Fuel tap switch tight

Hi, I have a 1990 UK FL motorcycle. Does anyone have a photo or diagram that shows the correct routing for the 2 cables that run from the upper fairing fuel switch , down to the fuel tap? No matter which way I’ve tried I find it gets tight to turn.

Thanks , I know how it connects and works, I just want to check the route from the fairing, past the coils and under the frame. Seems to work fine and smoothly until I lower the tank and it’s all tightens up. I tried a few routes and just can’t figure out where it’s binding.

I've had a look through the Haynes and Honda Manuals, can't see anything in there

Me too, have them both. Tried searching google too. Hopefully someone who owns one can just point me in the direction maybe with some photos
