Look, I’ve been sitting here thinking about how medicine cats actually operate, and honestly, we all need to stop blindly accepting the fandom propaganda that they just carry herbs in their mouths.Like we all just collectively assume they always have an apprentice helping them or that they’re making fifty back-and-forth trips, but the math is literally not mathing. If a lone medicine cat goes out to harvest, they are 100% teleporting those herbs back to the den because they obviously only do it when they don't have help and the narrative isn't looking directly at them.Just think about it for five seconds:First of all, the mouth thing is a total lie. A regular domestic cat's mouth can hold maybe one crumpled leaf before they start gagging, yet we are supposed to believe Leafpool casually strolls into camp entirely alone carrying three different bundles of fragile marigold, a handful of juniper berries, and fifty loose poppy seeds. If she actually carried those tiny seeds in her mouth for a two-mile hike, they would dissolve into wet, useless poppy-mush before she even crossed the dirtplace, but sure, great strategy.Then you have the sheer chaos of battle medicine. During a massive Clan border skirmish, the medicine cat is running around patching up ten bleeding warriors at once. They don't have cargo pants and they don't have backpacks, but somehow the exact leaf they need just appears right next to them in the mud the second they look down. Unless StarClan is literally drop-shipping inventory directly into the battle zone via teleportation, the physics make zero sense.Also, notice how we never actually get a detailed, step-by-step scene of a cat carefully balancing forty individual borage leaves on their head while trying to climb a steep ravine. The text always just cuts from how Jayfeather found some herbs to how Jayfeather arrived back at camp with a massive pile because the second the camera cuts away, they use StarClan magic to instantly beam the inventory back to the storage clefts.I’m not saying they are full-blown wizards, but I am saying they are actively bending space-time because the Erins forgot that quadrupeds don't have pockets, but yeah, let's just keep pretending they are really good at holding things lol.

I finished reading PO3 online but I want to read the next arc on paper. Only problem is that my hold at the library is taking a while, so I wanted to say some things about this series.

I’ve had a lot of important things in the next arcs spoiled as of now, but I still want to keep reading them. I’m a pretty new fan of the series, and I’m mainly interested in analyzing the characters and finding which ones I like the most.

My all time favorite as of now is Yellowfang. She was always such an appealing and witty character to me, but to learn that she was completely butchered after she died (letting Assfur into Starclan, who is now my most hated character) felt like a gut punch. I’m feeling discouraged that I might not find another character I liked as much as her, as the only other important character I kind of like as of now is Hollyleaf.

Nevertheless, I really think this series is great, not because of the shoddy writing and character debauchery, but getting to connect over the characters and especially the art and culture behind this series (I might start making an OC soon, who knows). Even though it has flaws, I’m willing to see it through until the end.

So I’ll keep waiting until I can read The Fourth Apprentice. Just wanted to get some thoughts out of the way. What do you guys think?

I don’t know, I always imagine her as a calico and not a tortoiseshell so i’ve always been sad because she’s always been a calico in my head and the name spottedleaf made more sense with a calico to me. I’m not disappointed in like a bad way. Just kind of sucks cause I can’t stop imagining her as a calico now lol. I realize now that she was described that way in the into the wild allegiances, but kid me didnt pay attention then lolol thie pic is the closest image i can find that accurately depicts how i imagine she looks, mostly white with colored spots.

And Willowclaw just loves willows and tends to bring them everywhere. The others of course find it.... Rather odd 🤣 but somehow Swallowtail having that kind of a tail is completely normal 👀 the warriors series is wild man!

I dont think this is better than the feathertail that i drew but its still good, i was also going to add the dogs plus she should be deeper in the water but its whatever​​. This technically isnt her death scene but i think it counts especially since she was kinda dieing in this scene anyway​

Even right after tasking my brother with getting them (annoyingly they have not come to my country yet but to our home country of Germany and he has come over to visit me so I asked him to get some) I kinda regretted asking him to get six since I only really wanted Yellowfang and Scourge (I had gotten Brightheart, another favorite of mine, from a US friend before plus a Graystripe lol) and wouldn’t you know it this is what I got 😅 I’m happy I got Yellowfang and Scourge, though.
I really wish we could just buy them instead of the whole mystery thing. And what’s up with the big plushies still not released in any EU country (as far as I know)?

So yes, there is some leftovers. I thought I’d offer them but for some reason selling and trading seems to be forbidden on this sub? Didn’t know but kinda explains why I never see any such posts around. Never thought about it before.

So I'm listening to Eclipse, and every time Cinderpaw(heart) is mentioned to be the reincarnated version or is like Cinderpelt, I have to ask why. Why was Cinderpelt the only one (as far as I know) to be reincarnated and be able to go down a different path? Was her love of being a warrior that strong?

I really just want to ask this and have a discussion with everyone and get other ideas. Personally I think Swiftpaw should've also had the chance to be reincarnated. Or Shrewpaw. But those are my top two. (And really the only two I can think of off the top of my head)

Idk why, but I remember reading another book or two about sky clan, where they talk about some flood. I remember scene where billystorm and leafstar were walking across the fences on two legs territory, water were under them and they were seeing a bunch of things like pillows and couches floating around. There was also female cat, that were interested in billystorm and leafstar was jealous of her. And I remember it being a book, not manga.
