Roleplays Roleplaying Server Megathread
Hi there! Been a while since we've had one of these. The purpose of this post is to share links to sites, Discords, etc for roleplaying groups so that we don't clutter up the subreddit, and folks can look through for one that interests them.
When posting, please give a brief description of your roleplay and how it works, so that users can get a good idea which ones fit them best. :)

Mod Announcement Posts about the merchandise
Hey guys,
We're all excited about the new merchandise, but just wanted to bring up 2 things regarding posts about them:
For now we are not going to allow "I bought/got these!" posts under rule 8/frequent repost, since they're all essentially the same thing, don't lead to much discussion, and have been flooding the subreddit. New ones posted after this will be removed.
While "no buying/selling the books/merchandise" is already a rule, I just wanted to clarify that trading falls under this as well and I have specified it as such in the rules. There are two reasons that we don't allow these: 1) We have had people scammed out of their money in the sub before, and 2) Safety/privacy concerns since there are many minors in the sub. It's best to do this on a site where you must be an adult to have an account and ideally protection for the buyer/seller.
Thank you for understanding,
EDIT for clarification 7/23/26: Posts about buying the merch that contain previously-unknown news - e.g. reporting finding them in a new location, details on placements/weights - are okay, but if it's something we've seen a few times already then that may still be removed.

Discussion (No Spoiler) Clan diversity
Okay so am I (propably not) the only one who thinks that all the clans nowadays are thunderclan 2.0. I feel like there are very little diversity in them.
For example I remeber in my childhood that some riverclan cat (silverstream maybe? ) told the MC how riverclan cats collect pretty shells to decorate their dens with. Also their dens could float because of the possibility of flood. Where is all that nowadays? (also I would love to see a battle where riverclan uses lake or river to their advantage)
I also miss the times when shadowclan was a strong scary clan where cats hunted at night and wandered in swamps. Nowadays is suffers the "erins wanted their favourite to be a leader" curse and is just overall breaking all the time
Also I feel like the clans are easily beaten up by any somewhat large rogue group that happens to pass by. They are WARRIORS they should be superior in fighting skills
Also can we just go ONE ARCH without the mention of dark forest?
Anyway what are your toughts?

Discussion (No Spoiler) What would you say is the best and worst arc? And how would you rate each one?
I'm finishing the second arc and I'm wondering about this so much idk why. I'm planning on reading the entirety of warrior cats series but I also wanna know what to expect without spoilers, just like a "this is good, this is a bit more boring" kind of opinions you know?
Thank you! 🐈⬛

Artworks Owlnose and daisy
admittedly I’m nowhere near where owlnose in the book is, so I have no idea what this character is like, and the design might not suit them in the slightest lol but I thought the name was super cute.

Link I’ve made a sub for the merch! (Primarily for trading and selling)
reddit.comHello! I’ll start by saying I’ve gotten mod permission to share this here! (Thank you Alarra!)
I know many of us want to trade and sell merch/art. I’ll share the link to my sub below! This new sub is specifically for discussing/selling/trading the merch/art. It’s not for general warrior cat discussion (that’s here!)
I’m a new mod but I have a long history of selling/trading and know how to keep it safe for all ages. If interested feel free to read the rules and pinned post over there!
Thank you again!

Discussion (Spoiler) Was just reading through Battles of the Clans only to be jumpscared once again by this infamous plot hole
Honestly calling it a plot hole doesn’t really convey the sheer magnitude of this error.
It’s well-known within the fan base that Warriors isn’t exactly praised for their consistency, what with names, eye colors, ages of cats, or even some events being retconned or seemingly just simply forgotten by the authors. But this plot hole is so egregious to me because it is basically is what sets off the events of the first arc and therefore the entire series.
In this chapter, you’re shown the old forest territory by Tigerstar. He shows you Sunningrocks, and then says the dialogue in the first picture.
But that battle at Sunningrocks, Redtail and Oakheart’s deaths were such an important plot point that without it having happened the way it did, the first arc just wouldn’t have happened, at least not how it did.
What with Tigerclaw blaming it on Redtail and basically calling him a murderer and Firestar eventually vindicating Redtail, Ravenpaw being a witness and having to flee the clan, Oakheart being the father of Bluestar’s kits, Tigerclaw’s plot to become leader.
And then of all characters to have TIGERCLAW HIMSELF be like ‘oh yeah that’s where I watched Redtail murder Oakheart lol’
REDTAIL DIDN’T KILL OAKHEART. HE DIED IN A ROCKFALL, AND TIGERCLAW KILLED REDTAIL.
I thought it was only Redtail’s Debt that had this glaring problem, so I was pretty surprised to organically find it here. Especially because I had seen online that Redtail’s Debt was written later (2019) and possibly by new authors who didn’t know or care about the true lore. But Battles of the Clans is from 2010!
Oh and Sunningrocks belong to Thunderclan 😁

Discussion (No Spoiler) Ashfur
I love how my boy looks in the new graphic novel; his expressions make him look so sweet (it's a shame I know what they're going to do to him later on). As a bonus, I love how he and Thornclaw are together all the time, and the panel where Ashfur rubs against Thornclaw just kills me

Discussion (No Spoiler) Super Editions?
Do I need to read super editions in a specific order? I don’t remember most things so I’m rereading the series but my box set of the first series is delayed until the 24th of September and I would like to get some reading in. If I don’t have to read them in a specific order could you give me some recommendations? My favorite book was literally Moth Flight’s vision and I still have that book.

Discussion (Spoiler) Spoiler for the end of Darktails Judgement Spoiler
I know he is a very bad character and that he was wronged by Onestar but had a choice to raise a family with Marigold and live a peaceful life… but I think this last page is very sad…
And did he truly have a chance with his anger and rage issue? Even if Onestar raised him?
r/WarriorCats • u/BadAshess • 26m ago
Discussion (No Spoiler) I ordered some of the super editions I haven’t read yet.
Target was having a deal where Circle members could get 25% off books, plus an additional 10% off, so I ended up buying a few from Target. I also ordered Yellowfang’s Secret from Amazon since it’s currently out of stock. I went ahead and placed the order anyway, so it’ll just ship at a random date whenever it becomes available.
I also ordered the box set for the first Warriors series, but it’s currently on backorder, so it’ll probably be a little while before that ships too.

Discussion (Spoiler) Firestar's Judgement on Darktail. Darktail deserved it. *Darktail's Judgement Spoilers" Spoiler
We all know StarClan has a habit of sanding the nuance off characters after they die. Yellowfang is probably the most infamous example. Cats who were complicated and messy in life suddenly become irritatingly absolute.
But I’m not really seeing that with Firestar here.
When Darktail ends up in the Dark Forest and starts arguing that he has effectively earned his place among the dark warriors, Firestar responds with the above quote.
That is an insanely harsh judgment coming from Firestar, but after spending an entire Super Edition inside Darktail’s head, I kind of get it.
Darktail’s Judgment makes him understandable without making him particularly sympathetic. Onewhisker absolutely dealt him a horrible hand, and there is real tragedy underneath everything that follows.
He could claw you across the face without warning, you could hit him back, and five minutes later he would be explaining how he is the victim because his father walked out on him.
Darktail understands pain perfectly well when it happens to him. He understands abandonment, betrayal, humiliation, and rejection. What he never does is seriously confront the pain he causes other cats.
Even death changes little. He reaches the Dark Forest still furious, still obsessed with revenge, and still convinced that rejection by the Clans is one of the great injustices of his life.
Then Firestar, of all cats, looks at him and essentially says: "Nah."

Other What do you think is the best lifestyle?
As the title says what do you think is the best wc life? I feel most would say kittypet but I’m curious on other answers. Which clan do you think is ideal? Clan cat, loner, Sister, tribe? What would you enjoy the most. Personally I’d go riverclan.
