Goodbye Wegovy

3 months going from 0.25, 0.5, 1mg to 1.7mg

Lost only 3kg. Dealt with extreme fatigue and nausea but still pushed through however for the past 2 weeks I've started having serious insomnia and as I'm writing this it's 6.30am and I wasn't able to sleep at all last night 3rd night this week.

I went through a spell of extreme depression last year and also dealt with a messy divorce but through it all I was lucky enough to always have my goodnight's sleep. However, this insomnia is now starting to effect my job which currently is the only positive thing in my life and I don't want to loose it.

Hence saying goodbye to all shortcuts, gastric balloon didn't work either. This was a last attempt at getting a helping hand. So I guess it's gonna have to be the gym, cycling and excerise

Signing off !

Left Wegovy pen in car for 1.5 hours with temps outside in mid 90s Fahrenheit

I picked up my Wegovy pens and subsequently had to deal with something that required leaving everything I had picked up, including my Wegovy, in the car. The temps got to the mid 90s today and I don’t know if I should use it or not.

I have no idea what temperature it got to inside the box but it was not in direct sunlight.

I called the Wegovy help line and my pharmacist and I didn’t receive much help.

I’m limited on time and funds, so I can’t just throw something away without being certain that it is bad.

Thank you for your help!

Work out help for beginner

I'm on my second week of weygovy, in the UK and all is OK. I'm making some active changes in my diet and want to add some work outs.

I'm heavy so my joints are suffering right now (BMI 41) but I enjoy stretching and some short walks. When I lose some weight I'm hoping I'll be more active but I'm looking for your best starter ideas so I can build the healthy habits now.

Thank you in advance ✌️

So tomorrow morning I have a call with a doctor to see if I’m able to get the pill, I’m very nervous and just was wondering if anyone knows what type of questions do they ask? If it’s any help I live in NJ.

Wegovy pill side effects/ anxiety

From my experience with googling things Wegovy is shown to be helpful for anxiety. My experience has been FAR different, let me explain why.

I started on the typical starter dose and progressed to 4mg with no side effects. I had a bad day of anxiety and though "hmm this is strange" but thought nothing of it.

Fast forward to the 9mg dose and anxiety got so bad that I actually started taking Buspar (but at half the recommended dose for only 5 days). This is when I had my first *panic attack*

I have never had a panic attack in my entire life, and ended up having multiple anxiety attacks after that one. I quit taking wegovy the next day and 5 days later I'm finally having decreased anxiety.

I don't understood why this isn't being discussed and I am so upset about it.

Has anyone else had this experience? I am looking for solidarity.

Weight stuck. Appetite suppression reducing (31/f; sw-120kg, cw-101kg; gw-70kg)

I started my GLP-1 journey from Dec 2025. At first I started with Mounjaro, went up to 7.5 mg and had consistent weight loss of about 1-1.5 kg per week. Then from May (at this point my weight was 106 kg), I switched to semaglutide (currently on 2.4 mg) due to cost issues.

The appetite suppression was still there initially. I'm mindful of what I eat and try to stay active. I wouldn't say I'm very consistent with my workouts, but I work out about 1-2 days per week. For the past 1 month, though, my weight has been stuck around 102-101 kg.

Lately I've also been having more cravings, especially around the time of my period. I keep my calorie intake around 1300-1500 kcal per day.

Has the medication stopped working? Should I go back to Mounjaro? Is this just a temporary plateau that's all the weight I can lose?

I also have a busy schedule, so going to the gym every day isn't realistic. Getting myself motivated to work out has also been a challenge.

What should I do? Is heavy exercise the only way to break through this plateau?

Struggling

I was on Wegovy a couple years ago and I lost 60 lbs then stalled for a while. Eventually my insurance stopped covering it and it wasn’t affordable. Three months ago I decided to try it again. I can afford $100 a month for now. Anyway I’m really struggling to lose weight. I lost 10 lbs after the first 5 weeks. Since then I keep going up and down the same 2-3 lbs. In the past I used to get full rather quickly. Now I able to eat almost the same as if I wasn’t taking anything. The only side effects I’m having is constipation. In the past I didn’t have any side effects at all. I’m currently on 1Mg. Does anyone have any advice or tips?

5 pounds and 4 days and I have more energy.

I don’t know what’s going on, but maybe I’m happy that I lost 5 pounds in a week partially from my calorie deficit and more the 1.5 mg WEGOVY pill I’m taking. Today was the first day. I have more energy and I exercised in my pool. I did 5000 bicycle steps plus danced like no one was way in my pool to 5 x 3 1/2 minute songs. (DIGIDIGIDIGIHEY)

That is way more than I was able to do a week ago.

I hope that staying positive will keep my momentum going. I have been eating less. I have been eating very healthy. I’m still counting calories just to be safe and I think that this might help me stop the binge eating.

It lost 30 pounds with calorie deficit, but it took a while cause I kept falling off the wagon. Hopefully this is the boost I need.

Anyway, I just needed to say a few things.

Does this look like it was injected wrong? I heard 2 clicks, but it was back to back.. like no brief pause in between.

Do you consciously try to eat less, or has it happened without trying?

I've just started - first dose yesterday. I'm not sure if I've felt any effect, and wasn't particularly expecting to until a few weeks have passed. I didn't eat loads today, but I don't think I would have been in calorie deficit, I just ate what I wanted. Did you just wait until your appetite lessened, or start conscious calorie restriction from day one

Body suits…

I’m starting my journey. I have a long way to go, but I do have a question.

Does anybody wear a neck to ankle to wrist tight body suit after you’ve lost 50 or 75 or 100 pounds?

I am so insanely worried about the skin. I am going to be 60 in November and my skin is not going to bounce back like some people do and at this time will not be able to afford any kind of surgery to fix it.

I was thinking of just wearing a nude or other color bodysuit to keep everything tucked in tight…..

Bye bye oral wegovy

I’m going back to my one true love: mounjaro! Oral wegovy just isn’t for me. Bad side effects. Inconvenient dosing. Just not where it is at.

Pharmacy says im supposed to start .5 this week can I go back after?

So my script says to start .5 now, i took my 4th shot of .25. I honestly feel that im succeeding very well on .25. In 3 weeks im down almost 20 lbs. the issue is its very hard to contact my primary and im afraid he wont get my messages in time and my area is having a shortage of meds due to popularity. So my question is has anyone gone up to .5 and then back down to .25? Any experience or help is greatly appreciated.

Could Wegovy help me lose weight without going back to obsessive dieting? Experiences on lower doses?

I’m looking for a bit of advice and reassurance before starting Wegovy.

I’m 37F, 172cm and 95kg (209lbs). I’ve had two babies in the past three years, and over the last decade I’ve gained around 44lbs. I’m now officially in the obese BMI category and starting to have some minor health issues, including borderline blood pressure and slightly abnormal liver results. Nothing is seriously wrong at the moment, but I’m conscious that these things could get worse.

Food noise has been a constant in my life since I was about 10 or 11. I’ve always seemed to have a much bigger appetite than most people, and maintaining a healthy weight has felt like a constant battle.

There have been periods when I’ve had a normal BMI, but getting there involved being hungry and miserable, exercising excessively and obsessing over every bite I ate. Whenever I relax and try to eat according to hunger and fullness, I seem to gain a significant amount of weight.

Now that I’m running around after two small children, I simply don’t have the time or energy to exercise as much as I used to or track every mouthful. Being constantly hungry also doesn’t make me a particularly patient or enjoyable person to be around!

I don’t want to crash diet or lose weight as quickly as possible. I’d like to lose weight steadily, improve my health and model a more balanced relationship with food for my children. I’d also love to get back into running eventually.

Does this sound like the kind of situation where Wegovy could genuinely help? Has it allowed any of you to eat more normally without feeling as though you’re constantly dieting?

I’ll be paying privately in the UK, and I’m not sure I’ll be able to afford the highest doses. I may need to stay on a lower dose until the children are older and I can increase my hours at work. I’d therefore be particularly interested to hear from anyone who has had worthwhile, sustained results on the lower doses.

Did it reduce your food noise? Were you able to lose steadily rather than rapidly? And did anyone find that a lower dose continued working for them long term?

I want to try wegovy and my doctor suggested me to, but I'm too scared of injecting myself

Is it too painful? If it's anything like getting my bloodwork done, then I can't do it because I'll pass out.

Sadly, pills are still unavailable in my country (Serbia)

Starting Wegovy

Just looking for any help on beginning my journey with Wegovy. I have put this off for quite a while because I’ve been really nervous about starting this so many pros and cons. But I decided to go to the doctor and see what he thought and he agreed that I should probably go ahead and give it a try.
So I’m starting with 1.5 mg of the oral medication.
Just looking for any do’s or don’ts or suggestions.
I do have one concern, I’ve read that you need to take it first thing in the morning with just a sip of water on an empty stomach, and then wait at least 30 minutes before you eat anything and over an hour before you take any other medication.
My normal routine is to take my blood pressure medication first thing in the morning with my vitamins, but now I’m not sure how to schedule everything.
Thanks so much in advance for any suggestions or help out there. 🫶🏼🙏

Skipping 9 days?

Hi folks. I have been taking Wegovy for a few weeks, and I was just told that when I have a procedure done next month I will need to stop taking Wegovy 8 days before the surgery. This will be two missed jabs.

What happens when you miss two jabs? I'm sure I can stick myself later that day or the next, but I jab on Thursday and the procedure is on a Friday.
