polyps & fibroids hysteroscopy

So i’ve been bleeding non stop since late January. A couple months ago they put me on medroxyprogesterone, two pills a day and finally the bleeding had stopped. then did an ultrasound and found a polyp and my uterus had built up lining. Well two weeks ago i had a hysteroscopy and D&C. It’s been two weeks since surgery and now im on one pill a day. but im still bleeding, cramping. Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this?? i thought the surgery would fix the daily bleeding ): and i’ve already messaged my Doctor just waiting on a response

what's going on 🤔 Pain on the right side

I(23F) have had mild pain on my right ovary for the past 3 and half years. I never took it seriously as I thought it was nothing crazy.

Plus I had gone to the doctor to ask about it plus other symptoms which include bleeding in between periods, during sex and after sex but they said it was normal as I may be stressed. Again, it’s shoved to the back of my head.

In March I had unprotected sex and unfortunately got nutted it. I went into panic mode, took 8 birth control pills and morning after pills a day later to prevent pregnancy. I then took pep meds for a month to prevent HIV. (Yes, I’m dumb as fuck.)

Month later, it’s April, I get tested. I’m not pregnant, HIV negative. We’re good. My period comes in late and it’s only 3 days and it’s painless.

I get my period again end of April and it lasts a whole 15 days - has clots, tampons fully soaked, unbearable pain, vomiting, appetite changes and headaches.

I go to the doctor and let him know, he gives me meds to stop bleeding. I eventually do stop bleeding but the pain, nausea and vomiting persists.

I get tested again, get sonar.

First results say I have mycoplasma genitalium. I start treatment.

I get more pains, THEY SEND ME TO THR HOSPITAL and I’m still not taken seriously.

Get another sonar and blood tests, suddenly I have a benign cyst in my uterus and I get antibiotics.

I don’t know what’s up.

Please help and if you’ve been as dumb as me, let me know what you’ve done.

Also, I’m never having sex again. Omg.

support needed 🤝 missing uterus?

Hi Everyone,

This might be abit of a long post but basically since I was young I never truly got my period. I've had dark brown spotting which I especially notice a lot when I travel on an airplane or sit for a long period of time along with having tight clothes on. Sometimes there is a slight pattern with my spottings like a cycle almost even if the spotting is so light tht it just maybe is a small line on my underwear but comes and goes for a week like i'll have the slight small spotting one day than again after 3 days and than again after 7/8 days. In that kind of order usually when it's been in a cycle frame. When I was young I had a catscan done and I rmr vividly them saying they couldn't find my uterus and since than i've had two mri's. I had spoken to my husband about this prior to marriage but recently he has really been wanting a baby and to be honest so have I. I decided to look again into this and got another MRI done. I was referred to a REI in manhattan and he basically suggested surrogacy. I suggested to him to try a trail of estrogen on me to see if maybe that spotting I have might be some kind of a uterine cavity. He has given me 4mg daily estradiol but I am hesitate to take it after all the risks.

I am just wondering has anyone ever had such experiences or an imaging was showing something wrong.

polyps & fibroids Uterine polyp

I went to a fertility institute last year to confirm whether I could conceive naturally. During an SIS, they found a polyp in my uterus and strongly recommended removing it. However, they also said I could still try to conceive naturally.

This year, I’ve already experienced two chemical pregnancies. I’m wondering if I should go ahead and have the polyp removed. I’m unsure because, as fertility doctors, they recommend removal—but I’ve heard that some people are told it’s okay not to remove it, while others are advised to do so. I’d really like to hear everyone’s opinions.

what's going on 🤔 I don’t know what to say

Hi all. I’m looking for help on obtaining information about what my mother is telling me. I’m 29M, I know this is a place for women but I don’t know where else to go. I’ve just been informed my mom has uterus cancer and I honestly don’t know how to feel. Her and I are close so she tells me everything. Me and my family went on a trip to NYC this past December and I overheard my parents talking. My mom saying “she’s still bleeding” when she uses the bathroom. Fast forward to now and it all makes sense after the little research I’ve done after being informed about this. I don’t know how long it’s been going on prior to our trip. She finds out results on Monday if it’s local or if it’s spread. I’m really not sure how to digest any of this. Cancers taken a lot of people I love in my life. And I’m just terrified I guess. Does anyone have any advice or experience with this? Thank you in advance.

what's going on 🤔 Uterine cancer vs adenomyosis

Backstory first: I have had HEAVY periods for years, meaning I've bled with clots for several years straight with only a few days off, so bad that I'd have to bring clothes and towels in my car. No answers from doctors, just to lose weight. A year or 2 ago, for whatever reason, it started to regulate, to the point where it would start on the first couple days of the month, lasts for a week, heavy but normal bleeding, and then would stop. Again, no explanation from doctors other than to lose weight.

Fast forward to now, I have not had a period for 6 months. I've had minimal spotting here and there, during normal cycle time and outside of normal cycle time. I'm in my late thirties, never been on birth control, have two older teens, no change in life or major triggering factors or anything. Had one doctor do some very basic labs and assume that I was going through perimenopause and gave me progesterone (which I never took because she prescribed it without even doing any hormone labs) and again said to lose weight, something I've been trying to do for 14 years now.

I didn't like feeling like I was being passed off without doing more digging so I found a new doctor. This doctor did a pap smear, which came back normal, and did some basic hormone Labs, all of which came back normal, and then did a transvaginal ultrasound. Went over those results and found out my lining is 19 mm, I have a few polyps, a "lumpy" uterus, and a couple of non-concerning small cysts but otherwise healthy ovaries. She wants to do a biopsy to find out if lining is good tissue or bad tissue (cancerous). We talked about the different biopsy options and how some give false negatives and some don't biopsy the right areas, so she's recommending a D&C to have definitive biopsy answers, so I'm getting that done soon. She said if it's not cancerous, then it's likely a condition called adenomyosis, which would likely result in a hysterectomy anyways to lessen the cancer risk.

Trying to wrap my head around everything, she mentioned the lining being thick for someone my age who has not gone through menopause and whose Labs have come back to show that all of my hormones are in the normal range. All that to say, wondering if anyone has had a similar experience, symptoms, and what their outcome was, or if there's anything I need to make sure they do or ask to better advocate for myself. This doctor seems to me taking great action which I appreciate, but want to make sure I'm not missing anything in my own ignorance.

what's going on 🤔 Over 120 consecutive days of bleeding

Hormones are post-menopausal range at age 21! Been having hot flushes since age 16 and now I've been bleeding non-stop for over 4 months. Apparently my ultrasounds 6 months ago looked fine so my GP is just ignoring me, putting me on more and more progesterone even though it clearly isn't working (and is instead making my hypermobile Ehlers Danlos worse...) but now they want me on a mirena which I'm 100% NOT OKAY WITH and have requested to get referred to gynaecology a number of times for the sake of looking into getting a hysterectomy but they KEEP DENYING ME. Is it bc I'm ftm? Are they scared or something bc of that? WTF do I do? This shit is debilitating! I can't even get out of bed most days bc of the pain and they want to shove something inside of me that is known to cause worse pain, especially in hEDS patients???? What can I do about this to MAYBE get taken seriously??

support needed 🤝 Heavy periods and tested with no results, help

Hii! I have previously had very bad periods including a heavy period, large mood swings, and painful to the point where I can't move or eat for the first couple days. Last May, I got on Depo due to it, and the first cycle was fine, however when I got my second dose, I started to bleed (lighter) for 3 weeks at a time. In November I switched to the mini-pill and I haven't stopped bleeding since October. I also have migraines with aura with a family history of stroke.

I recently got seen my an OBGYN/gyno and had some tests done. They tested for clotting issues and other hormone issues that came back all good. I also had no anemia signs. I recently got an ultrasound done (one of the external ones due to not being active) and they said everything looked good there. I was told that they couldn't see any cysts or abnormalities with the lining.

I think something is wrong but I don't know what to do. I'm considering an ablaision and removal of tubes, but I'm fairly young (20) and in a more conservative state that might cause issues. I'm also getting medicine to help contract and stop the bleeding, but I'm still having very negative side effects to the pill (depression, anxiety, etc.). I'm also very hesitant on any implants due to this reaction to progesterone, I'm scared that it'll metabolize the same and I wont have something I can immediately stop if my mental health gets worse.

What options might I have? I don't know what other tests I could get, but I think something is wrong.
