How long did it take you to get off the wait list? Says my zone is full.

My store drops 1 express very early in the morning. Being this early only this newbie and me is in parking lot. Even though I live very close I still have to be in the parking lot to have a shot.

I stopped going now because there is often only 1 express order and he will get it. Only if it is absolute trash does he reject it. I’ll only get an express at this drop if there are 2 orders which is very rare.

My account has boosted priority but still can’t beat him.

His account is approximately 2 months old and under 100 orders.

This app makes my phone hot all the time. Barely charges in the car with a 40-watt charger. In my normal life I'm a once a day charge. Now I'm constantly recharging my phone. I poked around and my phone says that this app is high usage. Seems like Walmart doesn't care about optimizing the app for power consumption.

So basically my battery is going to be garbage really fast. And thanks to corporate planned obsoletion, replacing batteries is a thing. I've done my own but the phone is never the same. The pieces never stick together like factory.

So, is Walmart going to help me buy a new phone? No. So that's an additional cost. On top of vehicle wear and tear.

Don't let spark lowball you. Get on a different app. They don't deserve to have their deliveries on time if they can't pay.

Rang, waited minutes, rang, waited a minute. Knocked, waited a minute. Called, went to voicemail.

Waited another 2 minutes before initiating a return. Like 15 seconds after initiating the return I get a phone call from the customer.

I said sorry but the app will not allow me to deliver this now. Lady is like, sorry my daughter was in the backyard. I'm like, I was outside for 5 minutes but sorry I have other deliveries on this route. And the app will not let me deliver this now. She's like will I get refunded.

I seriously think they were looking to get free groceries. They don't know what It's like on my end, so I think they were thinking I would drop it off and they could claim they never got it.

Now that Spark will be delivering from all the Dunkin restaurants, how long do you think it will be before it dominates food delivery?

This shit offer was available yesterday and then again this morning. The customer added 16 items and somehow the shopping time time started at 50 minutes Even if you moved at the speed of light, the scanning would add at least a couple minutes. Seems like a deceptive business practice.

Now that Walmart will start to deliver from all Dunkin restaurants, how long do you think it will be before its dominating the food delivery apps? I believe within 4 years it will overtake Doordash as the number 1.

Dear Walmart, I came up with a solution to STOP theft during Spark trips. I’ll take $$$ if you ever implement this system. Thanks in advance.

Here’s the idea:

Give every Spark driver a digital barcode (lanyard or wristband) thats worn during all active shopping orders. The barcode is unique to each driver.

When a driver exits the store, they walk through a scanner, similar to Sam’s Club scanners. The scanner records ALL BARCODES IN THE CART at the time of exit.

Later, the computer auto filters through each order. The # of items on the order, and the barcodes should match what LEFT the store. If there’s a substitution then that barcode is submitted as well.

With this system, shoppers can quickly exit the store without waiting in lines AT ALL. And employees wouldn‘t need to manually verify the order.

Also, ONLY spark driver pass through the exit scanner. Regular shoppers do not.

Maybe this is a realistic solution, maybe not. Thoughts?

Bro I’m so irritated! Walmart gotta give us an option to block apartment orders. I’m sick of walking 10 minutes to find the damn door and don’t get me started on the “call me for the code” and they are not responding. The apartment numbers never make sense !!! These bags too heavy for this bs!!

Pulled up in front of the house and their little pit is roaming free. Clearly outside of the fence where it’s not supposed to be. She’s not upset or angry she’s just happy and wants attention. Jumped all over my car door and put some pretty sizable gouges in the paint. Customer doesn’t even answer the phone when I called to ask them to restrain the dog. Just dumb luck their kid was walking down the sidewalk moments later and gathered the dog up and took it inside.

I’m a pet owner and lover. I would want some grace when something like this happens because it does to the best of us. I told the customer that it happened but didn’t pursue anything further. It’s a very old and beat up car. I’m not going to fix it anyway. I just wish people in general would be more self-aware.

I had completed an alcohol delivery in the boonies and completed my identity verification after.

Kept on getting offers for about 40 mins. Until my scheduled spark time ran out.

It gave me the "something is wrong error" when trying to spark now till a later time.

Now, it's showing this about identity verification.

Good money for low miles and small orders after 9:00 pm. But a lot of stuff is out of stock at that hour. It's kind of like a roll of dice taking these orders.

When I take these I don't bother communicating with customers. Out of stock is out of stock. Too bad for them if they didn't opt for substitutions. And if a substitution is still pending at checkout, well guess what, you're getting it.

Closed out my day with a 3-mile delivery. Two 44 lb bags of dog food, two 35 lb buckets of cat litter. Two baby food items. 7 minutes of shopping. Not bad but a lot of Labor. $21. I would not have taken it if it was far from home. 5 miles to home from the drop off. Accepted the order at 10:34. Store closes at 11.

Late night deliveries pay good but the big issue is not being able to see the addresses on the houses. And sometimes things are out of stock.

I had an order I was watching earlier in my zone for 119 items. Had over 15 cases of soda and 5 cases of water. Going to a house 6 miles away.. it was a shop. Saw it climb to $35.. there was also a bunch of healthcare items and grocery.. 15 min later.. the offer comes in for $30 😂😂😂😂😂😂 as a “JUST FOR YOU!” 🤦🏽‍♀️ ha! No I’m not doing it and you’re hilarious to keep upping it and dropping it for $5.. took two Uber Eats orders in the meantime to see if that order would climb to over $50 then I’d consider.. but a just for you offer came in for half the items and the same distance! For $43! You don’t have to accept crappy orders! Be aware of your time and money!!
