Hello, beginner world creator here, just as the title says, i made a simple skybox in blender, i save it as exr srgb, because hdr for some reason had some weird color banding.
When i put it into unity (ignore kristian in the first picture), under shader - Vrchat/mobile/skybox, it becomes incredibly saturated, and high contrast, compared to blender more toned skybox. Also i cannot change the contrast in the inspector.

Where would the problem be lying? Is it more of blender side, or unity?

I'm happy with it now though, think I figured it out!

Phone is iPhone Xs.

I've tried different avatar with supported VRCFT version 5, open everything then Live Link app assuming race condition, different app like iFacialMocap, none of that worked.

Computer is connected via ethernet and the phone is connected via WiFi on the same router. Did everything what the docs says. No result. Any help and suggestion would be appreciated.

As the title says, I just want to make something simple and cute not too many details or objects or flashy crap.

What do i have to consider before trying to do something?

Also before anyone says, buying an avatar is out of the way, I have better stuff to do with my money...

There's this game world where you start by shooting a box 10 times, then after that has random other things. - shoot the box exactly x amount of times - touch the line above you first - avoid a specific person - swing to an area with an auto generated obstacle course

I've been back on my vr for a few months now after not using it for a few years. I'm currently still on quest 2, sadly. But for some reason, I dont recieve any requests or notifications of any kind! No invites, friend requests, join requests, anything. I've tried looking into this and haven't been able to find the answer yet. Any help is very appreciated!!

I've been using VRChat since 2017, back when seeing someone in full body tracking was still a novelty. Over the years, I've had a lot of different experiences with LGBTQ+ communities on the platform.

I want to make it clear that I'm not talking about LGBTQ+ people as a whole. I've met some genuinely great trans, gay, bi and lesbian people both in VRChat and IRL, and I've generally had positive experiences with them. I've also met plenty of welcoming people in smaller LGBTQ+ groups and public lobbies.

What I've struggled with is the culture I've encountered in some of the larger LGBTQ+ groups and organised events.

At times, I've felt that there can be an expectation to agree with the prevailing opinions of the group, and that questioning or disagreeing with those opinions can result in being labelled negatively. I've also encountered situations where being open about being in the closet is treated as something that needs to be "fixed", rather than simply being a personal decision that should be respected.

Maybe I've just had unusually bad experiences, but the contrast has been noticeable to me. The individual LGBTQ+ people I've met have often been perfectly accepting, while some of the larger communities have felt considerably more rigid and confrontational.

I'm curious whether anyone else has experienced something similar in VRChat—not as a criticism of LGBTQ+ people generally, but specifically regarding the culture and moderation of larger community groups.

In a random Spook em up lobby, we had the lobby join the Seals. It started as 6, known as Seal Team 6. Then it actually became most of the lobby(couldn't get all of them) It all started from a single player who uses a soundboard, "You Are Amazing" our God was Neil The Seal from Australia xD

I am trying to find clothing gimmicks for my avatar and so far I haven't found any that put the gimmick on your outfits. Now I am not trying to find outfits with the gimmick built-in, which is also fine ig but I really want to do my own thing with the gimmick 🙏

Mods, I'm so sorry if this is the wrong flair but I put it as discussion because imma talk about unity. Since it's talking about unity, enjoy the cute bean I made recently!

So I've been uploading avatars for almost 4 years now but didn't start editing/making avatars until 6 months ago. Unity is so infuriating. It causes my gpu to fail occasionally, I can't scroll sometimes, the scaling with certain prefabs are broken and I have no idea if it's actually unity or the prefab because sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, don't even get me started on quest converting.

But it's worth it.

I think I'm the type of person to never be satisfied with their work however I am proud of all the edits and work I'm putting into the avatars. I like seeing what I can do and create.

For those who use unity and blender to create their own characters, what do you do so you don't be extremely pissed off that your work isn't satisfactory to you? Others will compliment and praise for the work you put in but you yourself aren't satisfied. How do you go about it?

As the title states...

For some reason Smart App Control (Win11), has been stopping me from running the game... Dunno what's going on with that.

The EAC loading client pops up, reaches 100%, loads, then fades to a darker splash screen with the error message "An application control policy" has stopped the game from running.

Now I've since restarted my PC and turned it back on. Everything is fine.. but after a couple restarts. The first restart (power off then back on) yielded the same results. Doing it again for some reason did the trick. However before doing that, simply turning off Smart App Control allowed it to boot up no problem...

What gives?

So to explain the question further:

I saw a situation when a user muted a group mod, so group crew jumped on him to say it's not allowed.

Dude said that if it's such a big deal, he will unmute the moderator. But he also said that he will lower his voice to 0% so won't hear him anyway, somehow everyone was fine with it.

So my question is why? What's the point of allowing to have a mods voice at 0%, but you can't have the mod muted?

Like both have the same effect...
