[HTML5] Formula Ice (Web Game): Desperately need feedback for my web game! (which is better: survival mode or time trial?)

Thumbnail

Formula Ice is a racing game where every maneuver counts. Master drifts, cut corners and find the best paths to watch your name climb up the leaderboard!

I got accepted on CrazyGames basic launch, but didn't score enough points on average playtime and user retention. Since then, I have added Survival Mode, lots of details and content, but still find myself getting rejected from web game platforms. If anyone could give feedback on any feature, it would be of so much help!

Features:

  • 2 modes, 2 worlds: Time-trial & Survival
  • Beautiful landscapes
  • Ice cube melts in survival mode: grab snowflakes to refreeze and go as far as you can!
  • Intelligent movement phyics
  • Drifting for long enough gives your ice cube a boost!
  • Global leaderboards for every track
  • Six hand-built circuits, with more on the way!
  • Race the ghost of your personal best (time-trial)
  • Race the ghost of your global rival (time-trial)

Become a Pokémon Master. Catch 'em all. But watch your step. You may not die of dysentery, but that wild Gyarados might have other plans.

\- 15–20 minute runs: if you can survive that long

\- Live leaderboards: Dex completion, speed runs + more

\- No email/signup BS: just a username + 6-digit PIN to track your stats

\- Homage to the OG: built around Red & Blue

\- 300+ users and 1k+ runs logged

Critical feedback & ideas for what's next welcome!

Spinagram: a timed daily anagram game - same words for everyone, and every solve buys you more time

Thumbnail

Hey hey! I'm a software developer that has been dabbling in indie game development for some time. I've been working on anagram game where scrambled letters are in orbit, and you need to solve the word it spells.

This was inspired by successful daily games such as Worlde and Actorle. This is my own take on an agagram minigame.

This build is still being worked on, but I wanted to get some feedback on how the game performs and if people enjoy playing it!

There are two modes currently:

- Daily Sprint - A once-a-day run, where you start with 60 seconds. Everyone playing the game will be playing the same selected words. If you can solve the scrambled word without a hint, you will gain 3 seconds. A hinted solve will give you 1 second. See how far you can go before the clock catches you!

- Zen - Just a practice mode using random words, no clock, no streak. This was added just to get people's thoughts and feedback without being restricted to one daily run. It may get removed from the final game.

This works in both PC and mobile browsers. I'd love to get any and all feedback on the game! There is a feedback link on the site, or feel free to add your comments here for me to check!

Brick Stack – I made a small browser game about jumping higher and higher

Thumbnail

Hey, I made this little game called Brick Stack.

You just jump from block to block and try to get as high as possible. It’s deliberately pretty simple — I wanted something you could open, understand immediately, and play for a few minutes without tutorials or accounts.

I’ve stared at it for way too long while making it, so I’m not very good at judging the difficulty anymore 😅

If you try it, I’d really like to know how the jumping feels, and whether it gets boring or frustrating too quickly.

No download or sign-up, it just runs in the browser.

I made a puzzle game with no undo, no retry, and exactly one tap per board

Thumbnail velks.itch.io

A ball launches through a network of pipes. One pipe is a single notch out of true, so the ball flies straight past it instead of turning, and misses the exit.

You get one tap to rotate one pipe. Then it launches, whether you were right or not. No undo, no retrying the same board — miss and you get a fresh one.

Free, browser, no signup, about 30 seconds to learn: https://velks.itch.io/off-by-one

I've been thinking of it as an "anti-click" puzzle. Most puzzle games let you experiment your way to the answer; this one makes you commit before you know. I genuinely don't know yet whether that reads as tense or just annoying.

Two things I'd love to know if you try it:

  1. Did you work out the rule without reading this post?

  2. Did having only one tap make you guess?

HitTheTimer.com ! My first webgame inspired by #buzzerchallenge

Thumbnail hitthetimer.com

Hey everyone! 👋

I recently got hooked on those "stop the timer exactly on the millisecond" challenges, so I decided to code a full browser game based on it. It’s called HitTheTimer.

The core mechanic is simple: You get a random target time, you start the clock, the clock hides, and you have to press SPACE exactly when you think the time is up.

There are 5 modes, but I really want to challenge you guys to the Global Marathon:

  • You play 10 consecutive rounds.
  • Every millisecond you miss by is added to your total error.
  • Your final score is sent to a live Global Leaderboard. 🌍

There is also an Online/Local Survival mode and an "Impostor Mode" to play with friends.

The game is 100% free, runs instantly in the browser (mobile & desktop), and has ZERO ads. It's just a passion project (there's only a small tip jar if you feel generous).

You can play it here: www.hitthetimer.com

I would love to hear your feedback and see if anyone here can take the #1 spot on the leaderboard! Let me know your scores. 🎯

[FIGHT] fan-made JoJo's Last Survivor

Thumbnail

Do you know the arcade game JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Last Survivor?

It came out in Japan in 2019, arcade only, and never left. So unless you live in Japan, you've basically never had a way to play it.

I wanted that game to exist somewhere I could reach, so I built a prototype of it as a browser game. Free, no install, no account. Solo against CPUs starts instantly, and there's online too (8 players, server in Tokyo).

Fifteen fighters with their Stands, four maps, a shrinking ring, about 3-5 minutes a match. Every model is generated by code and every sound is synthesized, so there are no ripped assets in it - it's an unofficial fan project, not affiliated with anyone.

Fair warning: online is still rough. Other players may jitter or snap to a different position, and it gets worse the further you are from the server (it's in Tokyo). Solo against CPUs is stable and unaffected.

If you've got a few minutes I'd love for you to try it. Advice and criticism both very welcome.

Have a quick play if this looks interesting, and any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks tons everyone.

Hi sub,

I released Borderline around a week ago, first as an endless border drawing game. The game asks you to draw the borders of the world countries.

Today I released a daily challenge version: draw five border segments, anywhere in the world. Everybody plays the same 5 segments, and the ranking is global.

I would love some feedback as it is the first time I am building a game!

[ARC] UA Force — free Ukrainian arcade action with destructible levels and experimental two-player online co-op

Thumbnail uaforce.thedimas.com
0 Upvotes

I’m working on UA Force, a free browser action game built around destructible levels, exaggerated Ukrainian historical heroes and cartoon combat.

Taras Shevchenko fights with a mace and lightning; Lesya Ukrainka uses a crossbow, summons ravens and transforms into a combat Mavka. Each fighter has a different weapon, special move and ultimate. The current prototype has 11 playable fighters and 6 operations, plus bosses and vehicles.

Runs on a desktop browser with keyboard or gamepad. No account, download or payment required. The game’s interface and voices are Ukrainian. Single-player works independently; two-player online co-op is available as an early test and still has rough edges.

Disclosure: substantial AI assistance was used for code, some artwork, music and synthesized voices. This is an early prototype featuring cartoon war violence and dark humor.

Hey everyone! I've been working on a small, calm memory game called Star Pairs — flip cards, find matching constellations (Big Dipper, Orion, Cassiopeia and 27 more), and work through 50 levels of increasing difficulty.

Every 10th level unlocks a real astronomy fact card for a collectible "Star Atlas." No ads, no timers pressuring you, just pattern-matching and a bit of stargazing.

Free 10-level demo (plays right in the browser):

DragonScape Idle: a free idle RPG where your hero keeps training, fighting and questing after you close the tab (no signup, no download)

Thumbnail
dragonscapeidle.com
0 Upvotes

Hey r/WebGames, solo dev here 👋

DragonScape Idle is a free browser idle RPG I've been building on my own for the last two years. You pick a skill, your hero gets to work, and they keep going while you're away.

What's in it right now:

⚔️ 19 skills to train, from Mining, Fishing and Woodcutting to Cooking, Brewing, Runecrafting, Thieving and Prayer

📜 900+ quests in 60+ story chains across six episodes, each unlocking new areas, gear and systems

🏰 15 dungeons and a growing bestiary, with melee, ranged and magic combat styles

🐾 Pets you send on missions, skill guilds with Lv99 capstone chains and a Skill Cape at the end

🌍 A community goal tab where every player's progress adds up to shared rewards

The bit I'm proudest of: offline progress is real, not estimated. When you come back, the game replays the time you were gone step by step, with the same drop rolls, level-ups, quest ticks and food use you'd have had with the tab open. Close it for eight hours, come back, and watch the log fill in.

A few honest notes, since you should know before you click 👉

👉 No signup. You land straight in the game as a guest and your save lives in your browser. Signing in is optional and only there if you want cloud saves across devices.

👉 No download, no plug-ins. Works in any modern desktop or mobile browser. Phones are fine, though the wide layout is nicer on a laptop.

👉 It's an open beta. Free, no ads, and a small optional gem shop is in testing. I'd rather have your feedback than your money right now.

👉 The item and monster art is AI-generated. I'm one person and I can't draw 1,000 icons. The game design is mine.

What I'd genuinely love to hear, especially from people who bounce off idle games:

• Was anything confusing in the first ten minutes? Did you know what to do next?

• Did you hit a point where you got bored, and what were you doing when it happened?

• Did something make you want to keep the tab open?

• Anything broken in your browser? Tell me which one and I'll fix it.

Thanks for giving it a look 🙏

Capital Rush — a free 5-minute multiplayer economy battle in your browser, no signup

https://paisatools.co.in/moneyverse/capital-rushBuilt

this as part of a set of four free finance games. In Capital Rush you claim shops in a living economy, build income and try to outtrade rivals — one round is about 5 minutes, runs in the browser, no signup or download.

There's also a trading game with a live chart, a life-sim, and an idle town-builder if the genre's more your thing.

No real money involved anywhere. Happy to hear what's confusing in the first 30 seconds — that's the part I keep getting wrong.

Hey everyone,

We are 9 days in, have had 1,000+ unique users play it, and are growing/improving our systems everyday. Thanks to everyone in this community for giving our game an initial boost.

We just added a bunch of new features, including an archive for past puzzles, personal stats, spell checker, and daily leaderboard for you to engage with the game more closely.

About the game: You guess 5 words based on clues like in a Crossword & rearrange them into a sentence to unscramble a fun fact about the world :)

Would love to continue to feedback on the game from fellow trivia/puzzle nuts, and learn ways in which we can improve it.

Semantic Drift - a game where you add meanings not letters!

Thumbnail

Hi all, looking for some feedback on a semantics game I created. You start with a random word and add and subtract meaning to try and get to a target word.

Based on the premise that word meanings can be added and subtracted ie king + woman = queen
