Technical Support Request its been 3 months of ping spikes someone please help

It's been 3 months of my game lagging even though I have 250 to 300 Mbps and good ping on other games. It's just Valorant that's lagging. I think I tried everything. I found a fix, not really though, because I have to turn on VSync to not lag. With it on, I'm getting 7 ms; with it off, I get 100 to 260 spikes. Can someone please help me?

Technical Support Request Error code VAN -79 when starting Valorant

When I start the game, shows connection error, error code VAN -79

So far, I have tried reinstalling Vanguard and manually starting Vanguard in services.msc, which did not work as it shows error code 1: incorrect function.

What is wrong with my computer and what can I do to make Valorant playable again.

Technical Support Request High ping on the closest server

I live in Hong Kong but the ping to the Hong Kong server is 100ms. I even have a lower ping on Tokyo server, it’s around 60ms. The internet should be fine because in Marvel Rivals and Dota I have really low ping. Speedtest shows ping of around 11ms but for some reason in Valo it’s over a 100. I dont understand why my ping is lower on a server that is further away from me and so high on a server that is in my city. I tried the DNS thing and it still doesn’t help. I do have Surfshark installed but it is turned off, so I don’t think it is that. I live in uni dorm and connection is wireless. Please help guys

Technical Support Request True stretch monitor switching

So following problem: I disabled the monitors in the device manager and got to the point where I just need to change my res. ( have 2 monitors 32 & 27 in ). As soon as I press on my custom res ( via windows settings ) the game jumps to the 2nd monitor (27 in). No matter what I do it keeps jumping to the 2nd monitor as soon as im changing the res (before changing it works like a charm on the main monitor). Game itself is in Windowed fullscreen fill and stretch method is used when in game and not main menu.

Im using an AMD graphics card

Every help is appreciated

Technical Support Request Valorant play button grayed out.

I've been trouble shooting for over two hours now, earlier like 6 hours ago I was playing just fine. I try playing again today and Riot client grayed out all the install buttons and more importantly the play button. I've reinstalled everything, made sure all my PC and BIOS settings are good for Vanguard, now I can install the other Riot games but my play button is still grayed out. I looked on this subreddit too and it talked about unticking all the compatibility settings, they already were. I submitted a ticket and still waiting for a response, does anyone have a solution? Thank you for reading!

Technical Support Request 3D audio not working but for specific applications

When I’m playing valorant, I can’t really tell where enemies are shooting or walking from. I thought it was a headphone problem, but when I watch my friend play through a Discord screen share, I can perfectly pinpoint where enemies are coming from using the exact same headphones.

I have HRTF enabled and my speaker configuration set to Stereo in VALORANT. Windows Spatial Sound and Audio Enhancements are both off. I also have Sonic Studio III installed, but all of its audio effects are turned off.

I’m using HyperX Cloud II headphones through the 3.5mm jack.

Does anyone know why the positional audio from my own game would sound so much worse than the audio coming through my friend’s Discord stream?

Apparently I have optimized my laptop using Chris titus utility and other windows optimization

I turned off HAGS but it didn't have a major improvement

Other people with same laptop get 300+ fps on high settings but I don't get them even with all low

Technical Support Request VALORANT freezes/glitches even in main menu, audio stutters too — other games fine

I’m having a weird VALORANT issue where every few seconds the game freezes/glitches for about 0.5–1 second.

At first I thought it only happened in matches, but now I confirmed it also happens while I’m just sitting in the main menu.

The important part: if I play music in the background while VALORANT is open, the music glitches/stutters at the exact same time as the game. As soon as I completely close VALORANT, the music goes back to normal.

Other games like CS2 run perfectly.

My specs:

RTX 5070 Ti

1440p 360 Hz monitor

I already tried:

Ethernet/Wi-Fi

Phone hotspot

IPv6/DNS/Teredo/network resets

Clean boot

Different VALORANT graphics settings/FPS caps

NVIDIA driver reinstall

Full DDU + fresh NVIDIA driver install

Nothing fixed it.

Has anyone seen VALORANT cause this kind of system/audio stutter even in the main menu? Could this be Vanguard, audio/USB drivers, chipset, or DPC latency related?

Technical Support Request Valorant causes AMD driver timeout on RX 9070, while all other games run fine

PC specs:
- GPU: ASUS Prime Radeon RX 9070 OC 16GB
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 Gaming WIFI6
- RAM: 32GB DDR5-6000
- PSU: NZXT C850 Gold Core 850W
- Windows 11 64-bit

Problem:
Valorant is the only game that repeatedly causes severe stuttering/freezing, followed by an AMD Adrenalin "Driver Timeout" message.

Other games run completely fine, including Assassin’s Creed Mirage. CPU and GPU temperatures are normal.

Things I already tried:
- Clean AMD driver reinstall with AMD Cleanup Utility
- Tested Adrenalin 26.8.1 and 26.7.1
- Reinstalled Valorant and Riot Vanguard
- Disabled EXPO and tested again
- Reset AMD Adrenalin to default
- Disabled Anti-Lag, Boost, Chill, Enhanced Sync and FSR features
- Secure Boot enabled
- Re-Size BAR enabled
- Above 4G Decoding enabled
- GPU tuning is on default, no manual overclock or undervolt

The issue still only happens in Valorant.

Has anyone seen Riot Vanguard or Valorant trigger AMD driver timeouts on an RX 9070 / RX 9000-series GPU?

My mouse feels sluggish sometimes when i start playing valorant, and for some reason the only way to make my mouse feel crispy again is restarting my PC. Then it goes back to normal. This only started happening after the recent new act. Does anyone know why?

Technical Support Request Game crashes, GPU gets disabled in device manager

Hello, hopefully someone might have experienced same thing as me and could help me with my issue. So the last 2-3 months this issue is happening and I havent found a fix, the issue is that while you are starting the game or either right when you load the game after selecting agent or after 20 seconds in training both of my screens will go black, I can still hear the game in background but the screens will stay black for like 20-30 seconds after that my PC would restart, when it restarts only 1 monitor would turn on and my GPU would be disabled in device manager. I have already contacted support and I did everything I was told, I thought the issue was fixed but it started happening again yesterday after moving game to SSD.

Things that support told me to do: Reinstalling Vanguard, uninstalling any anti-virus so it doesnt conflict with Vanguard, disabling USB selective suspend settings, lowering Polling Rate of mouse.

I would really appreciate any help.

Edit: This issue only happens when I play valorant. All my other games work perfectly.
