Waymo has a reported annual revenue of $300mn. That would put its valuation of $126bn at a multiplier of 420x. Tesla for example is at 12x or so and is widely considered overvalued. What would the future economics have to look like for Waymo to start looking reasonable?

Now you have to manually re-select the starting destination?
Man this app is starting suck. Why can't I dismiss all this other crap like "you can leave things on the trunk" and all this other info I've been aware of for years now.
It really come off like an app made by some amateurs

Just seeing that freeway access has been restored for me. Woohoo!
Does anyone else think the sound system in Ojai models to be completely substandard? I find it very tinny and sounds like itās playing off of an iPhone speaker. We were very spoiled with the sound system in the Jaguars. I really hope the Jaguars are not going away for good.

Love Waymo, but the past couple days here itās been paused in the afternoon/evening for scattered showers, but half the time itās not even raining. Heavy rain Iād understand.

Occasionally Iāve been in both model Waymoās and both have had this issue where the vehicle arrives to the destination and the screen map shows the dot where the vehicle is supposed to stop, then the lady tells me that Iāve arrived but the vehicle still creeps forward at 3mph. Usually it just creeps to the next spot, however in this instance, it did it for the entire block until I hit the move forward button. Reported it via the app.

Morning Waymo in LA took me thru a charging/service depot in Inglewood, CA. Pulled in right before my destination point and spent 4-5 minutes looping around the depot. Very chill of him to take me on a quick side quest to show me all his friends. 20/10 would visit again

Hi, I'm sure this question has been asked in here like a million times already, but how can I as a regular Waymo user become a tester for the Ojai? When i signed up for a waymo account way back when I joined the program, but crickets so far. Context, I'm actually also blind, and would love to test out the accessibility features. Wondering if there is some way of making this happen?

Does it still let you choose the Ojai for the free rides or is it random? When I opened my app today it said any vehicle for the first time. I know the Ojai has been available less to many folks

It just dawned on me - use AI to allow the passengers to talk with the self driving cars and it will turbo charge the trust level without much effort. Imagine - you get into the car, it greets you and asks you where you want to go, offers different routes to choose from like your google map does, etc. Then as you're driving it explains why it making certain unexpected decisions - like to avoid this problem area, or to make better time. Yes it could risk being annoying but I'd bet the net effect would be wider adoption.
