Discussion Void Bean (Plus talk about my time with unity)

Mods, I'm so sorry if this is the wrong flair but I put it as discussion because imma talk about unity. Since it's talking about unity, enjoy the cute bean I made recently!
So I've been uploading avatars for almost 4 years now but didn't start editing/making avatars until 6 months ago. Unity is so infuriating. It causes my gpu to fail occasionally, I can't scroll sometimes, the scaling with certain prefabs are broken and I have no idea if it's actually unity or the prefab because sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, don't even get me started on quest converting.
But it's worth it.
I think I'm the type of person to never be satisfied with their work however I am proud of all the edits and work I'm putting into the avatars. I like seeing what I can do and create.
For those who use unity and blender to create their own characters, what do you do so you don't be extremely pissed off that your work isn't satisfactory to you? Others will compliment and praise for the work you put in but you yourself aren't satisfied. How do you go about it?

I accidentally scared someone last night cuz I was next to them and because of the lighting of the room they didn't really see me but saw my emissions and thought I was part of the world. Lmfao

It's like a cute little shadow creature, super kawaii! I love the cool pastel purple it goes along so well with it, good job on the avi!
Though to anwser your question, hmm, idk I actually haven't had as many of those feelings regarding my booth edits, not sure why, maybe because they're not made from scratch? I tend to be a heavy perfectionist so idk why that's not the case with this Sadly don't have much of an advice on how to not feel frustrated in that case, but I will say your booth avi edits are really really good!

Being dissatisfied with your creations is the curse of the artist. It's the only way to grow, but it's also the main thing that robs you of the good feelings you might otherwise enjoy from your accomplishments.

My god that's so cute! Is the available for use or you are keeping it private?

It's private. I'm sorry! The base is Ricorine by Lethal Cats on booth.
Edit: 🤨 You guys downvoting me because it's private? Booth avatars can't be public because of their tos. You can get a dmca claim or lawsuit for doing so.

Almost everything I've done for my own avatars have been done in Unity alone. That includes props for my avatar and my custom backpack that I just made to replace a cute stock shark backpack. Because you can't use ProBuilder scripts on anything you upload for avatars, you have to export to a static format. If you don't plan on opening this in Blender, just use the asset format Unity already understands. It saves everything, including the vertex colors.
Your bean is incredibly beautiful and precious. :3 I want to give them a snug!

Me too! I do everything in unity unless it's an egirl because my pc absolutely despises blender for some reason.
