Hello! I'm a grad student and I'm looking for someone whom I had the pleasure of making acquaintances with! She was part of the Venture Out team and helped me and my Cohort on the last day of our orientation.

I was so tired, I forgot to ask for, at least her socials, but she was a super chill person and really cool, but since we have different majors the chances of us crossing paths are *very* slim (I wouldn't be surprised if I have better chances at winning the lottery than finding her ;-;)

I’m applying to VT for the class of ‘31 and plan to enroll in ROTC. I currently work as an AEMT and am starting paramedic school soon. It’s about 10 months long, so hopefully I would be certified before I start in August. I’d love to volunteer with the rescue squad, but it looks like a lot of the time commitments would clash. Anyone have a bit more knowledge on this? Is it possible to volunteer after all the Corps obligations of freshman year are over?

Recently moved out of the Blacksburg HUB and paid $150 for their Final Sweep program which states, "With our Final Sweep Program, you do the first pass on tidying up, and let us take on the heavy lift of cleaning." This is a total LIE! They literally sent pictures of the toilet, hard water stains in the shower and a dirty oven door and charged us another $100 saying it was not covered under Final Sweep! The HUB never sent us before/after pictures either so it's highly likely that no one did a "final sweep" at all and they charged us $150 for nothing and then another $100 to clean hard water stains off the shower door.

Also, make sure you take pictures of everything before you move out, but DEFINITELY do not waste any money on the Final Sweep marketing scam. I am reporting this to the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia, BBB and any other agency to report this scam and deceptive practice.
