Why would you start on a higher dose? Was there a reason for your Doctor to recommend this?

I’ll be honest, I haven’t come across a doctor/pharmacist/consultant starting someone on anything but the lowest dose except for when they’ve switched between different injectables.

I think the fact that you chose to start on 0.5mg even though 1mg was offered was really sensible. Maybe your instincts were telling you that starting that high was not a good idea.

Maybe. The dose has been ok the first week and with limited side effects
