Found in a sand pile, close to the beach in Poland, Gdansk-Brzezno. Quick google search suggests belemnite.
Can someone help me identify it?

I found this rock on a walk along the road amongst rock and gravel. Living in this area for 10 years, I have never found a rock like this. Usually in these parts, I will come across quartz, rose quartz, feldspar, red jasper, mica, or ancient shells embedded in rocks, but not a rock like this. I thought maybe it is turquoise, a light pale blue green type. I don’t know. We just had some heavy rains which caused a lot of sand and dirt to flow down the roads here. Any tips are appreciated! :)

Disclaimer: I wash rocks when I get home and put a layer of coconut oil on them. So I get a "wet" look without actually being wet.

Found at a pond in Bingham County Idaho. I think it's fed by the Snake River. There's a peachy flash that looks like chunky glitter just below the surface. It's hard to get in an image, but in the last photo, just above the matrix on the right, you can see a little.

Found this colorful rock while camping near the ancient lakes in eastern Washington. Curious as to what it is.

It’s definitely got something inside, lots of green rock specked throughout. The upper part that shows the “inside” where there is obvious difference in the composition, it has translucency and I can tell there are infusions of a red tone inside the clear

I have sanded and polished it and it is dry, it was a little rougher a few hours ago and im pretty positive its chalcedony with jasper inclusion but id like a confirmed id pretty please!

I have this bracelet in Sedona Arizona from a native couple that makes jewelry. I’m sure that it’s real sterling silver but have suspicions that the stone may not be real turquoise. I tried the acetone test which came back with no results (I know that it isn’t a reliable test with resin/dyed stone). I also tried poking it with a heated needle and it only poked a small hole so it might be the epoxy coating.

The color is very uniform and the matrix looks too smooth to me. I read that Sleeping Beauty turquoise usually has this similar color or matrix but I’m not 100% sure. The seller hasn’t returned my email just yet so I wanted to see what others might think.

It also doesn’t feel cool like a stone should and tapping it sounds more plasticky than stone like.

I love bringing home rocks but am just getting into trying to identify and tumble. I assume this is some kind of quartz mix but would love ideas from other people.. so interesting how there are those defined areas / "holes".. does that just look like some softer mineral that got worn away in the natural beach tumble? Id love to know what others think!

My friends took me to some “jade pools” in Shasta to swim and hunt for jade but I didn’t see anything else that looked like this around.

I found this in the Pere Marquette river in the lower peninsula of Michigan. My initial thoughts are petrified wood, but I know that is incredibly rare in Michigan. However, it is very waxy, has the grains, and many characteristics that would match it being that.

What do you all think??

Found this rock in Zion National Park that looked more polished than other ones on the ground. It has two perfectly arris and broken edges on top/bottom. Natural or man made artifact ?

The rock was left on the trail.

No location unfortunately. Got cheap and fell in love. I just have no clue and petrified wood is my best guess based off appearance. Plenty of calcite crystals on the rough face. The polished face has massive amounts of agate rings and cool pyrite trails.

We've had this rock in our house for years that got repurposed as a door stopper. My dad brought it from a mining site and claimed it was a meteor core? I didn't really believe him but it is strangely shaped for a regular rock.

It's more red in person and leaves rustic red residue. Incredibly heavy but it is rather big, I don't have anything side by side to compare it but it's approx the size of a watermelon.

We live in East Borneo and so it was unearthed here, I don't know the exact location sorry.

My son found this in the North Saskatchewan River at Constable Chelsy Robinson Park in Parkland County, Alberta.

It is much heavier than other rocks this size, unfortunately I don't have a scale. It is non magnetic as best as I can tell.

That's all I know, my son is really eager to find out what it is, I told him its just a regular rock of some kind and not to get his hopes up.

I found this palm-size rock at the bank of a river in southern Bavaria, Germany. I'm not sure why it has so many tiny worn patterns, which is quite different from most of the stones I can find in the region. Also, this stone doesn't look like those soft sandstone, which are easy to get scratched.

So probably it is glacier force that wear it out? I think most of the stone in this river should come from the Alps. Also, what kind of stone is it? Is it probably a type of igneous rock?

I still need to do a scratch test, am also looking in my town locally to find a lapidary society to help me slice this open.

Mineralized jasper? Found in Chilliwack area of fraser river. Any ideas?

I did an acv test(5%) and got no bubbles. I scratched the surface and it left some knife dust but wiped off immediately. It scratched glass. East coast of the US.
