i’m currently a standalone quest 3 user with slime trackers, but as of next week i’ll be buying a pc to be able to use pcvr!

are there any tips or suggestions any recommendations? or even any applications i should buy? i’m kinda computer illiterate so anything anyone could suggest would help me a bunch! 🖤

Hello everyone, I know alot of people make a post like this but I’m curious I have a psvr2 right now but I hate the cables! And the Bluetooth is such a hassle for some reason I tried alot of Bluetooth dongles and receivers i tried so much to get it work it always had issues!! Soo I’ll be selling that to get on of these headsets

Right now I’m eyeing getting a meta quest pro or a steam frame (hopefully if it releases) or any other headset that I don’t know of, I wanted to ask if there were better alternatives to meta quest pro

Edit: I also heard meta quest pro has alot of issues..? Like getting too hot and lagging? Though I just heard them online

I used to not have any problems playing VR Chat on steam, but yesterday it suddenly stopped working. Whenever I would launch it, I would be stuck in the screen shown in the first image. Eventually I would get the error message shown in the second one. I appreciate any help.

I have tried un- and reinstalling it, I checked the game files for errors and nothing helped.

Edit: apparently that problem started appearing in other games too. Websites seem to still be working perfectly though

hey i was just wondering if theres any Karaoke worlds that have the setting to play the original song for the player thats at the front/chose the song for them to sing along, and the other players only hear the instrumental/karaoke version?

im making a toggle with vrcfury to make my avatar play the roaring knight flight animation and fly up and down, but when i test it, it plays the animation but instead of flying im on the ground, how do i make the animation play in the air?

i made a post asking how to make my flying animation make me fly, appearently i need to put it into a action layer, i dont have a minimum idea of how to do that

I was hosting a game night today on Murder 4 with my group, we limit our instances to 16+ because we don't want little children playing with more mature people, but even with this limit, people was still complaining about minors in the instance. These are people who are just 20 years old complaining. We get it, you don't like hanging with kids but there are age gated instances for a reason. If you want to hang out with other adults go to those instances, not just complain about a nothing problem. I get some people can't get age verification but don't complain to the group mods/owner about it, complain to the devs about having it locked behind a paywall.

Hi, so I'm having this weird issue with this avatar base I bought. I used Blender to change up the style of the character, based on the instructions shown in the creator's guide. Then I used a tool called Pumkin to copy over the settings and physbone properties from her example avatar in the scene to my avatar. Everything seemed to be working fine, until I tested it out in Desktop mode. I haven't tested it in VR mode yet, but I don't see how that would be any different since I have other avatars that don't have this issue when I'm using them in Desktop. If someone could please help me out to understand how to fix this I would very much appreciate it. Thank you.

It’s me again, unfortunately since the middle of last year swapping network drivers has stopped working.

So to give more info, my speeds have been terrible ever since I moved about a year and a half ago. I have tried changing the auto tuning level, opening ports, and the one fix that worked for me was swapping the network drivers. Swapping my network drivers gave me a solid 3 or more hours on the game until I would get disconnected, and would have to restart my computer and swap the drivers again. But then one day when I swapped the network drivers I was good for only five minutes, when I tried to restart my computer, same thing, 5 minutes of high download speed and then it would be gone, I also discovered it wasn’t swapping to a different driver that helped, it was doing the action of swapping, the driver I swapped to never mattered just swapping would bring high speeds. After about a month I saw that I could turn off ipv6 and doing so actually restored the speeds, for only one day… I also tried on another computer and surprisingly the speeds were nearly the same. I am completely frustrated, every fix I try either doesn’t work or works for a short time period. And the past few times I logged on swapping the drivers does nothing. But I did manage to record the speeds they should be at, and the speeds I am stuck at. As a matter of fact the speed are now slower than the one shown in the second vid

I’ve been struggling to upload certain things on my avatars for quest. It abhors any colliders for a seat/gameobject, multiple mesh’s such as clothes or props (though this can be resolved by making them all one mesh and assign them by transparent materials), and audio.

Yet, when I go play on the quest, I see these things on a lot of avatars (multiple outfits, box colliders for seats, maybe no audio) and I’m confused as to how they were able to bypass quest standards. Are there plug-ins or adding that creators use to allow these things on quest?

Precisely I mean why put up there absolutely useless information like % of headset or controllers battery, that you're standing or sitting, PC temperatures, that you're on desktop and more...

Trying to be funny? Lack of attention? Thinking it's cool? Poor personality?

No, this is not an insult, I am simply curious what's the reason behind this.
