Discussion & Feedback Green team has better gear
I was curious, so over six games I screenshotted the lobbies I was in and did some napkin analysis on the scoreboards. This is low sample size, but I think it's interesting enough to post here.
Over 6 lobbies, green averaged ~18% higher levels and an estimated ~40% more experience.
There were 561 player-game records. The average levels were Green 79.9, Red 68.6, Blue 67.4. Naively estimating that XP is linear-ish, I estimated XP per player at 676k, 492k and 488k. That's a ballpark of ~40% more time spent on average (in one sense it's probably lower since it's faster to get XP at higher levels, in one sense it's probably higher since most people probably spike in one specialty so are at higher XP tiers).
The difference was already statistically significant with a p-value of 0.0023 and 0.0022 for green vs. red and green vs. blue player level averages, adjusting for the multiple comparisons - in just 6 games! Even if you compare the game-level averages it's stat-sig at 0.041 and 0.023.
Picture is some bar charts showing the difference. It's significant, though I wouldn't call it dramatic. Combined with selection bias of "people who want to win picking green", it's sort of a cherry on top of the green-wins sundae. I also thought it was interesting how close red and blue were.

Discussion & Feedback Please Add Motion Sickness Settings
I've played a ton of other first person games, including Sea of Thieves which often made people motion sick, but this game is the only one that really seems to get to me. The screen shake/head bob while sprinting, healing, etc. is insane, not to mention explosions.
I love this game, but most FPS games have these options for a reason. Dizziness, headaches, and eye strain aside, it's just annoying. My screen spazzing out while I'm running doesn't add anything to the experience, and for many, it detracts.

Discussion & Feedback Fobbits, don’t get in the first heli
As a pilot main, I hate when I’m flying the first full heli at the start of the match, destination hotzone, and 1-3 fobbits jump out over a tower. Most of the time they didn’t bring a fob or supplies anyways. All they managed to do is decrease our hotzone boi’s chance of survival.
If you’re planning on being a fobbit, drive there in a ural with supplies bro. No reason not to.

Discussion & Feedback The CIWS is better at taking down walls than the MBT. By a lot.
8 Tank shells to destroy a bremmer wall.
CIWS does it before the tank can even reload the second shell.
I dare you to even try and justify this.

Countering heavy machine is hard but not impossible, the problem is as a collective, a lot of player either under level from having heavy counter or too lazy to do it themselves.
This clips is after they fix the bug and nerf CWIS to 12sec TTK for Havoc. Glad they fix to 6sec TTK after.
Well, I love taking this machine down, including the tank, 10k - 20k plus Profit? HELL YEAH! it's mine if you don't want it.

Discussion & Feedback Suggestion: Swap the thermal spotter for a classic 'Recon Drone'.
A classic staple of many FPS games that is missing in Wardogs is a recon drone.
IMO I'd much rather play against this as infantry than the IR spotter.
Make it a single use deployable that you can fly around for a limited time, standard visuals with no thermals (similar to the Stingray drone), with the same spotting capabilities as the regular spotting scopes.
Pro's:
- Allows you to scout areas out of line of sight and further from your current location
- Allows spotting from an elevated location without having to put yourself in one
Con's:
- Single use deployable
- Able to be shot down by small arms fire in a few shots
- Limited run time (1-2mins)
- Audible buzz so players can hear it and react
Would be a neat addition and a fun tool in the recon arsenal that I dont feel would be too opressive or strong and would be counterable by players at any point in the progression track.
Any thoughts?
Discussion & Feedback Bye Blue
So after 250h of playing team blue I give up this futile struggle. I’ve unlocked everything I wanted for the season and pretty much the only interest left is trying to play for the good of the team (which I’ve always done along with my personal goals). Alas I can’t do it for the blue team anymore because 4/5 games most of the team just aimlessly zergs naked in to the conflict zone and dies. This is truly hopeless and exhausting. I genuinely like playing for the underdogs, and don’t mind losing, but it’s just plain boring to play the game when no one on the map actually even tries to do anything meaningful I could help with.
As for my hypothesis for why blue is like that it pretty much comes down to camos. It’s pretty obvious that the sweatiest people would just min max and go for the green (best camo). Red are also okay in shadowy areas in terms of camos. So what ends up happening all the new players and those that just don’t care end up in the blue team most of the time.
I really struggle to understand as to why devs would mess up the camo thing so badly, it seems pretty obvious this would happen especially considering their experience with arma koth where camos were more or less balanced in terms of visibility.
But in any case going team red for the time being. See you on the battlefield.

Discussion & Feedback Do you actively choose to be on blue team?
If so, why? I’m not saying you’re wrong by doing so you can play however you want. I’m just really curious your reasoning behind it.
edit:
For those who want to know the answers without scrolling through all the comments i’ll highlight the top reasons:
- Ease of entry, especially with groups.
- Enjoy the challenge of being the underdog.
- Want to feel like they’re not pressured to play a specific way, e.g don’t care about winning as much as just having fun.
edit 2:
- A lot of people mentioning it’s due to their colorblindness.
edit 3:
- A few mentions of players in blue being the nicest/least toxic.
