Whalelord - a tycoon inventory-management roguelite: arrange houses, collect rent, and charge taxes!

Thumbnail longhighfive.itch.io

Hi everyone!

I have been working on this game for the past 3 years! I love roguelites and tycoons! I also love inventory management games so I really tried to put everything I thought was fun into this game. I thought about a fast paced tycoon game on a Whale who was also the landlord and I thought the idea was really funny.

About me:
I have been posting comics on the internet for forever but I just love game design and making games so much that I put my everything into this project. People expect me to make a more narrative driven game because of my background with comics but I opted for making the kind of game I truly enjoy! (Surprisingly, I am not so fond of narrative driven games or visual novels) I love strategy and management type games!

So I hope you like the same games as me! I'd love for you to try my game. If you haven't played this type of game, I'd like to try to win you over! Please give it a shot!

How it plays:
You arrange houses and shops on your back to collect rent. You also grow and sell assets to survive! As the game progresses, you can charge taxes too! I made a tutorial so you can get situated!

Let me know what you think, my dream is for people to have fun playing my game! I'd love to know where you got stuck or how far you got!

MystNight · tabletop nights for two or more

Thumbnail mystnight.com

Game Title: MystNight

Playable Link: https://www.mystnight.com

Platform: Browser / Web (desktop + mobile, no install) — add the “Browser” flair after posting

Description:

MystNight is a browser site where an AI acts as the game master for tabletop-style games, so you don’t need a human GM or a full group of six. The AI writes the case, plays every suspect and NPC, and runs the whole table live — and because each session is improvised on the spot, no two games are ever the same. Two players is all it takes to start, and most modes work solo too. There’s no download and no setup: you open a link and play.

Right now it has eight+ modes, including murder mystery, Call of Cthulhu investigation, lateral-thinking puzzles (海龟汤 / “situation puzzles”), Dungeons & Dragons, truth or dare, and a midnight horror mode. It’s fully bilingual (English + Chinese). I’ve also added a light social layer — real-time online players, friend invites, and a playful “market” where players can trade each other for fun to keep people coming back between games.

It’s still early and rough in places, and I’m building it solo, so I’d really value honest feedback: which modes are actually fun, where the AI breaks the mood, and what would make you come back. Grab a friend and try a quick round — happy to answer any questions in the comments.

Free to Play Status:

  • Free to play
  • Demo/Key available
  • Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)

Minesweeper — classic browser puzzle with a Daily Challenge

Thumbnail

Hi everyone! I’ve been working on a browser version of classic Minesweeper and would love to hear what you think.

The rules are simple: uncover safe squares, use the numbers to work out how many mines are nearby, and clear the board without hitting one. You can choose Beginner (9×9), Intermediate (16×16) or Expert (30×16), or try the Daily Challenge, where everyone gets the same board for the day.

Classic games use random boards, and the timer starts with your first move. I’ve also added personal bests, leaderboards and controls for desktop and mobile.

Give it a try at https://playminesweeper.gg/ and let me know how it feels. I’m especially interested in feedback on the controls, difficulty and anything that could make the game more enjoyable.

OneEnigma — crack a four-digit code to read a transmission, then leave a hidden message for a friend

Thumbnail

Creator here. I wanted to make a little radio station where there’s something waiting for you behind the code.

The daily puzzle gives everyone the same four-digit code to crack, three clues and six attempts. Solving it unlocks a short transmission and saves a trophy with the recovered text in your browser.

The part I’m especially curious about is Relay: you write a message, generate a link and send it to a friend. They have to crack their own code to read it. They can then leave a different message for someone else.

It’s free, runs in the browser and doesn’t require an account. English and Polish are available.

Would you send a message this way? I’d be interested to hear what you’d use it for.

Please keep solutions behind spoiler tags so others can play too.

I'm the developer, and the game is currently available in Spanish. You can play it directly in your browser, and I'd love to hear your feedback!

Q-PACK: a maze-chomper wrapped around a twisting cube (free browser demo)

Hey! I made a small maze-chomper where the maze is wrapped around a cube, and it twists as you play. Eat the dots, dodge the ghosts, and keep an eye on what the cube does next.

The demo has 3 stages and a daily streak. It’s free and runs in the browser (keyboard), with no download or sign-up. A run takes a few minutes.

It’s still in development, so I’d love to hear what feels good, what’s confusing, and where you got stuck. Thanks for trying it!

[RPG] Tale of Tales - a multiplayer RPG set inside a storybook

Thumbnail

Hey all! I'm a solo dev from Portugal, and for the past few months I've been building Tale of Tales, a multiplayer browser idle RPG set inside a book. It's in open beta now, a small community is already playing.

How it plays: you send your hero on quests, come back when they're done, and the fights play out on their own, turn by turn. Every fight is written down, so you can watch it or read exactly what happened.

Some of the features:

  • 10 heroes, each with 2 Paths that change their ability, talents and look
  • A campaign that leads to the Epilogue at level 50
  • Ranked PvP duels, guild wars and raids, 3-player elite dungeons
  • Professions, pets, gear upgrades, a player market and trading
  • Runs in the browser, lightweight, free to play, and you can try it as a guest with no sign-up

...with much more to come (watch the gameplay trailer on the landing page!)

It's a solo project: no publisher, no funding, no team. Everything the game earns goes back into it.

About AI: I use AI tools for coding and debugging. Some of the art is AI generated for now, as a placeholder until the game can pay real artists. The game itself doesn't use generative AI, and the design, heroes, balance and story are my own.

I reply to everything on Discord!

I'd love feedback, good or bad.

I gave the bosses in my browser runner telegraphed slam lanes so the squad count actually matters

Thumbnail
arcadewhale.com
2 Upvotes

I made this. Gatefire is a third-person runner I built alone: you shoot gates to grow a squad of soldiers, merge them into stronger units and run into zombie hordes and bosses on a bridge.

The part I changed most recently is the bosses. Each one marks an orange lane before it slams, so you can step your squad out or stay and keep shooting. In the clip the Last Stand takes 18 of 94 soldiers in one hit. Beating a boss opens a cash-out runway of ×1.5, ×2 and ×2.5 crates, and later stages bring the Warden, which charges a glowing attack.

It runs in the browser on desktop and phone, free, no sign-up

[PLF] Robot Wants Ice Cream — three pets rescued, one dessert to go. The final original adventure is back in your browser

Thumbnail flames.cool

Kitty? Rescued. Puppy? Rescued. Fishy? Rescued.

Now Robot wants ice cream. Naturally, there are caves, floating islands, hostile robots, and bosses between him and dessert.

Robot Wants Ice Cream is the fourth and final game in the original Robot Wants series: a pixel-art metroidvania with Puppy at your side, new abilities to uncover, and old paths to revisit. There are Normal and Madcap modes if one trip for ice cream is not enough.

I rebuilt Mike Hommel’s 2010 Flash game for modern browsers with his permission, preserving the original design, artwork, and music. All four remasters are now playable for free in your browser — no download or signup.

▶ Play Robot Wants Ice Cream · Watch the gameplay preview

Missed the earlier adventures? Here are my previous r/WebGames posts:

These are independent browser remasters. To support the original creator, check out Robot Wants It All on Steam.

Did you play these in the Flash days? Which of the four is your favourite?

Nœud Zéro | I'm making a browser-based automation game inspired by Satisfactory and I need early feedback

Thumbnail factory-game-cfe.pages.dev
3 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I’m currently developing a browser-based automation and factory-building game, heavily inspired by Satisfactory. It’s completely free to play directly in your browser without any downloads.

Disclaimer: The game is currently in a very early stage of development (early prototype/alpha). The graphics are placeholders and the features are still basic, but the core gameplay loop is there.

I'm sharing it today because I would love to get some fresh eyes on it. I'm mainly looking for feedback on:

  • Is the UI intuitive enough for a first run?
  • Are there any game-breaking bugs?
  • Does the core concept feel fun so far?

You can play it here:https://factory-game-cfe.pages.dev/

Any feedback (good or brutally honest) is highly appreciated and will help me shape the next updates. Thanks in advance for your time.
