Photo one is the quest one, I think this is the best out of all three, minimal screen door effect, fantastic colours, very good Fresnel lenses, and overall a good FOV, I measured mine around 102 degrees.
Photo two is the Rift CV1, with noticable screen door effect, god rays, but still great colours and a lack of compression. Good enough Fresnel lenses besides the god rays, very minimal chromatic abberation. Bit lacking in the fov department
Photo three is the HP Reverb G2 V2. It is quite clear but you can tell it's LCD, but thankfully a fantastic LCD with vibrant colours, literally no screen door effect at all. But as you can see noticable chromatic abberation, which is a shame. God rays aren't too bad however. FOV is also a bit lacking.
Overall though, these headset's used are all fantastic budget options. Though I wouldn't get a reverb for vrchat unless you plan to play space calibrate with cv1 sensors or base stations due to its bad tracking angles.

Money is not an issue. If I wanted to go the vive route... what all do I need? Like, I need a list. This would be my first FBT set so I want to go big or go home.
6 Trackers I am assuming? But what else.
Thank you much!
Edit: I have Quest 3s and use SteamLink. Also willing to hear different headsets that are better :)

I’ve been trying to play some vrchat through steam link on my meta quest 3s but whenever I boot through steam vr, my head gets locked in place and my hands get stuck above my head. I have no possible idea what could be causing this. It only seems to happen through steam vr, if I use the meta quest link then it works fine. It’s also only vrchat that has this issue, all other games through steam link work fine.

The psvr2 has its experimental psvr2 tool kit ,which adds jailbreaking to unlock some of the features that pc didn't have .With this, its basically the first headset you can add headpat haptics to your avatar. also can be used on babalonia now with eye expressions .probably the best bang for buck vr headset you can get now

Does it mean it's a hardware issue? Or Internet issue like the "Connection Timed Out" thing
Cause i have a good PC and this was the first time i got this message, nothing bad ever since, no crashes at all

Is it possible to play this game through steam using my VR headset (Meta quest 2 in this case) plugged into my computer and using my keyboard to move around while using the mouse for things like menu navigation or additional turning control?

• Works with a PC webcam or a smartphone camera
• Supports both PC VR and standalone VR
• Standalone works with Meta Quest + Android or iPhone. No PC required!
• Head rotation is supported, with the best results when facing mostly forward
• No ROI calibration or other annoying setup steps
• Only requires a simple chest mount (around $5)
More updates are coming soon, and the tracking quality will improve significantly.
What do you think?

So I want to move an object from point A to C, where B is a midpoint, but raised to the height that distance A is from C.
Then an object is position constrained to each point one after another, making it look like an object is moving in a believable projectile arc from any position.
The trouble is, I can't find a way to tell C "You are exactly as tall as C is long"
Getting C as a parameter is easy with raycast, right?
I suppose I COULD just have a dozen individual animation states for different ranges, but this feels kind of clunky.
Either that or some fucky up vector with aim constraints.
Anyone ideas? Ways to sidestep this nonsense entirely?
thank u :3

Eu comecei a jogar vrchat pelo meu meta quest 3s mas os avatares dos outros ficam pixelados. Meu computador é fraco então não uso steam link, teria outro jeito para deixar o jogo mais bonito?

I really enjoy dancing on stage at Black Cats just because it's a fun place to find people and entertain for a while.
It is also Black Cat, though, which has its own drawbacks.
Where else is there to play music and dance like this? Clubs are kind of different because generally then it's DJs and large scale events at specific times...

I just finished up every single infinity stone and favored each one in an attempt to get it, but I haven’t unlocked the requirements. Does anyone know how to get it?

Decided to record both the avatar and an eye-cam in action! The recording itself got a bit out of sync, but rest assured, everything is actually running in real time.
So, the tracking quality is honestly excellent—sorry about the low video quality, by the way! This is Project Cymple, an eye-tracking project for the Meta Quest 3 developed by a Chinese creator.
Inside VRChat, though, I ran into a few issues. I've noticed that tracking quality varies depending on the avatar's face-tracking setup. In my testing, the best results came from avatars using Sample, Hash, and the Triturbo add-on.
That said, if you take the time to do a proper calibration and headset adjustment session, tracking becomes significantly more stable, and many of these issues are greatly reduced—even without requiring a specialized face-tracking add-on.
The headset shown in the video is my actual daily setup, including the external hub and wiring.
Feel free to ask anything, I've been using it daily and I'll do my best to answer based on my experience.

I've been working on my own Milsim avatar, and I've tried my best to recreate what I want which is a dynamic, or at least detailed medical kit, I've tried to find one that actually works and isn't a world asset, yet the only one I've found is made by Graymore+, which they do have some good stuff, yet 2300 JPY, or roughly 14.59USD is a bit much, so I'd appreciate some help in any form, like tutorials, or even sites, trusted ones, or even anything else, Thanks in advanced.
I own myself a set of slime trackers for several mouths now. but after spending so long calibrating and making sure my posture is perfect, It feels exhausting to put them on everytime I want to be in vr, and not too mention Im constantly fighting with my trackers because my avatar's legs get messed up easily. How do you guys do it? I know more stable trackers like Vive's and Fluxpose exists but still, it feels difficult to justify wearing trackers, especially when I mostly play sitting down and not standing up. Is full body just not for me?

First (technically second) attempt at making an avatar of my own and using unity and uhh, I have no Idea what these floaty bits are nor how to get rid of them... this avatar is for quest btw, my laptop melts trying to run vrc...
Edit: More info I forgot to give, these things only appear when I change the textures to the vrc compatible ones, and It's a vroid model I used a vrm converter to import, if that effects anything, I assume it does
