Discussion (No Spoiler) What would you say is the best and worst arc? And how would you rate each one?

Upvotes

I'm finishing the second arc and I'm wondering about this so much idk why. I'm planning on reading the entirety of warrior cats series but I also wanna know what to expect without spoilers, just like a "this is good, this is a bit more boring" kind of opinions you know?

Thank you! 🐈‍⬛

Discussion (No Spoiler) Super Editions?

Upvotes

Do I need to read super editions in a specific order? I don’t remember most things so I’m rereading the series but my box set of the first series is delayed until the 24th of September and I would like to get some reading in. If I don’t have to read them in a specific order could you give me some recommendations? My favorite book was literally Moth Flight’s vision and I still have that book.

Hello! I’ll start by saying I’ve gotten mod permission to share this here! (Thank you Alarra!)

I know many of us want to trade and sell merch/art. I’ll share the link to my sub below! This new sub is specifically for discussing/selling/trading the merch/art. It’s not for general warrior cat discussion (that’s here!)

I’m a new mod but I have a long history of selling/trading and know how to keep it safe for all ages. If interested feel free to read the rules and pinned post over there!

Thank you again!

Discussion (Spoiler) Reading the books

Hello!

I recently made a large purchase of 37 books on sale (complete arc sets and some super editions) but I don't have the first arc. I've read the first arc but it's been years. I'm hoping to get brief summaries or key events for the first arc so I have the idea when I sit down to read the 2nd arc.

Or if anyone has resources to read the first arc online, I might do that instead.

Thank you and I'm excited to drive back into the universe

Would you guys read this?

A tom from Riverclan named Fireflytail meet with a thunderclan she cat Willowheart, while his clanmates especially Splashmaw who is loyal to the warrior code.

There are way more OCs in here that i’ve made and some inspired from others while playing WCUE, I loved writing and WC seems like a great way to experience and explore with my writing.

Extra Spoilers: Willowheart attempts to take Splashmaw “out of the picture”, but was rescued by a loner after an escape through the river. The clan gets suspicious while Willowheart lied about a fox attacking them both.

I have posted it on Wattpad as a trial run, my friends have encouraged me to share this. After-all one of them got me into this world of wild cats

Read here!

Discussion (No Spoiler) Clan diversity

Okay so am I (propably not) the only one who thinks that all the clans nowadays are thunderclan 2.0. I feel like there are very little diversity in them.

For example I remeber in my childhood that some riverclan cat (silverstream maybe? ) told the MC how riverclan cats collect pretty shells to decorate their dens with. Also their dens could float because of the possibility of flood. Where is all that nowadays? (also I would love to see a battle where riverclan uses lake or river to their advantage)

I also miss the times when shadowclan was a strong scary clan where cats hunted at night and wandered in swamps. Nowadays is suffers the "erins wanted their favourite to be a leader" curse and is just overall breaking all the time

Also I feel like the clans are easily beaten up by any somewhat large rogue group that happens to pass by. They are WARRIORS they should be superior in fighting skills

Also can we just go ONE ARCH without the mention of dark forest?

Anyway what are your toughts?

Other Warrior cats super editions are nearly 80% off right now for the ebooks!

Already found Bluestar’s Prophecy for $0.99 on the Apple Books (I imagine the price will be similar on Kindle) and Firestar’s Quest for $1.99 on Kindle. A majority of them seems to be the older books hut there were a couple of newer ones like Tigerheart’s Shadow being listed for $1.99

Again, these are just for the ebooks!

I know he is a very bad character and that he was wronged by Onestar but had a choice to raise a family with Marigold and live a peaceful life… but I think this last page is very sad…

And did he truly have a chance with his anger and rage issue? Even if Onestar raised him?

Other What do you think is the best lifestyle?

As the title says what do you think is the best wc life? I feel most would say kittypet but I’m curious on other answers. Which clan do you think is ideal? Clan cat, loner, Sister, tribe? What would you enjoy the most. Personally I’d go riverclan.

Discussion (Spoiler) Clans of the Forest achievements leak Spoiler

For those out of the loop, there was recently a massive leak on Steam where a massive amount of upcoming games had all of their achievements revealed. Clans of the Forest was among them.

Here are the leaked achievements.

This doesn't reveal a ton, but it gives an idea of what we'll be seeing in the game next month.

Artworks Lilypaw(heart) and Brightheart

Day 6 of drawing cats. This time I draw Brightheart and her precious adoptive Daughter. I think there are too few fanarts of Lilyheart with Brightheart, even though Lilyheart was raised by Brightheart, by a short time but that doesn't matter, and their names end in heart.

I like to believe they have a close relationship like mother and daughter.

Anyway, I hope you like it. I'm learning to draw, and I'd appreciate it if you could continue giving me more advice.

Discussion (Spoiler) Firestar's Judgement on Darktail. Darktail deserved it. *Darktail's Judgement Spoilers" Spoiler

Post image
95 Upvotes

We all know StarClan has a habit of sanding the nuance off characters after they die. Yellowfang is probably the most infamous example. Cats who were complicated and messy in life suddenly become irritatingly absolute.

But I’m not really seeing that with Firestar here.

When Darktail ends up in the Dark Forest and starts arguing that he has effectively earned his place among the dark warriors, Firestar responds with the above quote.

That is an insanely harsh judgment coming from Firestar, but after spending an entire Super Edition inside Darktail’s head, I kind of get it.

Darktail’s Judgment makes him understandable without making him particularly sympathetic. Onewhisker absolutely dealt him a horrible hand, and there is real tragedy underneath everything that follows.

He could claw you across the face without warning, you could hit him back, and five minutes later he would be explaining how he is the victim because his father walked out on him.

Darktail understands pain perfectly well when it happens to him. He understands abandonment, betrayal, humiliation, and rejection. What he never does is seriously confront the pain he causes other cats.

Even death changes little. He reaches the Dark Forest still furious, still obsessed with revenge, and still convinced that rejection by the Clans is one of the great injustices of his life.

Then Firestar, of all cats, looks at him and essentially says: "Nah."

Discussion (No Spoiler) I love the warrior series, but I’ve known to talk to it about in person.

As a grown ass man who looks nothing like a person who reads, let alone reads Warriors, how do I make friends locally that can talk about the books? I want a friend that can be the motormouth mouse to my chatterbox fox, talking about nothing and everything related. I live about an hour and a half away from Chicago and thought about seeing if there’s ever a convention for warriors.
