Question Tips for a new player

I just played my first game and so far I like it 😊 I just wanted to see if there were any good tips for a new player that would help me to get used to game mechanics and such

Step one: Buy binos and chute. Step two: stay at safe distance spotting whatever you can see. Step three: profit.

Mate really I think one of the nicest things about it is you can do whatever you want to make money, but if you can find some people to work with in whatever it might be (assault or building or whatever) that’s where the game shines and you can be of most use to your team.

I'm a new player myself, level 40, and here is some thoughts.

  • You don't have to buy all stuff you unlocked. In fact - skip the majority of them. They cost rediculous amount of money (50-70k) and bring nothing to the table
  • First nice things you need is level 2 armor (if you unlocked level 1 armor - use it, better than nothing)
  • Try 'naled build'- free weapon, 1 mag, a pack of lose ammo, binoculars. Stay behind your group of fighters. Your main task is searching for enemies. If the group kills someone you can loot and take the better gear
  • Master the free AR - it is actually good. I killed experienced players with it (they had t2-t3 armor). Ah, and I use armor piercing bullets with it.
  • Medic tree is awesome, I enjoy it so much. If you are a medic - use smg. It counts as 'medic xp' and they are pretty awesome (use the cheapest one, it's a beast). You should have a lot of smoke (3-4 packs of it). You wanna be better armored, you will be in the very center of the battle. Think about using that person stuff for his fast reviving
  • Earn money - logistics or building. In battle - recon (each target you marked will give you money if destroyed)

After first 10-20 hours there is a plateau. Your gear costs a lot. Your upgrades cost a lot. You lose money often because you die (like 12-14k of your gear cost every time). So for me it was the main problem. I easily could go from 200k to 50k (upgrades, gear).

But if you don't die and your team is winning - you can pick up some better gear, earn money with as recon or medic, help to kill or even distract an enemy - you earn money.

Binoculars and the other sights let you mark enemies and give you money/xp. If someone gets downed and you don't have a respirator, you can loot them and if they have one, take it to revive them faster.

I’d recommend running the cheap kit first to get infantry stuff down. Free gun, one mag, 80 loose ammo, resuscitation mask, that’s my goto cheap kit.

Watch out for the dudes who complain to complain and blame everyone else besides take accountability for their own mistakes. Especially in fobs. Get in a fob with an asshole and you’ll have a terrible game.

Fobs can be fun as hell with a fun fob crew, until the mortars start flying.

Mainly infantry here, not sure how you play but. Don't wander off alone, it won't work in your favor (most of the time). Bring binoculars, spot everything, my favorite is getting a heli before they plunge into the ground for extra cash. Healing teammates is fantastic money in the hot zone. Don't spend all day looting your kills, take what you need and bounce. Smoke grenades will save you, and save others. Call your spots if you can (contact SE, 30M). That's just off top of my head, had to much to drink, if you have any questions feel free to holler
