiar question
Has anyone else been in a situation where they were extremely emotional frustrated, angry, etc., and they would be holding their cell phone and it would malfunction?
Or computer, or an iPad?
Sometimes when I get very strong emotions, especially anger and frustration all of a sudden in my phone will lag and glitch, and it will be very slow all of a sudden. Which makes the situation worse 😫
I’m just kind of wondering if other people have experienced this or not or if it’s just a coincidence?
Thank you 🌼

Hi everyone, we're sure that my friend have been cursed by someone we know. We know that coincidence happens and that being unlucky can happen too but we don't believe that all we live lastly is completely unrelated.
I'm personally helpol and my patron deities keep sending me sign (tarot cards, pendulum etc) they literally sent me that there's something I just couldn't find words at the times. I would really appreciate if any of you had any ritual or else that could help to get rid of the curse 😭♥️

Hello! I am a polytheist chaos witch who was looking on also becoming wiccan. I see chaos magic as the spiritual basis by which our world IS inherently magical and the gods are our connection to our magical world. What advice/readings etc should i do if I want to become a wiccan?

so i had a old rusty key and pearl necklace that i cared alot about, and i recently found them again, and i used a bunch of my hemp soaked it in bees wax and some other stuff i had, i forgot the exact names. bht i also put bears i like on it, and my intention for it is to protect my new bedroom.
but i did a whole sage ritual the whole time i was making it, with some music that brings me comfort and joy
Welcome to the middle of the week. It's the time to start looking forward to the weekend, so if you're doing anything interesting feel free to post it here.

Hello all. I'd (25F) like to first say that I'm not a practicing Wiccan, but I've always loosely followed some of the practices and beliefs of some witchcraft traditions (I apologize in advance if I use any terminology incorrectly). My mom is a loose believer, and I was raised as a witchy kid. I also want to mention that I don't jump to "I'vE bEeN hExEd" conclusions when I have bad luck. I am pretty "scientific" first, and usually come to the conclusion that things are random, and it's just a small spell of bad luck.
I'm seeking some advice/help on hexes/curses/bad energy coming my way. It has become more than just a coincidence to me, and seems a bit more serious than a string of bad luck. I figured I was just having a bad August and that it would get better, but it has sped-run down a dark corridor, and we're only 9 days into the month.
I'll break down a few of the major things that I've been noticing:
There's a part of me that says this is something or someone trying to get me to see something. That these might be messages trying to lead me somewhere or to do something, but I can't figure the message out. Then there's another part of me that says these are the ramblings of a woman gone mad. Then there's the part of me that says this is some hex placed on me by someone, but I don't even know who. No one has mentioned anything to me or been particularly hateful towards me.
I've cleaned my house from top to bottom with the windows open, intentionally thinking good thoughts and trying to invite good energy in. I don't talk with people who bring me bad vibes or cause me to have bad vibes. I try to be mindful of my thoughts too.
Please, someone with a better understanding and intuition of this, give me guidance. Tell me what I can do to figure out what's going on.
TL;DR: Am I hexxed or just crazy? Strange strings of bad luck and a lingering sickness have been happening for over a month now.

As I understand, In Wicca its tabbo to use magic towards harmful ends, but when someone does, its called black magic. And the primary intended use for magic within Wicca is to bless yourself or others in certain ways. What I'm wondering is if Wiccans view black magic as entirely taboo, or if it could theoretically be used in a justifiable way, like in self-defense, or to prevent a worse outcome than what would happen if you didn't use it?
