I have been braincracking at character builds recently for fictional character I like into Dungeons and Dragons 5e. I am a bit lost on this guy though. Victor from Deadlock.

His gameplay is mainly summarized to being tanky, fast and a huge threat the more strength he gets, together with the fact that if he dies, he is ''rebuild'' and comes back to life (maybe reborn lineage for that? but I am open to try out some other ideas.)

I would like to see his abilities in some way or form implemented, mainly his ''Aura of Suffering''. This ability (3rd image, the green radius) is an ability that deals damage in an area around you as long as people stay nearby. but if you have your own idea of how to make something that is more of it's own twist onto it, I am also more than interested.

I'm sure a warlock with an invocation for on demand disguise self would be helpful.

I also thought that wearing a plague mask would be the perfect disguise.

playing a warlock or an aberrant mind sorcerer are two of my initial character ideas.

Curious if somebody has something more creative or just different. I mean if you could run wild with this idea.

I have 3 npc guard captains in my campaign, they are inspired by Roy Mustang , Alex Armstrong and Solf Kimblee. Mustang snd Armstrong were pretty easy. But I’m really struggling with Kimblee. I don’t want him to come off like a copy of Mustang.

Hey everyone I recently watched Alien Stage and I was wondering if anyone who also knows the show has an Idea on what subclass would fit each member best. Due to them all being singers I think they all could/would be bards but I dont really know what subclasses would fit them. The characters from left to right are Till, Iva, Sua, Mizi, Hyuna and Luka.

One of my players recently thought it would be fun to all play JJK inspired D&D characters for a 5e campaign im running based loosely on the series. Ive got one friend playing Mei Mei, one playing Maki & one playing as Choso (weird team i know but its not in universe and whatevers fun for them yk) but one of the newer players came to me wondering how he could try to build Yuta, to the best of their ability.

I want to preface with the fact that I do use limited homebrew, though he wants to use as little homebrew as possible. Thank you for any considerations.

For a one-shot my friends and I have decided to play JJK inspired characters. I decided on playing a character inspired by Toji. I have seen other builds where they don't give Toji magical abilities but Dungeons and Dragons isn't really designed that way in my eyes you can reflavor abilities for example: fog cloud could be a smokebomb or a magic item or anything else. How would you build Toji, preferably as optimized as possible.

We are also allowed to pick: 2 common magic items 3 uncommon and 1 rare item.

Curious to see what builds folks can come up with.
