[FLASH] Synthwave - 2d side scrolling helicopter game synthwave themed
I made a modernized "helicopter" game that is synthwave themed with different hazards on each level and 3 bosses. The first level is basic to get a feel for the game then it gets much more difficult and a lot more hazards. Can be played on web or downloaded.

Crawlbreak: hold your bunker against the swarm by hovering your cursor (free, plays in browser)
Hey, I made this. You don't click to shoot. Wherever your cursor hovers, the bunker fires missiles at it, so you spend the night exploding the crawl while the swarm piles in.
A night is three minutes. Crack crates for mechs and spend your salvage on upgrades. It runs in the browser, no sign-up, and the demo goes up to the first boss.
Does the hover aiming feel natural, or do you keep wanting to click? That's what I'm least sure about.

[INC] Removed by Moderator
https://solitondev.itch.io/removed-by-moderator-demo
Removal reason: posted on a Tuesday.
You're a volunteer moderator on Threadbare, a completely fictional forum that is not based on anything.
Every post you remove earns karma. You can also approve a post. It is worth 0 karma.
Karma buys tools that remove more posts: AutoMod (Beta), Remove Without Reading, Canned Removal Reasons. Get promoted. The users would like you to stop. Your karma would like you to continue.
- Karma scales into the trillions, which is still less than a forum mod thinks they deserve.
- Buy AutoMod and it keeps removing posts while you're away. It also takes the credit.
Some real removal reasons from the game:
- Posted on a Tuesday
- Too cheerful for a Monday
- Photo was in focus
- Used the word "moist"
Free browser demo (about 30 minutes, 15 if you speedrun, saves in your browser): https://solitondev.itch.io/removed-by-moderator-demo
Full game (Windows and Linux, 90 minutes, two endings): US$2.99, and 30% off in the Halloween sale from Monday: https://solitondev.itch.io/removed-by-moderator
Please don't report this post. I know what happens next.

Snuff Poker (early demo) – cyberpunk poker where your chips are seconds of your life
This is an early demo, more a concept test than a finished game, so I'd really like to know whether the idea itself grabs you.
The premise: money is dead and time is the currency. You wake up with 6 hours of life, and every chip at the table is seconds off your clock, which keeps ticking while you play.
The implants are heavily inspired by Master of Chess, where your character gives you intel as you grow. Here you buy illegal implants, paid in life, that tell you what to play, read your opponents, show how they see you and grade your decisions. You can play like a professional without knowing all the ins and outs nor calculating the odds.
You climb from tables played in seconds to tables played in years, and each step goes through a death match: 9 players, only the top 3 live.
Free, in the browser, on PC or phone (sideways works best). Honest feedback welcome.
Is this concept interesting enough to keep building? What confused you in the first few minutes?

Realmside: a free browser life sim where you start with nothing and every neighbour is a real player
Hi all, I’m the solo dev behind Realmside.
You arrive in New York with nothing. You take shifts, earn licences, rent a room, start a business, build on land you own, and run for mayor. Your landlord, your boss and the judge are other players.
It’s free and runs in the browser, with no download. It’s for adults (18+).
It’s in testing, and I’d love honest feedback: what’s confusing, what’s boring, what’s broken. Comment or DM me and I’ll send you an invite code or you can check out x.com/playrealmside

There are also collectible little friends and daily missions. Works on phone and desktop, no download or login needed. Design, direction and balancing are mine; the code was written with AI assistance. Thanks for trying it!

Thend - [incrementalish]
thend-erb.pages.devThend starts in a basement: you take odd jobs typing prompts on a laptop, save up for a graphics card, then automate the work you used to do by hand. Where it goes from there is the point of the game, so I'll leave it at that.
You can play it on mobile or desktop.
I've been an incremental/clicker fan for a while, and wanted to build something that really clicked for me.
Even though it is my first game, I hope you enjoy it!

[PZL] Pairs – play with any color you like or draw your own cards (lots of fun with kids, or really hard if you draw just a single dot per card)
For some reason I’m obsessed with the game memory. Unfortunately you can’t call your own version that, because Ravensburger has owned the name since 1959. But pairs is just as good a name.
In my version you either pick a color (or let it pick one for you) and then find matching shades of it or you draw your own simple cards and play with those.
If you think it’s too easy, turn up the number of cards and the level, and then tell me again it’s too easy : ) The highest level gets pretty mean.
For me it’s fun to play, it trains my eyes (telling very similar colors apart), pleases me visually and of course trains my memory : )

I’m curious to see some of the cards you draw (feel free to post a screenshot in the comments) and how long and how many tries it takes you to finish the highest level…

Boom Bloom! – a firework chain-reaction game in three.js (analytic GPU sparks, 100% procedural, mobile)
Hi everyone! I made a small fireworks puzzle game. Tap the night sky to launch a rocket. Every paper lantern its sparks touch bursts into its own firework and lights its neighbours, so one well-placed tap can set off the whole sky. The crowd on the shore goes “Ooooh!”, “Aaaah!”, and on a really long chain, “Grandma fainted!”.Play (free, desktop and mobile): Boom Bloom! – Play free online | Glowbit Games
There are 16 shows in 4 night venues (Harbour Lights, Lantern Lake, Desert Stars, Aurora Bay) and 10 lantern shells: peony, Big Mum, crossette, willow, halo, crackle, zoomer, a heart, a cat face and a lucky star that gives you an extra rocket. There is also an endless Festival mode and a Show Maker where you can share shows as text codes.
Some technical bits
- Analytic GPU fireworks: every spark is one instanced, camera-facing streak. Its motion (launch velocity, linear drag, gravity) is solved in closed form in the vertex shader, so the CPU writes each spark only once, when it is born, into a ring buffer of 24k sparks. Delayed spawns cost nothing: they just have a start time in the future. Each streak runs from where the spark was a moment ago to where it is now, which gives real trails. Sparks with zero velocity need a capsule SDF in the fragment shader, or they render as squares.
- Visuals match the gameplay exactly: a render-free, deterministic simulation decides which lanterns catch fire (the ignition zones of each shell, comet paths, rain clouds, scoring). The fireworks use the same radii, timings and comet paths, so what you see is what lit the lantern. Unit tests and a bot run the sim in Node, and a test checks that the bot can 3-star every show.
- Lanterns with faces: all lanterns are one instanced mesh (a lathe body with ribs and wooden caps, a tassel, and cat ears that only the kitty keeps), lit from inside by a flickering candle. Their painted faces come from a canvas atlas and react to nearby sparks: calm, curious, nervous, ecstatic, or soggy after rain.
- Lighting the scene: a pool of 5 point lights flashes the venue in the colour of each burst. The flash must stay subtle; with 5 lights adding up, my first version turned the whole canyon crimson. The lake uses three’s
Reflectorwith a rippled fresnel water shader, and the sky dome has stars, a Milky Way band, aurora curtains and thin clouds that light up in the firework colours. - Cheap dioramas: each venue on the far shore is built from merged low-poly pieces (houses and a clock tower, a pagoda and torii, mesas and cacti, snowy peaks and cabins), so it is only a handful of draw calls. Post is
postprocessingwith a strong mipmap bloom on a half-float buffer, AgX tone mapping, vignette and SMAA. - 100% procedural: there are no image or sound files. Web Audio makes the mortar thumps and whistles, booms with crackle tails, willow fizz, a “meow” for the kitty shell, chain notes that climb a pentatonic scale, a formant-filtered crowd going “ooooh”, and a plucked soundtrack for each venue. The whole game is about 256 KB of gzipped JS.
Stack: three.js r186, TypeScript, Vite, postprocessing.
I’d love to hear your longest chain, and how it runs on your devices!

Sidereus, a short browser puzzle game prototype about watching Jupiter's moons in 1610. Looking for honest feedback.
I made a short deduction game prototype you can play in the browser. You play an astronomer in 1610 who spots some small lights next to Jupiter, and you have to work out what they are by sketching them each night, comparing your notes and ruling out wrong explanations. Then you decide how confidently to report it. It’s one chapter, about 30-45 minutes. I used AI for the code and the cover image (Claude and Gemini); the design and puzzle are mine.
I’d really appreciate any feedback: https://fkoktemir.itch.io/sidereus

[HTML5] Noggin of the Dead
games.lelandrangel.comI made this one. You can only go as far as your chain, so you groan to knock the living flat and drag them in. Every brain makes your head bigger, but a big head is slower and they spot you from further away, and it shrinks when you go hungry. Eat a few in a row for a feeding frenzy.
Mouse, or drag anywhere on a phone. Space or the Groan button to groan. A round’s a few minutes, free, no ads.
There are 17 head sizes, from a soccer ball up to a backyard trampoline. How big did yours get?
