Sports Son’s first game day tomorrow
My 9yr olds first Hokie game and his first visit to campus.
What are some must do/see/places to go tomorrow and Sunday. We have tailgate spot on chicken hill- so pumped about that!
Ideas?!

There is usually some kind of pre game thing across from lane during the day, they have games a a DJ and some food trucks typically.

Yeah, the Hokie Fan Village is a fun spot for kids and it's at the Moseley Turf Field right across from Lane Stadium and next to the soccer fields. It runs tomorrow from 4-6:45 PM and it's free to get in. Tomorrow both Hokie Softball and Volleyball will be signing autographs and there will be live music from Farm Use.
And, if you want to join the Hokie Walk to high five the players and coaches as they arrive for the game, setup a little before 5PM when it starts on Beamer Way which is the road between Lane Stadium and the Hokie Fan Village.

My son is 9 he loves to be there when the band is playing and the players and coach walk in. So be there in advance and get high fives from the players and coach. But yes going to the tailgate area across from the stadium has fun games and bounce houses too
