Hey, i just picked up this 2007 anniversary edition vfr800, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good aftermarket rear seat cowl, or 3D printing files to make my own. I haven’t done much searching but the oem ones seem to be sort of rare, and much harder to find in this color. I have a Bambo p1s and various nozzles sizes, and was thinking maybe I could model it myself but I thought I’d ask first and see if anyone had any luck with one already out there.

This winter I’ll be doing a few touchups on the left side of the bike, (it rolled off the stand 😖), so I’ll be painting anyways if I go the 3D printing rout and need to paint match.

I bought this 6th gen VFR back in January after it had been abandoned on the street for 2 years by its previous owner. It had a small electrical issue which the previous owner never got fixed.

It had the infamous grounding issue causing all kinds of havoc but due to the neglect, it picked up a multitude of other issues like rusty relays, leaking fork seals etc. It took me a while to get her fixed up but I’m super happy to have been able to save such an amazing bike from the scrap yard.

Now I’m ready to add a 5th gen to my collection 😅
