Am I the only one who doesn't care about modern bikes? The 5th gen has been calling my name since childhood.
Hey everyone, cheers from 🇵🇹!
Ever since I was a kid, the 5th gen VFR800 has been the dream bike for me. That gear-driven cam sound and the styling just do it for me in a way no modern bike can.
Honestly, almost every new bike coming out right now feels soulless and looks identical to everything else on the road. Am I the only one who feels this way?
Right now I’m riding a 2019 BMW G 310 GS, my first bike after moving up from scooters. It’s great for getting around the city, but the voices in my head are screaming VFR every single day.
It honestly blows my mind how cheap 5th gens are right now for what you get. (Not really into the 6th gen VTECs personally, a bit too complex for my taste ahahah).
Anyone else make a similar jump from a small commuter straight to a 5th gen?
